A man with high integrity who did everything he could to help me out. He did his best to get my car started in an effort to avoid the tow but the ignition coil relay was toast and so i needed the tow. As i had just come off a double shift working 17 hours,Joe took care of everything and let pay later so i could get some sleep. Greatly appreciated by me. If you need a tow and do not use Ma-Boo's you will be doing yourself a disservice. Can't recommend Joe highly enough. Tony Lotman

When I saw that someone had ripped down the left side of my car in a parking lot, I was, um,…read moredisheartened. She came back to her car and we gave the police officer our info and got an accident report. Brian, a friend, had suggested ACC near BelAir MD, saying had had some work done there and it was excellent. OK they're a bit farther away than I'd like, but after I got my estimate and check from the other driver's insurance company (Geico) I headed out. ACC people couldn't have been nicer. Karis took care of me and guided me through the process, even contacting Enterprise for my rental. I was told it would take 7 days to do the work. I left with the rental and got a call on the 7th (working) day that the car was ready. It had been snowing that day and the TV stations were saying, if you don't have to go out, don't! I didn't. I drove up the next morning, topped off the rental tank, and dropped it at ACC, Karis said they would contact Enterprise. I didn't have to. Excellent! I got a call from Enterprise later that day saying they had the car and everything was OK. My only kink with them was in picking up the rental, I had to wait about an hour because they didn't have any cars at the location. Not a big deal, but I would have thought they would. Geico (her insurance) , btw, couldn't have been nicer on the phone throughout the whole thing and even emailed their estimate documents to ACC, so I didn't have to forward mine. ACC wanted them in advance so they could order any parts needed. I don't have a fax machine any more and that would have meant I needed to scan in about 8-9 pages and send them by email. When I called my contact at the local geico shop, he forwarded that to me and to them. I called ACC to make sure they received the info and was told they had not. I asked Bob to check his spam folder, and there they were. A special nod to Kim, the owner, for how clean the shop is and the designer furniture for clients to sit on. :) Attention to detail!

The part that bothers me is the watery soap from the foaming brush. It's almost as if they do they to make you have to wash the car 2x. It's like a money grab. The heads on the brushes are small and circular. It's definitely some scam type activities from whoever owns or run this place. It's ways to just make you spend as much as possible while not really providing anything except a quick rinse off. I went here maybe 2x when I lived in Towson and stopped and started traveling all the way back to Dundalk to go to my old carwash simply because it's a better carwash and you get more than what you pay for. Be careful with those coins because I've had machines take my money and I couldn't do anything about it because there's no employees there.

You can also get a membership but personally don't wash my car more than once ish a month so not worth it for me. Was pretty quick too, about maybe 5-10 min. There was a line but it moved. Only complain would be I wish they had a better system for drying off the car. As I was leaving water was kept falling onto my windshield and my mirrors and all were still pretty wet. First time here so maybe they had something extra I could've done but will probably bring my own towels next time. Overall very pleased!

Like everybody, I waited patiently in your thimble-sized office, navigated your comically undersized lot, and quietly appreciated the humor of your staff through the years. Thank you for that. So why today was I met by two new faces at the service desk with such a strikingly different attitude? I was surprised to hear oil changes require advance appointments, and you now prefer online. I mean, sure, I can do that. But when did that change? And why was a technician I've never seen before so condescending about it? He was downright hostile. Then the other guy chimed in and accused me of interrupting him. Honestly, gentlemen, I asked myself, "Is it worth it to schedule an appointment with you, if I know it's going to be you calling me to tell me any additional work that may need to be done? Do I trust the two of you?" The answer in that split-second moment was no. The arrogance, sarcasm, and belittling behavior by this pair made me realize I wouldn't trust these two to be the communicators of my mechanic shop. When I asked where the two old guys went, Kyle said with a smirk, "They went where all old guys go." Um, did they die? No, they retired, thankfully. Old guys from the desk, you are missed by your customers! Maybe it's the same great mechanics working behind closed bay doors at Hollenshade's, I don't know. Two guys I've never seen before told me things about how the business works that I've never heard before and treated me in a way no one at Hollenshades ever treated me before. Which leads me to the conclusion that this is not the same Hollenshade's I've trusted for over 20 years. I'm genuinely disappointed that I need to find a new mechanic. I honestly don't know what's happening at Hollenshade's anymore.
