I will rate this relative to the city of Cheyenne and not let my city-mind and world travels affect my views. The ambiance was ok, probably a 3 normally but a 4 for the area It's a big space with lots of seating in the inside - lots of semi private stalls which is great for conversation or eating alone. The menu is HUGE - it's not just Japanese, but Chinese and Vietnamese and I'm sure other Asian dishes, one-stop shop! We were only driving by and it was windy and I was in the mood for soup and ordered the Beef and Meatball Pho - the noodles broke apart easily and the meat was rubbery. The soup base was decent, so I would normally give it a 2.5 but I'll bump up to 3.5 again for the city. Service was great tho, no complaints there, a 4.5! So overall I'll give this place a 4, again relative to options in Cheyenne.

Bejo is an amazing place and will definitely suprise you being in Cheyenne. I wish I had more time here because I would have come back a 2nd time. Staff was amazing! Family owned and you can tell they take pride in their restaurant. I chatted it up with the owner and was fascinated with with their history. This definitely is my favorite restaurant in Cheyenne. I only tried their sushi so I can't comment on everything else. They have a good variety of dishes, from different types of asian cultures. The main chef is Indonesian but is verse in different types of cooking. The fish was fresh and melt in your mouth good! My only gripe (not a deal breaker) is that the slices were too big. Definitely not bite size but I sure tried for them to be. My OBCD was definitely showing its ugly head that night.

Fast service and good food. The chicken lettuce wraps were flavorful and came with a decent portion of chicken - if you like sauce I'd recommend ordering extra sauce as it wasn't quite enough for each of our wraps. The sushi rolls we got were huge! Large bites and several pieces to each roll, definitely bang for your buck. Each roll was dressed with a healthy amount of sauce, and stuffed full.

Made a spontaneous lunch trip here yesterday and was pleasantly surprised! It wasn't busy but for the food quality I was surprised, I'd expect it to be a lot more busy for how delicious it is. Wonderful service. Really good lunch prices. A good variety of dishes to choose from but not an overwhelming amount. Very nice decorations. Would love to visit here again the next time I am downtown!

I had heard good things about this place and being new to the area I decided to go out for lunch while exploring the very walkable and inviting downtown. The menu is fairly large and has some interesting rolls. As others have stated, the sushi tasted a bit fishy but the presentation was beyond superb. I had the cowgirl and my daughter had the aloha roll as well as the crunch roll. Someone definitely needs to warn patrons about the portion sizes because they were enormous! Portion size and presentation they definitely get a 4-star rating. The fishy taste sort of threw me. Management, please steep your green tea a little more because I could hardly taste it. Overall it was a good place but coming from a coastal state, I'm used to a bit fresher. I would still try them if you're considering it. Edamame was good and so was the vegetable tempura.

Bejo Yellow tail TIRADITO thin slices of Yellowtail, sauce, jalapeño slices and a dab of Sriracha. Crab cheese wonton (yum) Miso soup (a little weak) Chefs choice, 24 pieces of Sashimi THE FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE. The menu was hugh. We loved our people, our experiences. It was so fresh it has to be one of my favorite place for sashimi in a very, very, long time. Yes I know, it was Cheyenne. A special shout out to these people; Angel Dwi (my favorite) Lucy Hendri Florence Rizal We will return, we HAVE TO go back! I WOULD RECOMMEND. I CANNOT WAIT!

Very solid sushi in Cheyenne! My colleague and I usually are able to destroy 4 sushi rolls in a sitting. Not here; and not these, we were pleasantly surprised with the quantity and quality of the rolls. We tried some fried and standard faire; all were fresh and each had their own pizzazz. The only situation with the visit that wasn't on point was the server. He wasn't very attentive with keeping up with the drinks at our table or monitoring our progress. He would seat a table, bring drinks, take an order then disappear for long periods. Had to hunt him down to get boxes and ask for the check when we hadn't seen him for 30 minutes. But for that, I would have given them a 5 star. Good sushi at a fair price.

Fantastic Sushi, with Wonderful Gluten-Free Options!!…read more - - - - - - - - June, 2026 Visit Kyle and his team went out of their way to make us gluten free sushi, off-the-menu!!! and it was amazing! Kyle put so much into getting us a wonderful lunch that we would grant six stars if we could !!!!! For the record, as of this visit, most of the food at Hi sushi is gluten free... only the eel sauce, onion something and tempura have gluten, and they are willing to substitute for you. And still, as we just asked to confirm what we could order, Kyle and Kyla worked to confirm what we wanted and we confirmed a couple substitutes. THEN they worked magic.... They improvised on the recipe and brought us something even more special!! The Tokyo combo is good and they made sure to replace the one fish marinated in eel sauce with another fish - this was good. Same for the nigiri / sashimi we ordered. Both were good without soy sauce... and Lyle replaced that with another gf sauce for us and that was extra tasty, too. Kyle's magic was the Laramie roll... a couple ingredients were substituted, and they put "baby" scallops on top - the smallest I have ever seen, about the size of a pearl onion. And then Kyle and team provided a special sauce that was fantastic. The GF Laramie special is fantastic. Thank you for a great lunch, Hi Sushi!! ----- ----- -----

The fountain and bamboo shoots framing the back wall of the bar really pull the place together in a way that you don't find in many other areas of Wyoming. Love it. That is about where the positives end. Remember how I said the ambiance was good? That's true, except for the God-awful music choice that was absolutely blasting over our heads. This isn't some boomer-level complaint about how pop music has degraded into slop AI could recreate either. I enjoyed several of the songs. I'm talking about theme, which whoever sets up the music here seems to have forgotten they work at a sushi restaurant and not the run-down Wendy's down the street. Please, for the love of God, change the station or playlist or whatever to something actually appropriate for the space. I beg you. Pretty much every other aspect about this place desperately needs a revamp and soon. The service was subpar not because of rude waitstaff or neglect, but professionalism is sorely lacking. The bar is treated as a personal hangout space, some employees are uniformed and clean while others are wearing personal clothing that range from ratty to ragged. The tables aren't set properly at all; in our experience here, an order of gyoza was not received with serving plates or chopsticks, which were never offered to begin with. At any sushi restaurant, chopsticks are kind of an obvious inclusion and yes, even people white as ghosts such as myself sometimes possess the dexterity required to manipulate two pieces of wood properly to eat with. The prices are something to be desired given the portions. Feeling somewhat adventurous, we also ordered one of the signature rolls which had a whopping 6 pieces totaling almost twenty dollars. It was plated in a way so gaudy and tacky I could think Gordon Ramsey would have something to say about it Kitchen Nightmares style. We cut it short after that. Overall, it's evident to me at least that this location was decimated by COVID in 2020 and has kept to go and DoorDash orders as its lifeline and will never truly recover into becoming a proper restaurant such as expected of current society. A damn crying shame, as there really is a lot of potential to be known as a local secret spot you'd have to dig for.

The gyoza came out perfectly pan-seared -- crispy on the bottom, tender on top, and packed with flavor. That dipping sauce had just the right balance of salty, tangy, and savory. You could easily crush two orders without trying. The pork belly steamed buns were next-level. Soft, pillowy buns wrapped around rich, melt-in-your-mouth pork belly. The balance of fat, sweetness, and sauce was perfect. Messy in the best possible way. And then the star -- the Tonkotsu Ramen. The broth was deep, creamy, and packed with flavor -- that slow-simmered richness that tells you it was done right. The noodles had the perfect bite, and the pork was tender and seasoned beautifully.
