Bought a roll and lock tonneau cover, also added the stainless steps on both side. Price was very fair. These guys really know their stuff, and thier shop has little working models of many different truck bed options. This is super helpful if you are on the fence about which top to get. I found them through Yelp and the Century shell website, I ordered my shell with the intention of having it on before I went on a fishing trip in early October, which was in the six week delivery time from the manufacturer. I was helped by Jeff and he was great. As much six week delivery was getting closed I called on the statues of the shell and Jeff said he would let me know. He contacted the manufacturer who stated that due to covid they were behind a few weeks. Jeff immediately apologize for the for the delay that wasn't his fault at all. I finally got my shell installed today and I could not be happier with it, color match is spot on and it looks great. I did not have much contact with Ron, during this process, but he was very nice and as I observe him with several other customers he was very nice. What a pleasant experience I had purchasing my Pendaliner from Bel-Air Shells!! When you first walk in, you definitely get the nostalgic and practically extinct, feeling of a "mom and pop shop" Upon entering their offices, Jeff immediately greeted me, with a warmth and comfortability of a long-time friend. He was polite, courteous and very knowledgeable about his products. I expressed my interest in a Pendaliner and he was more than happy to assist. While we were talking, he even showed me their stock for my F150. I was pleased to see that they store their Bedliners in a dark and protected storage facility (keeps the dust at a minimum and doesn't fade the product). I saw an ad on Craigslist for some used shells, one of which was pretty close to the size I needed, so I figured I would stop in and see if it would work. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by JEFF. I was warmly welcomed and he was more than helpful. Unfortunately the perspective shell was not the match I had been hoping for, but Jeff's wealth of knowledge made the trip well worth the while. I've been searching for a shell for a truck that was only made for a few years, and despite my attempts to research other trucks with the same bed dimensions, I had been unable to find any others to match, that is until I spoke with Jeff. He let me know that the same truck, but in an extended cab, which was made for close to 20 years, had the exact same bed size, and thus the same shells would be compatible. This expanded my options yen fold and now I am confidant it won't be long until I find the perfect shell. I ordered a full package shell with bedrug for my 2002 tacoma the second week of October and I finally got it installed dec 4th. They let me know it would be 2 1/2 to 3 weeks for install which would have been perfect timing but it kept getting delayed. 3 weeks in I call him and he apologized and said their was a delay and it would be just 2-3 more days and he would call me. I call him again and he told me it would be 2 more weeks! Now it will be the first week of December. There was a door a delay, a thanksgiving delay and then an east coast storm delay (where the rear door was coming from) 2.5 weeks was turning in to 6 weeks so Jeff offered a discount on the order. This was a long wait but the install went quickly and without a hitch and Jeff turned it around in the end. I give the place a mixed review due to some communication problems and the delays but overall it's a stand up place and the shell looks and fits great. read more

What a relief. I have been searching all over the place to find a camper shell for my new truck. And I've dealt with many shady characters in that process. most of them are worse than your stereo typical used car salesman multiple lies false information and overpriced items. I found Bel Air shells online and called them, Jeff answered the phone and I explained that I would be running late but should be there right before their closing time. His response was no problem he will be there even a little after if I didn't get there in time. I gave him my truck info and he let me know what shells fit my truck (which is not many considering it's a long bed Dodge duly crew cab) all the features and benefits of each one and what his recommendation was for my truck. He even went out of his way to show me additional features that I might be interested in to make sure that we got the correct shell for my needs. After dealing with all of their competitors it was a relief to deal with someone who genuinely wanted to get me taken care of and was appreciative of my business. I can say that is not the norm for this industry based on my experience. As a sidenote while I was there there was another older lady there that was having some issues with the shell on her truck. it was not a shallow purchased from them but the staff there went above and beyond out of their way to make sure this lady got taken care of. Kudos to them. Customer service like I witnessed today is very rare in today's market and should be applauded. From now on they will have all of my business and all of my family and friends I will refer to them. read more

The hydraulic strut thingys on my shell that hold up the glass door while it's open were totally worn out and wouldn't even hold the glass door up anymore. I went to Bel-Air Shells to get them replaced. They had what I needed in stock, swapped out the old parts for new ones in about 15 minutes, and didn't over-charge for it. 7 years ago I bought a tonneau top for my 05 Tacoma. Great price and service. It fit great. Never had an issue. Recently wrecked that one. Bought a 2015 dual cab tacoma. I've been wanting a lockable 3 fold bed cover for my F150 Lariat, when my tax returns came, I called Bel Air Shells. Jeff recommended a bed cover made by Flex. I also wanted side step rails. Jeff put a fair package together and I bought the two. I couldn't be happier with my Flex top. Now, I can lock my tools inside my truck bed or whatever I want locked inside. It folds back and stays up with each fold. Water tight. I also get 5" wide side stainless steel side step rails put on..I thought the 3" would be too narrow. The rails look very nice and I'm very happy with my Flex cover. Jeff was friendly and professional. Actually, he had the same Flex cover on his truck so he was able to show me how it worked beforehand. I'm old fashion, but I like that they don't work on Sundays because "it's their church day". I bought my camper shell for my 2001 ford ranger. It was custom made and it took 3 weeks. Jeff helped with all my questions......many, many questions. They installed it in about 4.5 hrs. They even showed us how it looked during there lunch break. It can out PERFECT. I went on a 2 week vacation and the winds were 25-30 mph. 7/20/2015 I found Bel-air Camper Shells on line after a lot of searching for a camper shell for my truck.I was a little uncomfortable making a purchase like this on line from across the country, but after numerous e-mails and phone calls, I purchased the C-10 camper shell from Jeff at in May. During the process, Jeff was very prompt in answering my phone calls and e-mails, providing information about models and specs, and making suggestions about the design that I later found very useful. I went down to Bel-Air Shells to buy a truck shell and carpet kit. I was told it would take a week and a half for my shell to be made and the carpet kit would take about 4 days. I was happy with that. But just a few day after I found out I had to make an emergency road trip for family. I called and They did everything they could to get everything done 3 days sooner. They kept in contact with me telling me when everything should arrive, as soon as it came in I drove down and they installed everything within a couple of hours. I purchased my Bel Air shell in 2003 from these guys and at that time we were told that the workmanship with regard to the shell was LIFETIME. I had my shell less than 4 years and the clear coat came off the paint. I took it back and they repainted it. Now in 2011 the clear coat is coming off again and it looks terrible. I went to see Jeff and he refused to fix it or have anything to do with it. I wish I ha purchased a Snug Top shell. It also leaked in every rain storm it was in. read more
