    Tonkotsu ramen
    Laura M.

We had a wonderful experience here. We arrived, on a Saturday evening, on the later side, and were greeted and seated right away. There were other people there (maybe 6 other tables of people), but not overly busy. There's plenty of seating, high ceilings, and a fun Asian flair to the restaurant. I was craving a noodle bowl - and ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen - the broth was very flavorful, with a great level of spice in a white shoyu broth, pork belly, bean sprouts, mushroom, scallions, and a perfectly cooked, jammy, soft egg. My husband ordered the yellowtail, tuna, sake and hamachi sashimi - which were all fresh, and very good. We will for sure be back!

The ramen is authentic. The rice bowls are authentic. Everything is authentic; but everything is a wee bit on the salty side for our taste. They also impose an 18% tip Amon top of your bill with a party of 6 or more. Great ambience in here and friendly and fast service. Overall, it's a bit pricey. We spent just under a $100 for lunch for only 3 adult meals and 3 kids meals. You can get the same size and quality meal at Paris Bahn Ahmi in Loveland for half the price, just an fyi, and less saltiness.

This place is amazing! The restaurant is stylish, sushi is fresh, and the ramen is delicious! My family and I really enjoy coming here. My dad is very picky and the staff did a great job at explaining the menu options. This place opening in Greeley is a big deal because there aren't a lot of great options.

Ambiance: This restaurant is beautiful inside, I was not expecting it to look the way it does. The art on the walls are all awesome and the chandelier is a definite wow factor. The figurines above the bar were really cool, I've never seen so many figurines! Service: Service was great, we were sat right away and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Our food came out fast and fresh. Food: The food was great, I ordered the shoyu ramen which was delicious I could of had another bowl! My son had the kids chicken katsu and the portions were huge for a kids meal but he loved it. We also tried the spicy pork boa and those were probably my favorite I definitely recommend getting some when you visit! Overall this restaurant is great, they have an amazing selection of food and drinks and everything tastes amazing and the restaurant itself is beautiful. If you are in Greeley I recommend a stop in!!

Yum: Egg Custard Bao, tuna steak appetizer, Nah: Calamari, Tom Yum Ramen Over all yummy, I go specifically for the tuna steak and eat it like sashimi. The Egg custard Bia is lightly sweet and warm, a nice after meal treat w hot tea.

Best Japanese restaurant in town! I'm so glad this open up in Greeley, now i wouldn't have to travel out of town to get good authentic Japanese food! The service was exceptional, couldn't ask for anything better! You must try the sushi and ramen when visiting! The portion is big, The sukiyaki wasn't what i excepted it's not a traditional sukiyaki but it could need some more flavor. They also have a really neat bar area What amazed me was the interior design inside! You'll be welcomed with an amazing chandelier centerpiece. The vibes of the restaurant is fancy. Very clean! Perfect for a date night. This will be my new go to Asian/ Japanese restaurant in Greeley! Been here 4 times since they've opened, i definitely recommend checking this new restaurant out!

Place was clean and looked nice on the inside. The food was not very great. Boiled egg was not very good, noodles were VERY bland and just tasted like boiled water. Broth was not flavorful. And the meat that went inside the dish was unseasoned. Service was good. 2/5 based off the taste of the food.

Great food and great service from the staff. Ordered the karage, gyoza, and yellowtail carpaccio. All fresh and tasted great! Finished with the caterpillar role which was amazing

The Seafood ramen has always been my favorite and has tasted the same for the last 6 to 7 times I've been there. The staff are great and the restaurant always has a warm welcome!

Didn't know how this place would be. Turns out this place was amazing! Not just service but the food too! The atmosphere was so great and just different. We absolutely loved the vibe. Ramen bowls were so delicious! We also got a sushi roll and was so tasty. Highly recommend this place if you want good food in Greeley.

Fabulous food, tailored spice level. Prompt, kind service. The restaurant art and aesthetics added to an enjoyable meal. Our second visit we will be back!

Let's start with the lobster roll, because this thing deserves its own standing ovation. Perfectly chilled lobster, just the right touch of creamy sauce, wrapped up like a little sushi love letter. It's rich without being heavy, and it'll ruin you for any other roll in town. Then there's the spicy ramen, which might be one of the most comforting, soul-recharging bowls you'll find in Greeley. The broth hits you with that warm, savory hug you didn't know you needed, and the spice level is dialed in perfectly - enough to wake up your taste buds but not enough to make you regret life choices. The vibe? Cozy, chill, and just a little fancy without being intimidating. Perfect for a date night, family dinner, or that solo night out where you pretend you're the mysterious main character in an indie film. Bottom line: Daruma is the kind of place you keep coming back to because it just gets it. Go for the lobster roll, stay for the spicy ramen, and thank me later.

The rolls were solid, and the taste was good I would recommend them to anyone. The chicken katsu was done well, the chicken was crispy and the rice was warm and very good as well. It was also served with cabbage and another sauce as well as broccoli and carrot slices. The udon noodles were nice and springy they tasted fresh and the broth was somehow sweet with onions in it. It also came with a piece of shrimp tempura, cucumber, and carrots. I can honestly say that it is one of my favorite udon noodles yet. The broth felt very nice and homemade, would recommend these to anyone! I have had the boba and a few other dishes, and I have never had anything from here that I have not liked!

I would have preferred the hamachi to come with a bit of rice on the side but my boyfriend didn't mind the salad. Izakaya's are Japanese bars that have quick bites and snacks to choose from. I was excited to see we were heading in. Once arrived on Sunday night we were greeted and welcomed. Asked if we would like to take our shoes off and walk in as in Japanese culture this is very common. It really felt like I was in a Japanese izakaya in Japan We ordered - Tofu Steak - Baked Salmon w/ ikura & rice - Duck Skewers - Salmon Carpaccio Everything was delicious and cooked well. I could have ate 2 bowls of the salmon. Everything is nicely sized but a good size to not get too full to order more. Of course we always take the bonito flakes which arrive dancing on top of the food, to wave in the escaping heat of the fresh seafood omelet. They have a roasted barley tea I love that has no caffeine as made without a decaffeinating process and so different than herbals common in Boulder. It has real substance. As we started to eat our pork gyoza and Ebi shumai we saw a lit candle in some food being carried across the room. Having eaten here baby times over the year, we were surprised as we had never seen this here. The entire restaurant broke in singing happy birthday to someone too far for us to see. As a server was passing our table, I mentioned we were celebrating my husband's birthday too. He said meh!d let someone know. As we were waiting for our dessert later, the owner who we've met before , with one of the servers who was carrying an ice cream mochi with a flaming birthday candle arrived and placed it in front of my husband and all the patrons broke out in sing again! Who knew this was a tradition here? The owner, who is almost always on the floor had an instant camera and too a picture of our table with the candle celebration. He made a copy for us to take home and one for nh husband to sign which will go up on some wall I had never noticed. We'll be sure to check in the walk the next time we are in. It's such a fun place with really good food. Do make a reservation these days. It's always busy, the now are only open Wed- Sat for dinner. As we were leaving on a very cold night, there weee people packed into the little entry way waiting for seats. One woman was shivering as she had just flown in from FL she said, unprepared for the recent shift back to winter today. Shocked me this morning too.

I regularly order the Chirashi and Ramen, as well as their negitoro handroll which is genuinely as good as any I've been handed at $200/person omakase experiences. Their ramen broth is super rich, flavorful, and some of the best around, I've tried Uncle, Odd Rabbit, and most of the other spots people recommend and I still find Osaka's to be the best. The price is also relatively reasonable for what you get in Boulder and adding some extra noodles to an order really gives a large satisfying portion. The service is streamlined and efficient with the "call waiter" buttons on the table making for one of the most straightforward dining experiences in Boulder. My only critique is that the timing of sushi bar items and kitchen items can be unharmonious when the sushi bar gets inundated with orders, so just be aware of that when ordering. The desserts and drink options are solid and also make for a very well-rounded dining experience. I love the mont blanc and a draft sapporo. All in all, I recommend Osaka's as the best value Japanese spot in Boulder!
