My husband reached out to our representative at Magnolia. This is what he sent back today. I hope this helps others. We are super pleased with the customer service from Magnolia center at Best Buy in King of Prussia. FYI some of the TVs on the floor or actually connected to the Magnolia system. The sales can be amazing. Stay safe and well everyone. am well, and I hope you and your family are safe and sound as well. "As far as why your TV looks blurry, a lot of streaming companies are limiting bandwidth, which will be different from device to device. If I remember correctly, you have an Apple TV hardwired into your network. The only course of action I can think about is restarting your Apple TV. You can do that by going into Settings and General if I remember correctly. Don't reset it, just restart it. That should clear up things a bit. Also, for applications that allow you to do so, change the video quality to HD or 1080P or whatever the highest available quality is. A lot of applications are forcing the default resolution to 480P to limit bandwidth, which will effect each device differently. The major devices (Apple TV, Roku, Xbox, Playstation, etc) will be the first devices effected I would imagine, since they are the most up-to-date applications. I hope this helps. So, in regard to my previous review, I figured I'd share the owner's response to both me and my…read morepartner. To me, this response avoids taking responsibility or showing much professionalism. It also includes claims that simply aren't true--at no point did we tell anyone to go to our uncle's shop or say he'd do a better job. That never happened. We 100% do NOT have an uncle or bloodline family that has a shop. Weird how he chose to go with that fabricated claim. The guy was Carly's coworkers brother.. I did get a laugh out of the part where he says he's reporting my reviews. Personally, I'd rather they stay up. Let people read both sides and decide for themselves what happened. If you're confident in your version of events, there shouldn't be any issue with people seeing both perspectives. Below is the series of events paraphrase.. My girlfriend and I were in the store while another couple was discussing selling a large reggae record collection. The owner was already talking about other stores and possible buyers for a collection of that size. Since the conversation was already centered around outside options, my girlfriend casually mentioned another local shop that might also be interested. The response was immediate and hostile. Instead of simply saying he preferred competitors not be mentioned in his store, he repeatedly raised his voice, saying it was "unethical" and asking, "How dare you come into my store and try to steal people?" His voice got louder each time. The interaction became so uncomfortable that another customer followed us outside afterward to make sure we were okay. Even the couple involved commented on how strange and over-the-top the reaction was. What makes this especially confusing is that the conversation was already about alternative stores and potential buyers. We're customers, not business owners. Most people wouldn't expect that mentioning another local shop in that context would lead to being publicly yelled at. Needless to say, I won't be returning, and I can't recommend a business that treats customers this way. If you take this review with a grain of salt, that's completely fair--but understand that, in our experience, simply mentioning another local business during a conversation that was already about other shops was enough to earn a public scolding. The photo below includes the owner's response. It conveniently leaves out the fact that we had already been talking with the couple and that multiple outside options had already been discussed before Carly made her suggestion. He's entitled to his version of events, but it doesn't reflect what happened that day. Regardless of the disagreement, I don't believe it's appropriate for a business owner to speak to customers--especially by repeatedly yelling at a young woman--in the way he did.

We have an expensive flat-screen TV that we bought in 2010. It's a Toshiba Regza 46" (cost back then was more than $1000). I love it. The base is better than newer tvs because it's a lot more stable. It finally started getting quirky in 2020. I took it to Coughlin's and they were super attentive and fixed it for about $150 (cheaper than buying a new one). My spouse uses it and wanted something bigger but opted to keep the repaired and working Toshiba as a backup. We sure needed it. Bought an XBR800H Sony 55". I had it on, turned it off for a little while and turned it on but the screen was a light black and power was on. Thank goodness I remembered Coughlin's. Since the Sony is more of a computer than a tv, I didn't know if they'd be able to repair it. $175 a few days later and we have the what was a $600 tv working again. I loathe loathe loathe Sonys. I swore I'd never buy another decades ago. But I forgot ... This time, I told my spouse to remind me not to buy a Sony and I will be reminded if I touch another Sony again. But Coughlin's will be around to fix it when it stops working. I like the shop, the price, the dogs, the employees and the owners. It's funky old and fabulous. Everyone in the shop has been super nice and helpful.

Knowing that most electronics are built with planned obsolescence, and that current similar TVs are much cheaper now than what we paid for ours, we wavered back and forth over trying to get it fixed or just buying a new one. I hate unnecessarily adding to landfills, so we decided to call Coughlin's. They were honest and upfront about everything from the start. They charged us a reasonable fee for pick-up and return, which would be applied towards the price of repair. They weren't able to find a new board for our older TV; Dan said he could try to fix the current board, but that there wasn't a 100% chance of success. Fortunately, they *were* able to fix it and get our HDMI ports working again. Yay! When they returned our TV they made sure that all the HDMI ports were working properly with our setup before they left. Hopefully this has added at least a couple of years to the life of our TV. Dan did say that when this particular set came out it was a top model. And they never tried to sell us a new set instead of trying to fix our old one. I appreciate their honesty and great service. We will definitely go back to them when we do need to finally replace our TV. Thank you!
