This is the only Chinese restaurant I would recommend in the Oakhurst/Yosemite area. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was satisfying overall. We ordered seven dishes, and everything arrived freshly cooked and flavorful. Most of the dishes were well-prepared and delicious. My only problem are that the steamed rice was slightly undercooked, the walnut shrimp had a breading that was a bit too hard and seemed over-fried, and the Mongolian beef was cut into very small pieces, making it difficult to appreciate the beef since the onions were more prominent. Our favorite dishes were the seafood tofu soup and the sweet and sour fish fillet. Both were perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. Despite a few minor issues, the overall dining experience was very good. If you're looking for Chinese food in the Oakhurst/Yosemite area, I would still highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. read more

The food here was great and the service was just as good. We stopped in after a really long hike and everything hit the spot. We started with the wonton soup, which was really nice with ginger forward wontons that were full of flavor. For our mains, we ordered the combo plates. I got the Mongolian beef and my husband got the sweet and sour chicken. Both had really good flavor, and each plate came with fried rice, noodles, a spring roll, and a fried wonton. The portions were very generous for the price. We also ordered two fruit teas to go, and those were really good as well. Well perhaps Chinese food options are limited around these parts, just wasn't impressed the Shumai looked like it came right out of the box. id start by saying the best Chinese you'll get in Oakhurst. they have a great chow main recipe and the fried rice is awesome as well (wish they would add bacon and make it chefs kiss but as is is good) the best dishes ive had so fat are Mongolian beef, orange chicken and as mentioned above. My least favorite was the chicken salad im sorry to say that the sauce was horrid! Ive heard from family say they have great paper wrapped chicken and crab ragoons but I have yet to try the chicken and I don't eat crab lol. the newest owner has really transformed the place and put a lot of money in to upgrading the sitting area, and is friendly.
