I was impressed with the place. Ordered take out and it came quick and hot. The food was very good and fresh taking. Really great prices. We got beef and broccoli and fried rice combo and a boneless spear rib combo each were $10 and plenty of food. Would for sure order again.

Crappy, flavorless Chinese food. That's pretty much what I have to say. My friends and I ordered delivery from them on a Friday night. I'll start with the good: the food came in a reasonable time and the order was correct. Their prices are pretty good and you get a decent amount of food. Unfortunately it was all flavorless. While waiting for our food we had some drinks and worked up an appetite. Despite our state, the food was still really awful. We ordered a whole lot of dishes (Crab Rangoons, Vegetable Fried Rice, Chicken Lo Mein, Vegetarian Gyoza, Bean Curd Szechuan Style) and the only thing that stood out were the Vegetarian Gyoza, which were actually pretty good. The rest of the food was disappointing to say the least. It wasn't inedible, it was just flavorless. I doused my food in soy sauce just to taste it, which obviously is not how it should be. The next day I reheated some leftovers and that only reinforced how bland and boring the food was. I wouldn't order from here again. It was too disappointing.

This has been my go to spot for years now, the food is always fresh and delicious, sushi is amazing, and fast delivery, also very affordable prices. The staff are friendly I mean that pretty much sums it up I've never had any issues with this place. Just make sure when you order you ask them for ketchup and whatever sauce you like sometimes they seem to forget.

After falling into a zone of sadness from not getting any BTS concert tickets, I decided to get their Chicken Teriyaki Deluxe Set to comfort myself. Did it comfort me? Not really. The portions are huge. They give you chicken teriyaki with rice, a California roll, shrimp tempura and other fried food, miso soup and salad. I've just finished eating everything besides the salad. The food is a little on the bland side. I liked the miso soup best. The roll came in next. It was $14.70. Will probably buy again for the rolls.

It's a family owned business. We ordered an appetizer, a few special rolls, and a miso cod fish entree. The Shichimi salmon was maybe the best part of the meal. I think I got the Mango Hawaii, Ocean roll, and something else. The rolls tasted pretty similar. I saw it recommended but it's basically salmon with some sweet chili sauce on top. We didn't expect that.. it's an odd combo. Tasted cheap.. I forced L to try a lil bite of the miso cod and he said it tasted a lil old. Its ok.. I've def had better even. I mean I don't expect Nobu/other exp restaurant quality fish ... it is what is.. it was one of our cheaper meals we've had at a restaurant but we felt it was a lil overpriced compared to the quality we're used to. There was a family eating dinner at a table near us and they seemed to enjoy their food.. Maybe I should've just ordered regular rolls since it's more of a local spot.

Even before the food arrives, the restaurant leaves a strong impression with its stunning Japanese-inspired interior. The space is beautifully designed, blending warmth and elegance in a way that feels both inviting and refined. From the soft lighting to the natural wood accents and thoughtfully arranged decor, everything about the atmosphere feels intentional. It captures the intimate charm of a traditional izakaya while still feeling modern and stylish, making it a wonderful setting for anything from a casual dinner to a more special night out. The food more than lived up to the beauty of the space. One of the first highlights was the salmon onigiri, a dish that proved how satisfying simplicity can be when it is done well. The rice was soft, fresh, and perfectly formed, holding together without feeling too compact, while the salmon added a savory richness that made each bite feel comforting and flavorful. It was balanced, delicate, and deeply satisfying in a way that made it memorable despite its simplicity. The seared salmon salad was another standout. The salmon itself was beautifully prepared, with a lightly seared exterior that gave it a subtle crispness, while the inside remained tender, buttery, and smooth. That contrast in texture made the dish especially enjoyable. Paired with the freshness of the salad, it felt light and refreshing, yet still substantial enough to feel like more than just a side dish. It was a dish that managed to feel both clean and indulgent at the same time. The grilled squid was particularly impressive and easily one of the most memorable items of the meal. Squid can often be difficult to get right, as it can become rubbery or overly chewy if even slightly overcooked, but that was absolutely not the case here. The texture was spectacular--tender, delicate, and pleasantly springy without any toughness. Each bite had a light smokiness from the grill that added depth, while the squid itself retained its natural sweetness. It was expertly prepared and showcased a level of precision that really stood out. For the main courses, both the Tonkatsu Ramen and the Black Pepper Ramen delivered distinct experiences, each with its own appeal. The Tonkatsu Ramen was deeply comforting and satisfying, with a broth that had a rich, velvety texture and a full-bodied depth that coated the palate beautifully. It felt smooth, hearty, and luxurious without being too heavy. The noodles had an ideal texture as well--firm enough to provide a satisfying bite, yet soft enough to soak up the broth and integrate perfectly into the dish. Altogether, it was a bowl that felt warming, balanced, and incredibly comforting. The Black Pepper Ramen, on the other hand, brought a bolder and more assertive flavor profile. The broth had a smooth, glossy texture, and the noodles again had a pleasing chew that gave the dish structure and substance. The black pepper added an unmistakable warmth and aromatic intensity that made the ramen stand out immediately. It was flavorful and memorable, though the pepper was slightly overwhelming at times. A bit less black pepper would have allowed the other flavors in the broth to come through more clearly and created a more balanced bowl. Even so, the ramen was still enjoyable, especially for those who appreciate strong, pepper-forward flavors. Overall, Izakaya Fuku is a restaurant that succeeds on every level. The stunning Japanese interior creates an atmosphere that feels both immersive and elegant, while the food reflects a real attention to detail in both flavor and texture. From the comforting salmon onigiri, to the fresh and beautifully prepared seared salmon salad, to the expertly grilled squid with its exceptional texture, and finally the rich and satisfying ramen dishes, every part of the meal felt carefully executed. It is a place that offers not just excellent food, but a complete dining experience, and it is well worth visiting for anyone looking for standout Japanese cuisine in New York.

First of all, we couldn't find the place because there is no signage. I guess that's part of the "charm"? But literally when we found it we didn't even know if the place was open. The gates were down, the windows were basically covered and nothing about the place was welcoming. We realized they were in fact open so we approached the door. We were greeted by a piece of paper stating "reservations only". We entered anyway and the place was EMPTY. There was one couple seated but other than that the place was EMPTY. The hostess approached us and I asked her if we needed a reservation and she said we did. So we said ok we'll come back another time and then she said, " well since it's pretty quiet tonight we can seat you." We should have left. We were in there for about an hour give or take and no one else came in at all. At all. Anyways, we ordered our food. I ordered the sashimi plate and my husband ordered a couple rolls. We also ordered the crab and avocado salad and the hamachi kama. Everything was basic. Nothing was amazing...oh except the price of the hamachi kama. Menu said market price and I get it, that means the price will fluctuate accordingly, but $60 for the hamachi kama? I almost fell off my chair when the bill came. I have eaten at very high end sushi restaurants and am almost 50 years old. I have never had a $60 hamachi kama. This one wasn't even tasty!!! It was not good or flavorful. Tasted like they just defrosted and microwaved it. I was wondering why i kept hearing a microwave go off but realized after the fact that that's what they must have done. I did not complain. We paid the bill. We left. Later that night I had stomach issues. Nicest way I can put that. I will say that i ate almost nothing that day so I can only attribute the stomach issues to the sushi. Needless to say we will not be back.

The strawberry part was more like a jam, so it was a little sweet for me, but overall a decent drink. I would have preferred crushed strawberries, though. Later, I came back for dinner at the tail end of the day. I was leaning towards the beef curry bowl because I like bolder flavors, but the karaage chicken is a hit here, so I ordered that in bowl form. First off, all the contents were very fresh! The chicken pieces were crisp and tasty. The burdock on the side had a smoky umami that was quite nice - it was the best of the 3 sides - and the spicy mayo was on point. Still, I think I would have gone with the curry given my taste buds, but overall the karaage bowl is a solid choice. Lastly, while the container looks small in circumference, it is taller than other takeout containers, so the portions are really about the same as any other restaurant. The nori fries were subtle in flavor but the nori still made its presence known. All in all it was a great experience. The owners are very nice, also. I will go back for the curry and yakiniku, too.
