I've been going to bejee's for 10 years at least and every Eid she has the most beautiful, good quality, and elegant Pakistani clothing. Bejee's been in the US for a really long time so she really understands the style of clothing we like and it's more about having elegant work and colors than just fill every dress with random beading. I did check out all stores on Devon before coming to bejee's to have my wedding dress made and honestly at every store I felt nervous about the quality of their work or even their understanding of what I wanted. I wanted a desi beaded dress, but cut and fit like an american wedding dress. I got a white and gold/ silver work A line style with a belt inside the dress for support. Bejee really came through and did all of that for me without compromising style at a reasonable price. She's very honest about what she can and cannot do in your budget and has recommendations for what would make the dress nice or not. Huriya (in her 20s) was also super amazing and understood exactly what I wanted. I ordered my dress about 3 months in advance and it was here in time for fitting to be done. I think she has done dresses faster than this too. If you don't have any time, they do have one of the most beautiful bridal collection on site as well. I think something to consider is you have to be patient to shop on Devon in general. Everything takes time and even if they make an appointment they still have to help other people so try to go at a time you would anticipate less people or just be patient. The toughest thing about ordering the dress was waiting the 3 months and the hours of appointments on Devon to figure out exactly what I wanted. The staff was always very respectful and friendly, which my mother in law (non desi) appreciated a lot. She was quite irritated at other stores by their lack of customer service so this is quite a bonus for bejee's. Ultimately, I ended up loving the beading style on a purple dress, then I sketched it up in the A line style and slight tail look I wanted and then she had me pick from a color book where I chose ivory. I am someone that hates the thought of having to go to Devon and dealing with the business owners there. I hadn't been in almost 20 years when I ended up needing to go pretty last minute for an outfit for my little sisters wedding. My older sister and I were in search of a similar outfit but in different colors. After walking up and down Devon and getting to the point where we just wanted to leave we happen to walk into Bee Jee's as our last attempt. Let me just say that right when you walk in you notice the change in atmosphere and environment from all the other shops. This place is constructed beautifully with gorgeous decor and quality materials. We were approached within seconds of entering and I must say that you will not get anywhere close to this level of customer service and selection anywhere else on Devon! We were thrilled to meet Fatima and Kiran and greatly appreciated their assistance and attention! They were genuinely interested in helping us and wouldn't let us give up. We ended up finding the two most unique and beautiful matching outfits which were altered for us right away and ready to wear within days! I've tried to like this place, been there more then a few times and I have to say I will not be going back there again after discovering the customer service is horrible and clothes are over priced. The owner is very rude, you can tell her only goal is to rip you off. She'll push you in to trying on clothes, then insult you when you don't want them. She also owns fizaa palace, which is equally horrible. My sister and I got outfits from there and she mixed up the alterations and since there was no time to get it fixed I was not able to fit into the outfit I wanted and have never been able to wear it. However, trials were completely forbidden and she said she would charge $150 deposit to try clothes on. Are you serious? I ended up going to another store and purchased all my outfits there. I went to Bejee for my mendhi and wedding outfit and I would have to say I do not regret it at all. Everyone was in love with both of my outfits. My mendhi outfit was custom made based on a picture and it came out amazing, Bejee was able to make all the changes it needed to make it perfect. They were so helpful when it came to picking color combinations​ and recommending​​g what would look nice and ​what didnt match. Huriya helped me through the whole process and made it so easy and less stressful. My wedding outfit was an outfit from her shop and it was probably one of the most elegant outfits I had found on Devon. Bejee was able to work with my budget to help me get the dress, she was reasonable and made all the alterations needed in a timely manner. I traveled to Chicago to shop for dresses for my sister's wedding and came across this place. as soon as I walked in I got surrounded by three extremely talkative women. They were stuck to my husband and I like glue, gave us no breathing room to privately look around until my husband asked. I was 7 months pregnant and asked to look at plus sizes, they showed me a few and I chose two((mind you they were semi formal and from $350-430) however they needed alterations. they told me they will do the alterations for an exrtra $25. the wedding was only two weeks way and I was desperate and made the horrible choice of ordering from them. they mailed the dresses to me two days before my sister's wedding, and they were both disastrous!!!! the fabric they added to make the trousers longer was three shades darker then the original, the duppatas were short and square, one of the dresses was missing a few stones. it's been over a month, I've called and left several vms and no one has returned my calls, they ruined my dresses and I have yet to hear back from them. I recently visited Chicago and decided to check out Devon street. After looking at alot of indian clothing stores I walked into Bee-Jee's and was pleasantly greeting by a really sweet, cheerful , friendly and ofcourse helpful Nida. I told her what I was looking for and she immediately showed me a couple anarkalis which was exactly what I wanted. She gave me a really good deal and I ended up buying two anarkalis for myself and two suits for my neices. I must say the collection of suits,saris and bridal wear at this store is the best I have seen on Devon and at the most affordable prices. Most importantly , the two suits I wanted were small for me and they guaranteed that they would be able to alter them to fit me within a day. I went back the next day for the trial and I needed some more adjustments and Kiran immediately sorted out my adjustments and I had both my outfits perfectly fitted on the spot. 24 hours ago I didn't know that this store even existed but I can confidently say that from now on I'm only going to shop at Bee-Jee's for all my occasions!! My sister bought her nikaah outfit from Beejees and to be honest, we were not very happy with it when we got it. However, Kiran listened to our complains and remade the dress the way we wanted it. We were annoyed with having to remake it, but very happy with the outcome of the re-done dress. However, Bejee's really pulled through for us at the last minute when my sister's wedding dress (that we bought from another boutique) did not come in time for her wedding (it got stuck in customs in France). We were all freaking out the day of her mehndi as the wedding was the next day and we had no outfit. I called Kiran and she told us to come to the store right away. I told her that we had to go to my sister's nikaah and mehndi and would not be able to come until really late. She kept the store open until 2am so we could come after the function. Within an hour, my sister picked out another wedding dress, but the size needed to be adjusted and the sleeves and dupatta were see through (my sister is hijaabi). Kiran had lining put on the sleeves and dupatta and had full alteration done and had the dress ironed and ready for my sister by 1pm the next day. She truly was amazing and understood the difficult situation we were in and helped us so much. The wedding dress we got from her looked better than her original dress and we got so many compliments on it! The prices are a bit high, but the service and quality are worth every penny! read more

After walking around all of Devon with no luck, we ended up going to Bee Jees. We needed to find outfits for all my sisters and parents for my sisters wedding on a short notice. We were so happy with the quality of clothes that we found here. They have the most beautiful and unique pieces, that I hadnt seen in any other store on Devon. The customer service was amazing. They gave us room to shop around while attentively tending to our needs. We ended up buying all our outfits, for all our events, for my entire family from here! Even the cost was very reasonable. They went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied with the tailoring as well, and I have a very hard time finding good tailors. They have a wide variety of some of the most beautiful selections. Huriya helped me pick out the most perfect wedding dress, a designer master copy, HSY. I had gone in with the mind set of wanting a specific kind of dress and left with something I loved so much more. My mother and sister were also able to find dresses as well. They worked with us to give us an amazing deal on everything we purchased in addition to jewelry. Furthermore, with the short amount of time given, they prioritize our needs and worked diligently to ensure we were able to leave Chicago with all of dresses altered and fitted to perfection so we were able to take our dress with us before we left. I've had a fantastic experience working with Bee Jee's in getting ready for my wedding. The dresses are beautiful and high quality, and the prices are great. When looking for my engagement dress and wedding outfits, I went into multiple stores and kept coming up short--in most cases, the designs were gaudy and unflattering. Of the few stores that offered beautiful, great quality designs, some had very unreasonable prices. By contrast, Bee Jee's had a wider selection at excellent prices. I bought my engagement dress there, which was gorgeous--everybody at the party and who saw pictures gushed about how amazing it looked. Best of all, my fiance loved it, and still remarks about how nice it was from time to time. Kiran and her team were very detail-oriented in working with me to alter it and make adjustments until it looked beautiful. It's obvious that they are very well-versed in clothes, sewing, material, and styling. When they undertook the first round of alterations, they knew before I even tried it on that they would have to adjust some of the intricate work in one area because of how the fabric falls--when I tried on the dress, they went looking to see and mark where they would have to make that adjustment. At other stores, I've had to point out those issues after actually trying on the dress, but here, they already knew that that change would be needed, and sprung into action once I wore the outfit. I had an even better experience when buying my mehndi dress from them. I had a two-color combination in mind, but would've been happy to find anything nice. I looked up and down Devon trying to find something special, but kept having no luck. When I walked into Bee Jee's to pick up my finalized engagement dress, I saw a new outfit on the mannequin--the rhinestones sparkled like diamonds, and the intricate detailed work was fitting for a bride. And, it was exactly the color combination that I'd been hoping for. I even found matching bangles for both dresses. The best part of the outfit was what Kiran did with the sleeves that she added. Because the outfit featured a combination of some unique materials, everyone knew it would be tricky to find the right fabric in a matching color for the sleeves. I was lucky that Kiran was on the job, because she procured it. What really impressed me, though, was how genuinely ecstatic she was at how fortunate we were in finding the material--it showed me that she really loves her work, is a perfectionist, and truly cares about putting together a beautiful product for her customers. But her dedication to making the outfit come together perfectly didn't stop there. She first took the same kind of material that was used in other parts of the dress and cut out the rhinestones and other work--she did this to put the exact same work on the sleeves that the rest of the dress had. Then, when they had a slow day at the shop because of a snowstorm, she took advantage of the extra time and put in the rhinestones and other work, herself, instead of sending it out to a tailor. When the velvet sleeves made it difficult for the rhinestones to stick, she kept brainstorming, trying to find a way to get them to stay on. She ultimately expended much time and energy burning and sewing the work into the fabric. I saw the dress midway through the process, and was concerned about how the velvet material and color would look with the rest of the dress, but when I saw the final product, I realized what an artist Kiran is, and how well she knows her craft. The sleeves perfectly complemented the rest of the dress, particularly the work in the lehnga. It was a very difficult project that others might have given up on. When I tried on the final product, both my future mother-in-law and parents were blown away by how nice it looked. Not only that, Kiran was extremely resourceful with other items for my wedding--things that might seem small or unconventional, but that resolved some major wedding preparation issues for me. I was going to wear a jewelry set that I had from before with the mehndi dress, because it matched perfectly. Unfortunately, the set did not have a tikka. My mom had a tikka, separately, but the interior stones were pink, whereas my outfit had maroon in it. Kiran saw the tikka and brought out some jewelry paint--she painstakingly painted over the stones, until they gleamed brilliantly and matched my dress perfectly. Even though she typically charges for that service, she was happy to do it for free; she even said that after the wedding, I should bring the tikka back so that she can remove the paint and restore it to its original design. She also went through non-desi dress shirts and pants that I had brought in from a department store, and helped me put together a great outfit for my fiance that would match my mehndi dress. I still have more outfits to buy for my wedding, and will be a regular at Bee Jee's for those and beyond. read more

i had a very very bad experience at Bee Jee s. i went there looking for some daily wears. At first this lady kiran was very courteous and showed me many outfits promising me a reasonable discount. eventually i chose 2 dresses,thats when all her courtesy vanished .She was very rude and billed our stuff without a discount of even a dollar. Its only when i returned home is that i realised she hadnt given me the dupatta for my salwar. we went back there several times,but the shop would be closed. eventually one day we went there and asked for the dupatta,she looked for it halfheartedly then plainly refused saying they didnt have it. she was rude and didnt show any respect to us. moreover she thinks that she is always right,has a lot of headweight and is argumentative. Buying clothes from her was the biggest mistake and i suffered a lot of monetary losses too,mainly because i cant wear a salwar kameez without its dupatta and also from all that gas i spent on making trips to her shop. i recommend everyone NOT to buy anything from Bee Jees ., all i can say about her is she is an aweful lady and the service is very very very bad.Remember guys,she s not doing us any favour when we spend our hardearned money at her shop. read more
