Waiting on pick up order that I put in 40 minutes ago on my lunch.
    Nessa V.

The food is great but the customer service is terrible. I've called multiple times within the last two weeks and placed pick up orders are never ready. The front end person blames me and just rude.

#9 dinner combo orange chicken And sizzling fried rice soup

Hands down the best! The food was amazing. The service was great. The plates were huge! The sizzling fried rice soup is to die for. We got a #9 dinner plate and it literally had everything. We we're so stuffed we had to roll out of there lol. We took home so much leftovers too. The people in there are so nice!! For a business lady to tell us to just get one plate next time... blew my mind. To care so much about your guests like that and not just take the profit... wow! Way to go Beijing!! I definitely will be going back!

I enjoy their food, I just prefer the way they use to be 20 years ago. They had the best pan fried noodles, ever!

Good food and a lot of it for the price. My only issue is I never get my drink re-filled when I dine in.

We had the broccoli beef, orange beef (instead of orange chicken such a great choice!), potstickers, garden fried rice, and plain chow mein. Every single dish had its own distinct flavor nothing tasted the same, which really says a lot about the quality of the food. The orange beef was especially amazing, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The potstickers were tasty, and the fried rice and chow mein were cooked just right. What really made the experience even better was the service. The sweet little older lady at the front was our server, and she was so kind and attentive. She checked on us to make sure we were doing good and even helped package each plate individually to go, which we really appreciated. Great food, great service, and a very welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place if you're looking to try something new!

Other favorites are garlic chicken, hot and sour soup, kung pao chicken. Over the years I've tried almost every dish, lots of favorites here. The pricing is appropriate and the portions are generous. We also like that we can order the traditional boxes over styrofoam containers. The service is very quick. I call in our order and it's ready by the time we get there. The ambiance is nice, not fancy. We almost always bring our order home. Try the moo sho pork, it's incredible.

We've ordered other menu items, such as sesame chicken and egg foo young and we've liked those as well. While there's nothing wrong with dining in, I've personally preferred picking up food for take-out. Part of the reason for this is that the restaurant can get a bit cramped during peak times and there can be a lot happening with ordering, bussing tables, and whatnot. However, dining in during non-peak times has been delightful. I recommend eating at/ordering food from Sun China! I'm glad to eat here when visiting home, and am happy to experience a consistent level of quality when it comes to the food and service.

Being in town, she requested we get dinner here. The restaurant has been around for years. I remember coming here as a kid but now as an adult, we rarely dine here. Not much has changed. It gives a neighborhood restaurant vibe--cozy, and smallish, fish tank, and artwork. Service was alright, not really friendly but just that they were trying to get their job done. I called in our order and everything came out fine and semi-fast. Grandma and I shared the House Special Chop Suey and Sweet and Sour Pork. The portions are quite big and the entrees come out to over $15 per dish. A bit steep for the quality. The Chop Suey was our favorite--a bit of everything and nicely sauced. We'd order this again and again! Sweet and sour pork was underwhelming. No seasoning, vegetables are practically hard and still raw, and barely any pork under all the fried stuff. Wouldn't order that again. If you live in Reedley, there are only two Chinese restaurants and Sun China Chinese Restaurant is one of them. Depending on the dish it can either be a hit or miss. I wouldn't come back for myself but would if my Grandma or family were craving it.

It's located by madera ranchos. It's a drive from where I live but it's worth the scenery and then if you order yourself a lil crab ragoon appetizer (not pictured) you'll be alright lol Those ragoons never make it home btw. I've also tried other dishes, so if this particular plate isn't your niche, give something else a try. The shrimp and broccoli with extra crispy noodles is my favorite. I love the crispy yet soft broccoli, and the big shrimp. They do not play about their portions. I believe they also have a drive thru. I recommend taking cash, they do accept cards.
