I've been a customer here for years but the past 3 services I've had done here have been patience trying. First incident was an oil change that took an hour and then they got my car stuck in the car wash for over another hour and didn't say anything to me until I found 2 different people and asked. Thought it was a one off didn't think anything of it, but the 1st person I asked to help me had an attitude. There second incident, another oil change... Again took 90 minutes. Service desk people were at least nice this time. This time, great customer service... At first. Was told it would take about 2 hours for all of the service being done so I waited like usual. 2.5 hours go by... No word on my car. 3 hours and I ask the cashier. Said they'd get the service manager... No word. She finally checked for me and told me there was an issue and they're we're almost finished, maybe another 10 minutes. So 4 hours after I walked in I finally have my car. The tub is this is the closest service center to my house but I think I'm willing to drive to Carney or Nerwark from now on. read more

They're telling us it will come UPS. First it was overnight which would have been on Tuesday. When I called on Wednesday are we still were being giving the runaround about when the check was becoming it is now Friday afternoon and we have not yet received the check. What a nightmare and a disaster. Let me start off by saying "DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM" I'm not just saying that because I had a terrible experience, but I don't want anyone to go through what I am going through now. First off, I was looking to purchase a SS Camaro and this dealer had the one that I wanted. I made an appointment on 8/30/2019 to come purchased the vehicle. They wanted too much money down for the car, so they tried to steer me away of getting what I came in there for and purchase a Honda. But nevertheless, they found me another SS Camaro off of one of their other locations that was less money down, but essentially the same car. I sat in the dealership from 11:00am - 9:00pm literally, all trying to buy a car. We went over the Carfax of the Camaro and was told that nothing was wrong with the car, etc. Purchased an extended warranty ($2,700) for the car and GAP as well, which was another price on top of that. I paid them $1,000 down, and basically financed the car for $33,000. The car was delivered to Heritage Honda Bel Air around 8pm, I was told it was a delay in getting the car over due to traffic (which I think was bullshit). When the car arrived, they detailed the car and put the license plates on the car and sent me on my way. When I started the car, it kinda hesitated a little bit, but I didn't think anything of it. I turned off the car and back on twice, and it started completely fine. After I pulled off from the lot, I noticed I needed gas, smh. How do you sell a car with no gas in it? So I had to spend $50 on the way home to fill up a car I literally just purchased an hour ago. I live 1hr and 30 minutes away from the dealer. A few days later, I called the dealer and told them that sometimes when I start my car, it takes about 2 seconds to crank over, I think my battery may be going bad. One of the gentleman told me to bring the car back for they can take a look at it. I didn't wanna drive 1 hr and 30 minutes just for them to tell me that I need a new battery. Over the next 30 days, the car was starting fine as normal, maybe it was just the cold starting of the car. I didn't have any issues with the car until 10/18/19. I went to go get something to eat, when I came back to my car, it wouldn't start. I called my roadside, waited almost two hours for a jumpstart, car started fine for the rest of the day. In the mist of all this, I stopped past Walmart to purchase a new battery and to get the old one tested, Walmart said my current battery is still a good battery, it's only 10 months old. The next morning, my car started fine. I went to work and went to the mall after that, when I went to go leave the mall, that's when it did not crank over and a jumpstart did not help. I assumed my battery was dead so I took the battery out and took it to Pepboy's to have it tested a second time, again, a good battery. I got my car towed back to Heritage Honda, where they were going to charge me $130 for a diagnostic fee to tell me whats wrong with a car they just sold me. They started off by saying my battery is dead, which I knew 100% that it was not the battery. They refused to continue to diagnose the car stating the fact that they said my battery was dead. They wanted to charge me $350 to replace my battery. FUCK NO! I went to Pepboy's, purchased the same exact battery for $170, drove 1hr and 30 minutes there to install it myself, the car still didn't start. I left my car there for they can continue to diagnose the vehicle. Turns out, my starter is bad, two rear tires need to be replaced ($350 each) and rear shocks need to be replaced, which is also NOT covered by the $2,700 warranty they sold to me. Chuck told me it would be $1,000 to replace my starter and that the rear shocks were on backorder. My questions are: 1. WHY AM I FIXING A CAR THAT YOU JUST SOLD ME FOR $33,000? 2. WHY WAS I SOLD A WARRANTY FOR $2,700 THAT DOES NOT COVER ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS? 3. WHY AM I REPLACING THE REAR TIRES AFTER 30 DAYS? 4. WHY AM I REPLACING REAR SHOCKS AFTER 30 DAYS? 5. WHY AM I REPLACING MY CAR'S STARTER AFTER 30 DAYS? They told me my car was inspected before they sold it to me. Where is the inspection report? If my car was inspected, you would have known I needed rear tires and shocks at least, not alone a starter. The inner tire tread is worn down, you only can see it if you bend down and look under the car, or if you jack the car up. The car looked as if it had good tread, but the tires were already going bad when they sold me the car. This is exactly why I was hesitant to even purchase a Camaro from a damn Honda dealer in the first place. They don't know shit about a Camaro. So now, I have a car I financed from this dealership that doesn't work!!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER IN MY FUCKING LIFE PURCHASE A HONDA OR A CAR FROM ANY HERITAGE LOCATION OR MILE ONE AUTO GROUP. read more

I had a great experience buying a car here. Sheila was absolutely phenomenal in getting the price l wanted on the car I was looking at. She stayed in touch with me every step of the way. From when I found the car online to when I showed up on the lot to test drive. She was wonderful! The only issue I had was with the manager who came by when we started asking for a lower price and he was probably the most obnoxious, arrogant person there was on that lot. He was very rude and kept cutting me off when I asked questions and he just kept throwing numbers at us acting like he was giving us a huge deal when he only was knocking off 1-200 dollars off the outrageous asking price for what I was looking at. He made it very clear all he cared for was profit and not customers in the door. (Seeing as how those actual words came out of his mouth) I haven't had service done here yet, but from the scathing reviews so far I'm a little worried. Will definitely update or post a new review when I do visit them tomorrow for a repair on the car for a problem that shouldn't have been a problem in the first place. I will say that communication after selling is horrendous. I've written several emails and called and no one answered or responded. I truly feel comfortable dealing with Donna S. who has worked there since the original owners (Schafer and Strominger) opened it. You decide what you want done for the service. No one will force you to buy more than an oil change if that's all you desire at the time. They only suggest...as a woman, I appreciate not being pressured. Donna goes way beyond good customer service but excels in her position to assure your satisfaction with the experience! Currently own a Honda Civic sport touring, came in to get a wireless charger installed as my iPhone was giving me trouble connecting by wired connection. I was looking for it to be connected to Apple CarPlay through the wireless charger. After speaking with parts/service there was something lost in translation and Apple CarPlay would not work with the wireless charger. Nevertheless, the team here at Heritage Honda (Joe, mike and the service manager) were able to find a suitable solution to accommodate the miscommunication. It is difficult being in the service department and even though it was not what I was expecting, they were willing to listen, accommodate and do what they could to resolve the issue. Before I checked out the Mazda dealership, I was interested in the Honda CR-V and since my wife had a trade-in Honda Civic I thought this would be the best place to procure a vehicle. Well, I was WRONG! Also, a friend referred me to a specific sales rep, my friend stated, he will get you the "best deal", which was WRONG! First off, I was intrested in a CRV EX-L, which had no back up camera, no blutooth capability so I thought I could get a fair price. The intial offer was a joke, they low balled my trade-in, and the offer for the CR-V was not what I was looking for. I told them specifically "Hey this is what I am looking to pay and yet Bel Air Honda didn't want to meet me even half way" we were about 4K apart on the cost of the vehicle. Now here comes the Sales trick, "Oh lets send the Sales Manager over to close the books" So the Sales Manager comes over to try to relate to me on a personal level, like we are friends. SORRY sir, I am not at the dealership to make friends, what am I 'FACEBOOK lol" I am here to BUY a CAR! As the Sales Manager sat at the computer pretending to find better numbers, which I knew he wasn't doing, he stated to me, "Your numbers are impossible to come close to" I researched the CR-V and I knew what it was worth and how much I was going to offer. As a former worker of the retail business, at least try to negotiate with the customer, after all your JOB IS TO SALE, which he was not willing to do. The Sales Manager who is supposed to close the books on a deal actually made me walk out. After I left, I got a phone call which is protocol, the rep states "I know we offered you the best price, and let me know what other places offer you" DUDE if you offered the best price I would being driving home in a 2011 Honda CR-V! lol If customers are ok with paying what the dealership wants you to pay, please procure a vehicle at this location. I am more likely to post complaints than praise but I had to post here. I purchased a Civic Hatcback from Ed Svidunovich here. When he tells you he cares about you he is not joking. The first time he said it I was thinking yea yea sales guy but before, during and after sales this dude follows up more than anyone I've ever bought a car from. Actually I've never had anybody else ever follow up on anything let alone help with any issues that I have had. Ed literally goes above and beyond. Peter Ikotun was also the friendliest and most straightforward finance guy I've ever worked with. He laid out my options and didn't try to over sell me on things I was not interested in. Though thanks to Baltimore roads I did email him later lamenting that maybe I should have taken his tire and wheel protection after all. haha The experience with these guys was such a positive one that it helped me pull the trigger early and I came back and upgraded my wife's Odyssey to the 2018 one, and I was kind of hoping she'd stop playing with my new car but it didn't work. I scheduled an appointment for a simple oil change for 4 pm. Upon arrival I'm told that unfortunately they will not be able to service my vehicle because they are booked. FireStone employees we're outside hanging out smoking cigarettes, not working. They were working on one vehicle but I am told that they cannot service my vehicle, The first issue is I made an appointment this was not a walk in service. The second issue is there was only one vehicle being serviced by four employees. So I don't understand why they allowed me to book an appointment and then tell me that I cannot receive service. Took my 2008 Honda Fit in because something was stuck in my blower. Took them about 20 mins to work on it and said they just removed the glove box and thing stuck in my fan. This was a charge of $110, to basically remove my glove box..... I understand this still involved "work" and they obviously should get paid but $110???!?!?!?!? But honestly you come tell from the start it was something stuck in there yet they said they needed to hook my car up to a computer to test it?? Ridiculous. You could tell even the cashier and dealers who helped me out felt guilty for charging me. Cashier said if I had any other issues to bring it back right away for that type of price. Dealers asked me to rate them on some website, as if they give any type of helpful service to me at all. Oh and trust me I'm writing them a reviews right after this. I personally will NEVER EVER EVER go there again. I also asked them to put air in my tires because my light was on. They FORGOT and I had to remind them to do this as I was leaving. I mean honestly something this simple job of $110 they couldn't remember to put air in my tires??? The whole situation was terrible and I was never compensated for anything. Like I said I understand they need to get paid and I didn't mind paying for the service but $110??????? BOTTOM LINE= I WAS A NEW CUSTOMER if they would have cut me a deal since the task was extremely simple, maybe charged me $70 I would have been happy. We bought a Honda van and they gave us one key and a "valet" key that has limited functionality. The sales manager called and asked if we were satisfied and I told him no, that we expected two keys. He replied that they gave us two keys and that was their policy; however, a valet key has no remote capabilities. Long story short, they refused to give us another key, after spending over $9,000. They told us they would give us another key for $150, which what anyone else would charge you for it. Furthermore, we had to shampoo the carpets and finish waxing the car. This is our 10th Honda, but we will never buy another from these guys! They say they want you to be satisfied only if it means it doesn't cost them any money or additional effort... read more

My vehicle has been with Honda for several days now to have the entertainment system replaced; our odessey is only a few months old and we have had issues with it ever since. After the dealership having my car a full day and leaving me at home car-less with a toddler and being 9.5 months pregnant, I had to call several times to even get an answer on what was going on with the vehicle. I also had to be picked up in my vehicle and drive the employee back to the dealership before an OB appt that I was already late for since they kept the car for so long. After learning that I had to bring it back in two weeks later (which I had to call For the status on once again to learn when the part would be in) a replacement system was in stock, they issued me a Honda Accord which does not comfortably fit two car seats and we once again had to call several times to get a status on our vehicle which has taken longer than they suggested since the part was ordered in the wrong color and no one follows up with their customers. I went to Bel Air Honda's repair center for some maintenance on my Honda Insight. I scheduled an appointment through their website. I entered in the information including the model, mileage, and services needed. It quoted me a price of $500 total. I went to the appointment, gave them the exact same information I provided though the website. No additional services were requested. They charged me over $1000. The only explanations they gave me were that their "prices may vary," and the vehicle was a hybrid. But they already knew my vehicle was a hybrid when I entered the same information into the website. Car buying process was a breeze!!! Sheila is amazing!!!! But, when it comes to the service department it's a total opposite. I brought my vehicle in for rail dust which was covered under warranty. I literally show the service manager exactly where it is on the vehicle and he says no problem. We'll have a guy look from another location come up tomorrow and get you an estimate. I get a call from this guy saying that Ive got your vehicle at the Parkville location at around 1:00pm.This clown never called me and at least asked permission to drive my vehicle to a totally different location. I really try to avoid negative reviews, but Bel Air Honda has been a two year nightmare from sales through to service. I bought a used 2014 Civic with 40,000 miles on it in February 2017. I love Hondas. They usually run forever. I didn't get rid of my 2002 Accord until it had over 200,000 miles. This car had a factory defect, and it was in the shop more than it was in my possession the first three months. I brought the car in for regular oil changes, tire rotations, and tune ups. Their Service Department is only concerned with upselling you into some extra service. I never left there spending less than $400. The car was well taken care of and received regular maintenance. Fast forward to this past summer. The car, which now has a little over 80,000 miles, was making a rattling sound. When I brought it in twice, I was told there was nothing wrong with it that they could find. Several weeks ago, I get a call from sales telling me they could put me in a new car for about what I was paying for my used car. Don't believe it. They'll say whatever they need to in order to get you in the door. While I was test driving a new car, they took my Civic back into Service to evaluate it for trade in. I told them about the rattling sound that I reported months ago. When we got back from a test drive, they told me that my car needed a new water pump and tensioner. This was determined solely on the sounds the car was making. As a result, they told me my car wasn't worth anything on a trade in. To get a car for about what I'm paying, I needed over $5,000 to put down. It was the exact same sound it made over the summer when they said nothing was wrong. They will only take the time to diagnose an issue when it benefits them. Then they wanted to charge me over $1,000 for a repair that costs $450 everywhere else. I am completely out on Bel Air Honda and will be taking my business elsewhere. I got stuck with a lemon, that I have no choice but to keep dumping money into for the immediate future because I won't get anything on a trade. I was recently looking for a particular model/trim combination that is tough to find. I reached out to several dealers via their websites asking if they had the car in stock and what their best price would be and let them know I would buy within 24 hours. Of all the dealerships, this is the only one I felt was jerking me around. They wouldn't provide a quote because I hadn't given a phone number (what? it's called an ePrice for a reason), they asked to see a copy of a quote I had gotten from another dealer, and they were generally evasive. Every communication ended with "when can you come in" but all sidestepped the question about price. I get it -you want me to visit the dealership so I can spend three hours haggling over price until you finally wear me down and I overpay just so I can get on with my life. The salesman had confirmed that they had the car i was looking for in stock, but when they would not offer a price I began to wonder if it was already sold and that they were lining me up for a bait-and-switch. The next day I emailed the general manager and explained the situation and asked if he could confirm the car's availability and provide a firm price. About 30 minutes later I heard from the salesman I had been dealing with letting me know that the car was sold at 8:30 that very morning (a miracle, as they open at 10 am) but that he can sell me one of the cars they have on order...for a price that is only $1,000 higher than what I received from two other dealers. Side note - their website has a chat function which I tried using to secure the GM's email address. I was told by the person on the other end that the GM's contact information is not in his directory but that I should call the sales department. I asked if he could find the GM's email address for me, but he said that he could not because he is located in another building. Really??? Overall, my take is that they were trying to bait me in to the dealership by falsely stating that they still had the car. I had a feeling that if I had shown up they would have given me the old "terribly sorry...it still shows on our books but somehow it got sold/traded/stolen just yesterday. Let us make it up to you by selling you this other car". In the end, I am glad they did not have the car...even though the one they had listed on their website was the color I wanted. As another reviewer mentioned, these folks are clowns! A few years ago when I was searching for a new Accord, I visited all of the local Honda dealerships sites. Stumbled across the Accord with the features that I needed in order to purchase, on their site. Called and made an appointment to see it, and hopefully purchase that day. Geico had totaled out my car a few days prior and had requested that I return the rental soon. So, I had to buy a new car soon or be SOL with no car. Mind you, I've purchased two Hondas previously. So, I'm very loyal to their brand. Entered the dealership and found the salesperson that I spoke to on the phone. This joker had the nerve to tell me that another salesperson took the car to DC for another person to see it. Blatant lie. Who the hell takes a car to another city for someone to view it?!? No apology, no sorry for the inconvenience, no do you want to see another car...nothing. He asked if I wanted to wait for a few hours until he got back. Are you stupid?!? I left work early and drove from work in Baltimore City. Hell no, I don't want to wait a few hours. I walked out. Another Honda dealership that I'll never refer anyone to, nor visit again.
