Came into the Tire Center and was able to right away meet the new Store Manager(Ryan) who is knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. He asked what service was needed explained a noise was coming from somewhere sounding to be near the right front tire. He assigned to (Brandon) who immediately took it out for a test drive giving insight afterwards the front brakes were worn down. He immediately began the work himself even though he is the Assistant Manager it didn't seem to bother him one bit. He worked quick to remove and replace them. It was such amazing timely, beneficial, and customer oriented service that was provided. 1. Do not honor appointments because I was told by the service writer the website does not take into consideration current workload at the store. 2. They open at 7:30AM during the week, but they do not have a tire tech come in until 10 AM. 3. They do not know how to use an air gauge or replace valve caps on valve stems. The tire they repaired on my auto had 48psi cold pressure after they repaired it. 4. Took me 2 trips to this location. After dropping my car off the first time, the "tech" decided I didn't need any work when the front tires obviously had more wear on the tread than the back tires. Oh, and the tire still had a leak. Makes me think my service request was ignored. No Confidence None at all. The lack of professionalism and tire knowledge is astounding! To the point that you have to blame company management for letting these examples go on and on. I'll pay a good mechanic more money somewhere else. read more

I bought my complete set of tires from this location a couple of years ago. I am supposed to be able to schedule a free rotation and balance. I just called to make an appointment and was told they do not have any technicians available. When I tried to clarify their statement, I was told they "are interviewing". I was told I could take my car to one of their other locations. I told the person answering the phone, that the other locations had worse reviews than them. Why would I take it there? On previous visits I have had problems with them over inflating my tire and also telling me that my car had a "leak" that they found when they performed their "complimentary inspection" that I did not agree to. On that occasion, I had just had my car at the dealer for a routine service appointment and no leak was found. As a result of the "new leak" Mr. Tire discovered, I took the car back to the dealer and again no leak was found. I just don't have much confidence in this business any longer. Left my car with them for an afternoon to change tires. When I picked it up, it smelled of MARIJUANA inside my family vehicle. They acknowledged they smelled it too, but did not accept responsibility and acted as if they had no idea why it was like that. Management did nothing except cover the smell with deoderizer. I brought my car in because I was hearing a scraping noise when braking. The tech checked it out and advised that my rear brake pads could use a replacement. So I scheduled an appointment and dropped my car off a couple days later. When I went to pick my car up I was told that no work was done because my brakes were "fine", and they didn't know where the noise was coming from so I should take it to the dealership. Well I took it to the dealership, and guess what? My rear brake pads are almost non-existent, grinding metal on metal, and I need new pads and rotors. Absolutely unbelievable that I scheduled an appointment for brake pads and they just decided not to do them. read more

BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS!!!!!! On 3/18/23 took my 2014 Nissan Sentra to this location because when I parked my car I saw there where there was a leak near the back passenger side near the tire and sometimes I would smell gas. They inspected the car and said that I need back brakes (shoes/drums) and during the inspection they said my serpentine belt was badly worn so they recommended to have that replaced immediately before it put me down. They didn't see a gas leak but the recommended that I could bring it back and they could pull the tank for a thorough inspection. I also had an oil change. My bill totaled $896.84. On 11/3/23 took my car to the Mr. Tire on Belair S. Parkway, Belair, MD due to loud noise coming from underneath. I thought a possible muffler replacement but John told me that I just needed a clamp to clamp together the pipe and the muffler. However, while he was inspecting he noticed that my back brakes needed to be replaced and that was something he felt that needed immediate attention because it was a safety issue. He had a list of other items that he recommended replacement (tie rod ends cv shaft, struts shocks) which would have been an additional $3556.53. I told him that I thought my back brakes had already been replaced not too long ago. However I didn't have that paperwork on me because I wasn't expecting that but when I came home i found my prior receipt. I had them change the oil again. This time my bill was $1318.41 The car was only driven 5474 miles between the two services. There is no way I needed to have brakes replaced again. It's obvious they are not being truthful. I went to this location in July 2019 and paid for an oil change. I was also told that everything looked great (I'm hard on my brakes so I was surprised). So about a week later I braked hard and my brakes went out on the highway. I had it towed to another mechanic and they told me I needed new brakes, rotors AND an oil change because my oil was filthy. The mechanic showed me the Jiffy Lube filter (which was from 2 oil changes ago) that he removed from my car. I had only put on 110 miles from when i was at Mr. Tire to having my car towed to this other mechanic so clearly my oil was never changed at Mr. Tire in July. I'm curious as to what I paid for since I did pay for an oil change. I'm also very lucky that I didn't get into an accident due to the neglect of the Mr. Tire employees. I won't be returning and I have always been a very loyal customer of this location. I've taken my car here for 10 years for brakes and other maintenance. read more

If i could put less than a star I would. (Fallston Location) Took my car in to have some tires replaced and have an alignment check done. Dropped off at 1pm and never received a phone call saying it was done. I had to call the next morning. I asked if the alignment was good, knowing good well it wasn't because of the tire wear. They said it was good. When asked for the paperwork showing the results they said their printer was broken. I took it to another Mr. Tire (Bel Air on Baltimore Pike) who was more than courtesy and professional. They did the alignment check and showed me the paperwork showing the alignment was way out especially in the toe which is how my tires wore out. The service before this one, they backed my van into the garage door and took off the spoiler. So easy to say I will not go back to this location again. read more

We came here after my car got an unexpected flat tire a couple of miles up the road. They were friendly, fast, and reasonably priced. The waiting room isn't anything fancy, and maybe it could use a couch, but it was comfortable enough. The entire place, including the bathroom, was very clean, which I think speaks volume of their attention to detail and caring about customer perception. I was met met by some surly person at he desk. He informed me they were busy and would not assist me. I said I bought the tires here. He replied that it doesn't make a difference. HORRIBLE SERVICE! I've used this Mr. Tire a few times over the years and particularly twice for tires. Never really had much of an issue and they did well on price matching. Over the summer I made an APPOINTMENT for an oil change and took my vehicle in, I was told it should be "about an hour". I left and came back in 55 mins, my vehicle had not even been touched yet. I went inside, no one was at the seat and no one was in the shop for that matter. I waited for an additional 20 mins and someone finally emerged. I asked what was the deal and I was told that they were running behind because they only had one mechanic on duty (on a Saturday, one of the busiest day for oil changes, they only had one mechanic) and he was in the bathroom because he ate something bad... I couldn't believe what I was being told, not to mention the person that was telling all this was extremely unprofessional and really could care less. He dismissed it like it wasn't his problem to deal with. I called the general manager the next day and explained the situation and my extreme dissatisfaction. He listened and told me it was hard to find good mechanics, I said that not the customers problem and they need to stop taking customers if they don't have the staff to service them. He said, "what can I do?", it seems the entire staff there doesn't care about the shop, it's not their problem. Fast forward a few months and I got a nail in my tire. I figured I'd try them again hoping that something may have gotten better so I'd let them patch my tire. I call ahead and asked if they had time to patch the tire, I was told "yes, bring it it". When I showed up it was the same guy behind the desk from the last time. I knew I was in trouble then... I told him why I was there, he said it would be about 45 mins, he only had one mechanic and he was working on a set of tires. I said ok and waited. After 40 mins he came out and said I haven't even started on your car, the mechanic is having a problem with an alignment. I took my keys and left, never to return. I'm not sure if Mr. Tire is a franchise or all owned by the same company but I know I will never use them again. Absolutely horrible customer service and no accountability for anything. P.S. My neighbor went for tires last year and they scratched 2 of the rims on his wife's car. Not minor but real nasty looking scratches. They admitted they screwed up and paid for the rims to be repaired. read more

I was able to make an appointment same day to find out why my tire was slowly leaking and repair the cover under my engine which had come unsecured and was dragging on the road. They were able to identify the issue quickly with my tire. They also were able to remove the cover that kept coming down and dragging under my car at no cost. I ended up getting my tire replaced elsewhere because of a warranty I had when they were purchased. But the guy was super nice and helpful and I would definitely come back. read more

The staff here was truly a great crew. They helped me out when I was in a pickle with my car when travelling back to PA. My front bumper fascia fell off after a concrete parking curb getting stuck underneath. I popped the bead on a tire while off-roading and gouged part of the sidewall. I had the front desk staff take a look to see if it was still roadworthy, fully expecting to be told to buy a new tire. Instead I was assured the tire was fine AND they rebeaded the tire for me at no cost. They could have easily suckered me into buying new tires but instead they proved that they are honest and trustworthy. Absolutely will return when it's time for new tires. read more

I'm not sure what changed at this location but they'll never see another dime from me. About a month ago my 79 yr old Mother needed her tires rotated and balanced. She was told that her (6 yr old 15,000 total miles) Goodyear tires were worn and dry rotted to the point that they needed to be replaced NOW to avoid a dangerous failure. I inspected them and found no issues. I'm no tire expert so she took it to Pep Boys for a second opinion. They told her the tires looked all but brand new. After waking up to a flat tire on a day that I had multiple appointments to attend, I was sure that my day was a complete wash. I recently moved to the area so my go-to auto shop would have cost hundreds of dollars in towing alone. I have used mr Tire before so I called first thing to see if they could assist. I was able to arrange towing and since this location is only a few miles there was no added fee. The staff was professional and courteous even though I was a walk-in appointment and they were short-staffed on this day. They were able to replace my tire and re-align everything in less than 2 hours. The cost was significantly lower than similar establishments (a local dealership couldn't even accommodate a walk in appointment until the following week!). My son took his Subaru wrx in because the car was pulling to the right. The tech. said it needed an inner tie rod. They wanted almost $100 so my son said can I get the part and you put it in they agreed. They told my son that evening it will be ready the next day which it was not. They said it would be ready the next day . They went to pick it up and the tech said he redlined the car a could drive it with two fingers . My sons father took it for a drive and it still was pulling to the right the same as when it was brought in. They were going to charge $206 and when we asked for a refund they said they will refund the alignment . Diagnosed it wrong since it is still doing the same thing . Then they let their HOTROD tech Dan redline my sons car. I had an alignment done about 18 months ago on my van and on my way home it was still not aligned!!! BEWARE ! read more
