    Spring roll

We had a taste for Chinese food, and I'm so glad we found this place. As the photos inside were few apart upon entering the space, the smell of delicious food let us know that we should have a seat at 1 of the 4 tables to dine in. A kid in the front doing homework and playing on a tablet, this food is going to hit! A calm, hospitable guy took our order and served us during the visit. Pot's clinging loudly in the kitchen. Orders going out for delivery and pick up at a blistering pace. Everything is cooked to order. So it took a while for everything to come out.We had salt and pepper wings, their version of triple delight, a spring roll, and my mom's beef dish. Despite my food not being what I thought (white sauce vs brown) it was fantastic. We should've taken an order of fried rice to go. Soooooo tasty.

I forgot to take the picture in the container before it was half eating and than transferred into my bowl. I ask my mom to go to order singapore Mei fun. The noodles were like ok it broken up. The veggies were good. The meats in the House Singapore Mei Fun was good too. There wasn't enough wok heat though. My mom said inside is small with 5 tables which I have seen in pictures and read and they have dim sum and things like that. I will probably come myself and get other things on the menu

This was the "BEST" Chinese food I've had in a while. First, it's not a big restaurant because it's located in a shopping center. Most importantly it was clean, not fancy, so don't judge. The young man that waited on us was very kind, knowledgeable, and soft spoken. He was amazing. You can see the chef in the back while he's preparing your food, hearing clinging and stirring from his wok. It was very nostalgic and fun. I had Hunan Chicken, pork fried rice with a spring roll. The tender, perfectly seasoned spicy chicken and rice complimented each other. NO SOY SAUCE needed. Absolutely Delicious!!! The chicken spring roll was crunchy and just perfect. You will not regret visiting this restaurant. Thank you Beijing Palace!!!!!

Vegetable Ma Po Tofu with Pork Fried Rice

Still one of the best Chinese food places I've been to. My dad and I came here for lunch today, and after a bad week, this really hit the spot. I ordered their crab rangoons, and their vegetable ma po tofu with a side of pork fried rice. My dad ordered egg drop soup and orange chicken with pork fried rice. His soup and my rangoons came first not long after we placed our orders, and they were both good temp. They were hot enough to eat without burning our mouths, which I appreciated. I ate one before I took a picture, I was so excited. It was great, the wrapper was very thin, and crispy, and there was a good amount of filling inside, which was seasoned real nice. The dipping sauce was also good and standard, not too artificial or anything. The soup was nice, eggy, brothy, not weirdly gelatinized or anything, just needed a spot of soy sauce. A little after we had finished our appetizers we received our entrees. I was astounded when I got mine. I mean that was literally a whole block of tofu in the bowl. A few pieces of broccoli and mushrooms were in there, and bits and pieces of carrot and other vegetables were in the sauce mix. The sauce itself was soy forward, and had good flavor. Tofu was cooked nice, still tender and bouncy, not falling apart or anything. It had soaked up all the juice so it was quite flavorful. The rice was fine as well, as good as last time I was here. I just could not finish it all, I had to take some home. As per last time, our waters were very well attended to, and overall just great service. Can't wait til next time!

This might be the new go to place for Chinese food! So good and so fresh tasting! I can't rave enough about it. And for a place to have mu shu beef!? Outstanding on all levels!

The food here was fresh, made to order and hot! Service was great. Refilled our tea 3 times. It's a tiny place with 5 tables. We didn't mind, we are from out of town. They do delivery and take out we had lumpia, cucumber salad, Mongolian beef, cashew chicken and chicken lo mein. I would definitely eat here again if I were local. I even sent the link to a local friend.

They are as tasty as they look!

A great cosy place for delicious, hot Chinese dishes. We tried three appetizers, seaweed salad, spicy edamame and lettuce wrap. Then we ordered shrimp in garlic sauce and chicken with a little spicy and sour flavor as our main dishes. The server was very welcoming and made good suggestions when we ordered. Finally, the price was a bargain.

I like that it's spaced out and you're not over crowded. Our waitress Catherine was awesome. She's always nice, friendly, and patient. She gave us the menu specials and allowed us to chat a bit before ordering. My friend ordered the cheese wontons, general tso chicken and dan dan noodles. The wontons were really good. I like that they were sweet and crispy. I'd get them again for sure. The dan dan noodles were spicy and flavorful. My sister and I got the Mongolian chicken, storm fish, and eggplant. This is my go to meal that I normally get, it's always tasty. The storm fish normally comes with a spicy mayo sauce, but they didn't have it this time. The fish was still ok, but the sauce is what gives it flavor, so it was a little bland this time. The eggplant and Mongolian chicken were yum, hot, and fresh!! I definitely recommend this restaurant to alot of people. I just think it's more elevated compared to regular Chinese takeout food. They have many delicious options on the menu, and again the vibe is chill. If you're planning a group dinner this is definitely a great option. The rooms have a lazy Susan on the table to make sharing the family style meals easy. Check them out!!

I found maybe 4 at most. It was also disappointing most of the sauce was on the bottom. So it's imperative you stir everything from bottom up upon receiving the order. The top layer tasted like it had barely any seasonings because of it. I wish I had known the meal came with copious amounts of mushrooms. I otherwise would have specifically requested the order be made without the them. I am not a big fan of mushrooms and especially the fragrant kind like the shiitake variety. I feel like I had mouthfuls of mushrooms in each bite and that's all I tasted. Perhaps I will order something else they are more known for the next time I believe they specialize in Szechuan cuisine.

I'm a chef myself and travel to different restaurants regularly, so I try to be understanding. That said, the service we experienced yesterday at Stock Pot was unfortunately some of the worst I've had in quite a while. We sat outside, and it honestly felt like we were being deliberately ignored. The restaurant wasn't busy, yet we had to wait long stretches just to get basic things. At one point near the end of our meal, we asked for a box and our check. Instead of bringing it over, the waitresses stood around talking with other waitresses, while we continued to wait. After sitting there for quite a while, we eventually had to ask for the check and box, a second time. Throughout the meal the service was inconsistent. We had three different waitresses checking on us, but were left to sit for about 30 minutes alone at one point, and it took almost 20 to have our order taken, once we ordered, we had to request our appetizer again, after waiting another 20 or so minutes. Upon asking, again, we found out they were out of part of the appetizer we ordered. After that it came out quick. The food, however, was excellent and definitely the highlight of the experience. That's why this review is disappointing to write -- the kitchen is clearly doing a great job. I just hope the service side improves, because it didn't match the quality of the food.

I tried a cup of their red bean and ham soup (it was the soup du jour) as well as their open face chicken salad sandwich and both were very good. They were both made fresh, in-house with fresh ingredients. Flavors were great too. I really liked the touch of having Dijon mustard on the chicken salad sandwich. There were so many great things on the menu that I would definitely return and try more!

I called earlier in the day to see if we should make reservations, but was told they wouldn't be busy. Well, we got there and while they had plenty of tables at 6:30PM, but 7PM that place was completely packed! They had lots of carry-out orders happening too, which all made the kitchen a little slow. We ordered many dishes to share and all started coming out one after another over the next hour until the beef & broccoli was the last dish. Again, I attribute the slowness of the kitchen to their being so busy. At least all the food that came out was very fresh, tasty, and piping hot. Some interesting items that were quite good were their potatoes and green peppers. This dish is something I've never seen before but was pretty good! It features long julienned potatoes that they clearly soak in water before wok'ing with the peppers - that was all that was in the dish, but it was still tasty. Their Fish in Chili Oil & Bean Sprouts was really tasty and fresh! The fish is flounder. Their spicy wontons in chili oil were very popular with our group too. Service here was friendly too and helpful. Like I said, we tried many items, so many more than I just outlined and all were nice. I'd definitely return for a slightly more elevated Chinese menu from what you get at the typical Chinese-American joints.
