This company has gone WAY down hill as far as customer service and respect go. They have flaked on me 3 times now in the past 7 months. No call, no response to text, voice mail ALWAYS full. When people are asked to be home in a 3 hour window and they plan their day around it have some class and let them no that you have no intention of showing up!!! Their service was not great and I still had tons of spiders because they billed me every month and only showed up every 3 months to spray. I've had an issue with spiders, especially some big and scary black widows, like ones that almost fill the palm of my hand . Kalo is the technician that came to do an exterior spraying for my home. I rarely leave a one star review. You really have to be negligent in what you do. Edgar set up appointments twice but canceled them both times. Ok, he had other issues but he did come out the third time and even gave me a reduced rate for his work. I had a hive of angry Africanized bees located under my roof which is a two story house. He supposedly killed them and sealed the entrances to the hive. He also stated he would come back if they came back. Sure enough they came. But Edgar never came back. I called and called and could never reach him. His cell number then stated I couldn't even leave him a message as his mailbox was full. I was then recommended to call Matt from Hive Pro Bee Removal 562-400-8534. He came out as scheduled, looked over what was happening and said he would have to go through my roof to get rid of the hive. He came back a few days later and got rid of everything, the bees, the honey and everything else. He then put roof tiles back in place repaired everything to look new and gave me a multi year guarantee. He was not inexpensive but he spent eight hours doing a perfect job. Do yourself a favor and don't use Bekk use a more professional company. read more

Edgar, the owner of BEKK Pest Control, was very attentive to my situation of reoccurring bees in the roof corner of my building. Edgar was at the property at least three times to check what was necessary to solve the bee problem. We had a different pest control company in the past but was not attentive to prevent the bees from returning, which they did almost a year later. Edgar determined the hive was in the stucco and dusted it and sealed the entry point which should have be done by the first pest control company. They just sprayed the bees....but they did not end the problem. Edgar warned me of the potential problems if Plan A did not work....luckily Plan A worked....crossing fingers....and so far the bees have not returned. Two weeks ago a family member of Bekk's came to our home and spent over an hour going through our home and listening to our pest concerns. He was very knowledgeable and patiently answered all of our questions. He had recommendations which sounded professional and said he would first have to have a written proposal drawn up. He promised the proposal within 6 days. The next week we phoned asking for a proposal. Now, two weeks later, none has yet to arrive and as we are still being besieged by bugs, we have given up on Bekks and phoned another pest control. We are NOT out any money, but two weeks of delay have prolonged our exposure to bug bites. If they were too busy to take on another customer and they told us so, we would understand. Let me just start by saying I've used many pest control companies before but this particular one stands out. Edgar who came to my house to spray for roaches was very professional. He was very thorough with spraying around the house and was there for about 40 min. The next day we noticed the roaches were gone and the services worked. We bought a home last year and after cleaning out the kitchen and rooms we noticed it was filled with all sorts of surprises! mini cockroaches, crickets, spiders, and tons of ants and other things creeping in from outside where they were having a field day. Tried things on our own, but it was just too many kinds of things and too many areas! We called BEKK because they were close by with positive reviews (thanks yelp) and they were so amazing! they came out and tackled the whole property for a really fair price and they guaranteed the work for an extra two months so if we saw more critters we could call them and they would spray again for free. Because our problem was so bad, after the first spray we did see little patches here and there of the bugs trying to survive outside, but we simply called BEKK again and they came with even more targeted treatments as part of the service warranty. It was really great not having to worry about how many times someone would have to come out to fix the problem and keep charging us considering our property is a little large. We now have signed up for their regular visits! they have a bunch of different options to choose from the prices are extremely fair for all of them...and they all to my knowledge have the guarantee were if you see something after the visit they will give you another treatment. So, my wife and I got fed up with ants invading our home every rain. I knew that this was a multiple issue problem and, that I wanted a more permanent solution than just spraying. The spraying got rid of the problem as expected but, as good as any pesticide may be, I'm sure the rains will eventually wash away the pesticide barrier. Well, Edgar not only sprayed the problem area but worked with me to caulk all around the house to fill in all the cracks. I cleared away branches touching the walls but, the caulking was a chore I really appreciated having help. On top of that, bait was laid out to hopefully get the queen and colony and, a rat nest that I dreaded clearing out was cleared. Edgar and BEKK have my faith and confidence. I'm very disappointed. At first Bekk seemed like the pest control company I've been looking for (if there is such a thing!) my requirements are 1) Natural Spray (because of my dogs) 2) Call/Text me the day or night before you are coming with a time (heck even a vague window is fine!) so I can make sure the dogs are in (and also that the yard is poop free for their benefit) or come at the same time every month ex: 1st Wednesday of the month at 11 or whatever. 3) After you tell me when you are showing up, actually show up. Again, I'm pretty flexible ... I just need a heads up and I feel like that is just basic customer service right there. Anyway, here is my experience with Bell. They did natural pest control at a really great price! The first couple of months were great, but then Edgar the owner stopped showing up for the monthly sprayings without any notification and whenever I called it was some excuse. The last time they cancelled on me and were supposed to call to reschedule but they never did. At that point I felt like I was chasing someone down for my business so I stopped texting him reminders to come spray. They have never contacted me since and so obviously they do not want my business which is a shame because I really liked them. read more

The following day we waited again and no show, no call, and would not return my phone call. Now I remember reading other reviews with this same issue of reliability but gave Edgar a chance assuming that there could be more to the story. Customer's should be aware if they are looking for a reliable company that is conscience and values it's customers that possibly this will also happen to them. It is very disappointing that when you support a new company and wish the best for their success, they don't reciprocate that same courtesy to you or have the decency to explain.
