Although aging in appearance, the store has a generous amount of square footage however the layout of the store is oddly designed. Management is fantastic and so genuinely helpful at this location (I'm reviewing this in May of 2016 so I can't speak for times before). The manager here was on her way to a break but I stopped her to ask her questions about a product without a tag. She quickly took the time out and found a similar product and provided me with a tag (and gave me a discount because the item I wanted was on sale, too!). The Marshalls in particular has always been clean and organized. They have a ton of amazing products like Kate Spade and Tory Burch. They also have an incredible selection of shoes but you have to go quick because they run out of popular sizes fast. But you can return items within 14 days just as long as you have all the tags in place and the receipt. Shoes, however, you can try on. I love how everything is organized and you can see where mostly everything is. Makes it so much easier to shop and mix and match outfits!

With that said, some of the way things are organized takes a little getting used to. Sporting goods right across from groceries? Sure. Finding TP being a micro-quest? Why not? Otherwise, I find this store is generally kept clean, items are well presented (pulled forward, 'zoned' in Target lingo), and I've not had out-of-stock issues. Something that is at times less than perfect is the staff. For one, if you're checking out, there is a significant focus on self-checkout, with humans being guest service and cashiers in one. I was also confused if those doing order-pickup should enter the line with everyone and their carts/baskets, or cut in from the front. Last note I want to share is that I do appreciate the parking under the building, though I find parking is common at Chicago Targets. Final Verdict: as a Target close to me, I visit when I need to make a quick run. However, if I need to make a more comprehensive purchase, I go to a larger format store.

This felt as disjointed as the sizing, I seemed to be hitting all the wrong stuff, too tight, too loose, oh wait these are just right but dang too short. There was on pair I really liked, but a 28" inseam? I like those and they were designed (imo) to be worn with boots or high tops, okay I can do that, but they're still to short. If I were to cuff them, I'd look like an idiot. It was recommended that I try one of the outlets that carried more stock and size combinations. The store is a bit cluttered for my taste. I wouldn't mind going back to purchase sketch pads and art supplies should I have the urge to draw again since they are reasonably priced.
