I went to Win Wah on a late weekend evening and was the only customer in the parking lot and restaurant, so I was able to order quickly. I got the combo meal with pork fried rice, pork chow mein, and orange chicken for just $9.75 after tax. Part of the restaurant is under construction, but I ordered takeout and my food was still hot and fresh by the time I got home. The food itself was about a 3/5 for me. The fried rice smelled fragrant but tasted a bit dull, the chow mein was plain and had less meat than I expected, while the orange chicken was delicious but less tangy and a smaller portion than I anticipated. Overall, I'd rate the food 3.5/5, but I rounded up to 4/5 because of the excellent customer service. The waitress who took my order was genuinely kind and thoughtful, and that made the experience much better. read more

This is a very humble location but it's basically boarded up with food only to go. I've been reading some reviews about how good their Wonton soup was and had it on my radar. Unfortunately they were closed for the longest time. Tonight I was heading to a better-known restaurant and saw the lights on and made an emergency maneuver into the parking lot to immediately order the soup and sweet-and-sour pork. And I was richly rewarded for the experience. This is now my favorite wor won ton soup in Fresno! The texture and flavor of the soup was so good... i'm going to make it a lifeline for whatever years I have left on the earth! A good wonton soup is a blessing! Even the sweet-and-sour pork was quite good. It reminded me of the kind I used to get when I lived in Saratoga, the San Jose area. Delicious old-school type.. It had a good balance between meat with just a bit of fat making the texture more delicious. In addition I could taste that they had lightly seasoned the meat which made it so much better... it wasn't overly salty and it wasn't overly sweet. The ingredients in the soup were a good quality as well including the cuts of meat that they included, even the thickness. The tender chicken pieces melted in my mouth, not in my hand. :( and the barbecue pork slices were very tasty unlike you get in most places where they just slap some red dye on the outside it's boring plain old unseasoned flavored pork. As usual with these places my menu relies on the pictures from Yelp. In this case I had my iPad Pro with cellular with me and just buzzed through them again before ordering right at the register. Greeted by a nice worker and the order was ready. Small restaurant. Calm. Safe & clean. Paid for the order with well wishes! Lunchtime! Both soups split. Really great soups! Tasty won tons. Chicken cooked perfectly. Nice add with the shrimp. Fresh and tasty vegetables too! Perfect for this rainy day! Mother said hers was great! She said fresh veggies and a good amount of won tons! Used to be my favorite Chinese spot, haven't had it in a few years and got some today. This place went severely downhill. The food was terrible and almost hard to eat. Pot stickers had an odd old meat flavor and the Mongolian beef was rubbery and underseasoned. Will not be returning to win wah unfortunately read more

I ordered a combo plate of fried rice, pork chow mein, and orange chicken, to go. It was the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The fried rice had no vegetables no egg, and no flavor. The rice and the noodles tasted like they had been cooked in rancid oil. There were a few small pieces of pork on top, but they were dry and did not taste good. The orange chicken pieces were not even close to uniform in size or shape and were mostly fat. Most of the pieces did not have orange sauce on them. I ate a little bit. Then put the remainder in the garbage disposal. The food was so bad that I didn't even put the leftovers out for the visiting animals read more

Mongolian beef; nice decent slices, flavor is okay and veggies went perfectly well. Orange chicken; decent enough in texture and taste was mediocre. Service was quick. Didn't have to wait long approximately 5 mins with chicken and leaving with my food. The inside is blocked off with possibly one table to dine in; not sure if it was to dine in or wait for order. The room is closed off as when covid came everyone made their own separation and blocking off "dine in." They never came back from covid in regard to their dining area. Friendly service when ordered over the phone and when arrive for pick up. Overall good portion for the price, friendly, safe and would give it another try later down the road. read more

My family and I having been knowing about Win Wah since I was a little girl. I have actually dined here for a school trip when I was in the 5th grade. So I can tell you this place has been here for decades. This restaurant will always remind me of my childhood as I primarily grew up in this area. As an adult I really don't go over to that side of town due to work and family as it's in opposite side of town. This is a family owned business and the sweetest family you will meet! It is located by my childhood library Leo Politi that my dad took since I was a baby all the way until I was in high school. Every now and then we would get food from there. They even are supportive of special dietary restrictions and accommodating. The food is always flavorful and clean. I love bringing my niece here as she always has a blast playing with the families kids as my niece is such a social bunny that loves life! I highly recommend this place if you want to support a locally family owned business that will never disappoint you for years! Please give them a try as I know you won't be disappointed! read more

MAN ON MAN have I been waiting to try this place. I like to look a picture and the last place I tried definitely fooled me good. When I wanted to come it was around Aug/Sep/Oct and there were gone for vacation I also just ended up passing by each time devastated. Oh, but to my surprise one day I called, and the lady answered and proceed to tell her I was on the way later to place an order. Now if you're driving down the street fast and late, you'll pass up it up like I did in the beginning thinking that it was in the shopping center area vs street facing. I order the shrimp fried rice and chicken wings YUM. First thing first is that I love a good chicken wing and not the bland mess sprinkled with Cajun seasoning they tend to pass off in this area. Win Wah does just that nice and fried really well not too long or short just right full of flavor and its "WHOLE WANGS" as I like to say. Next was the rice I love soft rice and flavorful too if I have to add soy sauce it's a L because now, I'm just doing your job. The staff is nice, and they are quick I walked in and y order was ready in around 10/15 minutes. Big portions more than enough to share and to eat for a few days. Can't wait to come back! read more

This is a great find. My boyfriend and I stopped off here after a road trip and had a great meal. I had cashew chicken and it definitely did not disappoint!! The flavors was fantastic and the tenderness of the chicken was perfect. They were so incredibly generous with their portions that I ended up taking 3/4 of my meal home!
