Had a slow leak a few weeks ago. They fixed my tire in just a few minutes. I was also looking for a price to replace all four tires. Great price and the service writer told me that a sale would be starting in a few weeks so I could save more $! When I came in for my tires, I asked them to check the brakes. They did and told me that they had some life left in them. Appreciate them not trying to get me to do unnecessary work. I had been told by the dealer ( had a recall to have fixed) back in the winter that I needed all new rotors and pads plus so much more. Obviously the dealer was doing the usual scam to get a woman to think she needs extra work! Thank heaven for this firestone dealer. The staff are so nice, pleasant and honest! Friendly staff, quick service, and booking an appointment is a breeze. Came here on 10/29/17 for a 60K mile service on my VW Jetta. Sam at the front desk was very friendly and she explained the manufacturer's recommended services to me. My appointment was at 8 and I was out of there by 9:30 or so. They let me turn on Nickelodeon for my daughter too, so that was a plus. read more

Very happy with the service I had at this center. I needed my headlight lamps replaced and they did it very well and then they did a thorough check of my brakes and other things on my car they found that my battery was low which it was so I had it replaced. They did not try to sell me things I did not need, which I appreciate. They told me the honest situation about my brakes, that they would be due soon but are not ready quite yet. They were extremely friendly and helpful and the waiting area is nice. I'll definitely be back. It's also nice that they are open on weekends for those of us that work during the week. read more

I was blown away by the service at Firestone! I got a complete car inspection for a used car that I was considering buying and Blair was patient in helping me to understand the car and the condition it was in. He also gave me pointers for things I could negotiate on when I went back to the dealership. His help made me feel so much more comfortable handling the car buying process alone. The staff here are beyond nice, so it pains me to give them a less than 5 review. Here is the issue. I have a fleet car, which means I can pick where I take it for oil changes and other maintenance. Like tires. I drive a lot for work. If I put less than 5K on my car a month, that is an exception. When my get-yer-oil-change light goes on, I hit their website to schedule an appointment. Confession time. I am a Christian. But having to sit through the 700 Club on their TV is torture. Yeah, I get it, you are evangelical, so am I. But having Pat Roberson shame you the entire time I am trapped in your waiting area, ugh. I digress. Since my Honda seems to have a perpetual tire pressure warning light malfunction, I asked the geniuses at this location to make sure my tires were ok and the light was turned off, Ummmm, not. As I got down the road, the light came on. I pulled over and checked the tires, they all seemed to be full. But now I am paranoid. Did I run over a nail? Do I have a slow leak? When I got to work and called them to say I had specifically asked that this be fixed, the responses was to hold down the skidding tire button on my dash while I was driving over 55 MPH and it would fix itself. I didn't. So the next time I needed service I went elsewhere. Everything was cool and that warning light was finally turned off. This week I decided to get my oil changed at this dingle-brained location. Yup, you guessed it, the damn tire gauge light is back on. That was the last time I use them to do anything to my car. The sad irony is that they are a TIRE company that also changes oil, and yet, the one thing they screw up consistently relates to tires. Who knows how bad they have messed up my car's fluids. read more

Made an appointment a week in advance for specific work, including cost, to be done. Dropped the vehicle at appointment time, and discussed again what work to be done and cost. Service called me to say my vehicle was ready, but only mentioned part of the work. I asked about the other work...Not done.. they could not get the parts until next week. Why wouldn't have ensured they had the parts on hand for the appointment? What is the point of an appointment if they are not going to do the work? read more

It could have been 4-5 stars if not charging for "shop supplies" on a car alignment. Why should 50c or whatever of lubrication cost $5-7 more on a $90 alignment?!?! I realize many auto repair places want to pad the bill in this manner, but it's plain wrong and a practice which needs to stop. The staff was nice and the communication was good though. What's next, you dentist charging you extra for the polishing compound when they polish your teeth, adding an extra $5-7 for "shop supplies?" Shop supplies should be included in the bill, not added on as a hidden weasel fee. read more

The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the jobs are pricey. ~$460 for oil change, engine diagnostic (checking engine light), brake pad change, and rotor change. However, the front-desk employees were amazing and were able to explain all my maintenance and car issues in clear terms. They took the time to explain everything thoroughly, and didn't charge me the labor fee when they couldn't pinpoint the issue as to why my back windshield wiper wasn't working. BEWARE! Their warranty requires tire rotation every 5,000 miles with proof and the real kicker is one will have to have the vehicle aligned once a year with proof. Otherwise you're buying new tires. Mine went bad in 20,000 miles. Maybe some people align every year, I don't know of any. read more

I purchased tires for my Jetta online and had them drop shipped to Firestone. I called to see if the tires were shipped. The manager stated they were there, but he was short on staff and wouldn't be able to get to it that day. The next day I took my wheels off my car and went there for them to remove the old tires and install the new ones. He was still short on staff, but assured me that they would be installed by the end of the day. I got a call from the manager about 4 hours later stating they were done. I went to pick them up and there was no damage to the wheels due to installation and they looked great. I'd recommend them for tire installation. read more

Being a young female , I felt as if they thought they could get one over one me ! They were wrong! I took my vehicle there for inspection , they gave me a quote for almost $3000. Which is absolutely ridiculous ! I did all the work they quoted me for under $600. I took it back to get it written off , and they proceeded to give me a new list. I asked them where the power steering lines were leaking and he said the clamp was busted , I said okay then I replace that , they said yes. I then asked okay then the lines aren't leaking I just need a new clamp and he went silent. I took it to another shop and they said everything they gave me was bullshit (excuse my language) and they inspected it and told me I needed mud flaps due to the lift , where firestone was trying to get me to pay them to take my lift off. They are the worst company and I will not go back as well as I will be reporting them for what they did with the inspection as they should lose their license ! I highly advise anyone to go else where read more

Don't expect to get your tire repaired here! I went to Firestone Service Center in Bel Air MD to have a screw in my tire repaired (no air leaking). The service person took a quick look and said the screw was in a repairable position in the tire but the screw head made it look like the hole would be more than 1/4 inch and it is not repairable. They would sell me a new tire. I explained I just wanted it plugged or patched and I would not be buying a new tire (plenty of tread life left). They said their policy prevents them from fixing tires when the hole is too large. They did not say it could be a large headed screw and the shaft may be small and therefore the hole would be repairable. I said I would go elsewhere. Luckily, they did not take it into the shop to remove the screw and then tell me it was not repairable. Since it was not losing air, I drove the car down the street to another repair shop and they repaired my tire (****the shaft of the screw was small and the head was large***). A month later another Firestone store declined to repair a nail in one of my tires due to "corporate policy" (tire's tread depth was too low).  Both were fixed at other repair shops.  Clearly, they want to sell tires not repair them. My recommendation, don't go to Firestone to ask for a tire repair.  Based on this poor service, I will not be buying Firestone/Bridgestone tires again. read more
