0 STARS!!!! Took my 03 C5Z06 Corvette into Driveshaft Pros Garden Grove Friday May 21st for a preset appointment I made with Armando to upgrade/install to a 4.10 final drive, new bearings, and seals in the differential. We discussed labor cost, and parts cost ahead of time verbally prior to setting the appointment. Also Armando promised my car would be inside the entire time... this was not the case... it was parked outside by a pallet until they were ready to rack it. (see pictures) I called Tuesday around 4:50 PM for an update... Armando apologies, sorry there was a limo in front of your car that took longer than expected. Okay... fine, but sucks since I brought this car in before 10 AM on Friday. Wednesday 5/26 around 4:30 PM I get a call from Armando saying they apologize they cannot do the job because they do not know or want to work on a C5 Corvette because of the rear transaxle design. Okay... I lost a week now... Why did you take the job in the first place?! Wasted my time, your time, and cost me unnecessary uber travel fees. 5/27 at 8 AM I uber for $100 to Garden Grove, and take my car home. ****** Not only could they not work on the car... but they did not know how to properly rack/lift a Corvette using the designated lift points along the frame. **** THIS was the final straw!!! Okay so you cant work my car because you your tech doesnt have the tools to do so, or expertise. BUT you incorrectly racked my Corvette cracking the super expensive hard to replace rocker panels!!! Armando has repeatedly told me he will contact his GM, and show him all the pictures and videos. Clamining his guys are not negligent.... He also says their shop will not cover or pay for outside labor... BULLSHIT, thats why you have shop insurance!!! OWN UP TO YOUR MISTAKES I still have not heard back from Armando or the GM. Do not use this shop EVER!!! Especially if you own a Corvette. The rocker panel is an insanely difficult and costly repair if the cracks are not just superfiscial surface cracking. I will be filing with the BBB, and have already wrote a similar review like this and posted it on Facebook as public and share-able on my own page, and 1000+ member socal car enthusiast groups. I cannot believe this BS... Way to F up my car!

Brand new carrier bearing & u-joint

These guys are awesome. I was in the process of selling my 08 Tundra (thanks to the gas prices) and noticed my carrier bearing was busted. Three shops down here in Irvine turned me away or told me they would just replace the entire driveshaft. Being that I was selling my truck, I didn't want to drop $1k+ into it. Messaged these guys on Yelp and let them know what I needed done - replacing the carrier bearing and u-joint. They quoted me a price and told me what would be most cost effective for my situation. Came in a day later and was out within 2 hours (would have been faster but I came buy while they were on lunch). Price was the EXACT same they quoted me on Yelp. Guy behind the counter helped load up my driveshaft in my truck. Nice dudes all around - you can tell they take pride in their work. If I ever need anything driveshaft related you better believe this will be the first place I call. Thanks gents

My bmw e30 I got my driveshaft serviced for

Ran into an issue with needing a new center support bearing while swapping out my driveshaft. I asked around a few shops if they can swap it out for me. They said it wouldve taken a day or two to get the part and do the service. I found DriveshaftPro and gave them a call, they told me they have one in stock and they can finish it in a day for me. They are very knowledgeable people and very helpful with any questions you have! I expected to drop off the driveshaft, grab food and come back to kill time. They told me they'll have it back out in a second and I don't need to go anywhere. It took me longer to get to their shop than it did for them to swap out my center support bearing. Their quality of work and quality of service is unbeatable. Mano/Manuel/Mando I am sorry I forgot your name but you made my experience worth while. Thank you very much and you gained a happy loyal customer. 11/10 would recommend this shop for any driveshaft services!!

    Outstanding Customer Service!

My 1998 Nissan Pathfinder was down for the count with a broken driveshaft and I was unable to locate a replacement until I discovered the good folks at Driveshaftpro. Thankfully, Mando was able to expertly assist me in a prompt and professional manner with a replacement. Within 5 days from placing the order, Driveshaftpro built a brand new driveshaft for my 26 year old vehicle and had it delivered across the country to my mechanic in Massachusetts. Many thanks to the highly motivated Driveshaftpro team for their outstanding customer service! Paul USMC (Ret)

Jose taking the time to explain everything

Rear axle was clacking, clanking, grinding, humming, all kinds of noise on a full custom fabricated housing. I was highly recommended to Driveshaft Pro of Garden Grove and brought my truck to them to inspect the rear end & driveshaft. I'm so glad I did. I Just went for a test drive after they replaced the ring&pinion, Detroit locker, and bearing kit from backlash, burnt out gears, race not pressed in correctly caused scaring. It is so dialed now. No noise at all. Finally got what I originally ordered for my prerunner. Different shop, who I won't mention. Jr from driveshaft pro, at front counter was great. Explained everything. Jose and his team did the work and also explained everything throughout the whole time my truck was there. Excellent service. And most importantly, the end product is perfect. I will definitely recommend them to friends & family. Thank you Driveshaftpro.

Today is a bit of a bittersweet moment. After about 6 years of loyal customer service and about…read more$15,000 later between two cars, it was time for me to call it quits on repairing my Silverado... I don't feel bad blood or any sketchy feelings toward anybody at the shop. I just feel it's dumb luck and just plain bad luck on my part for having such a faulty truck. Everybody at the shop has done an amazing job helping me out. Will at the front counter is an amazing person who goes above and beyond to do whatever he can to make the pricing work for you.. Trey is an amazing technician who knows exactly what he's doing and sends detailed videos and reporting of everything he inspects. Unfortunately my truck started leaking and it was a faulty water pump. The same water pump I replaced 4 years ago at the exact location here at autolink. Again, I don't feel any sketchy feelings. I don't feel any kind of way. I just feel frustrated that the same water pump would go out after 4 years. I feel like something like that just doesn't happen. Even with that, I'm in a position in my life where I can't and don't have the resources to do anything further with this vehicle. About 2 weeks ago, maybe three. I replaced the complete brake system in my vehicle and it cost me about $2,000. Today I got the estimate for the water pump repair and it was $1,500. This is on the higher end of any shop repair. Again? I feel it's worth it because of the work they do, but to be honest, I feel something more should have been done to either prevent the water pump from breaking down again or getting some kind of warranty for that water pump that just happened to break down once again after 4 years. In the back of my mind, I can't stop thinking about the fact that something like this just doesn't happen that often. Water pumps don't break down that often. Anyway, that aside again, I hold no bad feelings toward this shot because I highly recommend them to everybody. They are on the higher end of the pricing ever since they started getting more clientele and more business. That is something that is to be expected I guess. Even with that, they were able to bring down the price significantly, and I appreciated it ever so much. At the same time I had to explain that at this time in my life I I can't and will not continue to repair this truck. I picked up the truck from the shop, drove it home and it's going to be sitting in my driveway for a few months until I figure out what I'm going to do with it. I have to save money to fix it because I do want to keep it and pass it down to my kid because after $15,000 worth of repairs I think it's pretty much brand new and should hold up for my son for a few years. Thank you everybody at the shop, Jay, will, Trey all the mechanics that I haven't met. They are detailed and explain what needs to be done with great reporting and paperwork. I will not be going back for a while. I'm going to save up some money. Get a new car and when the time comes I'm going to fix the truck and pass it down to my kid when he's old enough to drive. But I am seriously done with this truck. It has been nothing but a money pit. Again, I hold no bad blood, no hard feelings toward anybody at the shop. I just feel some kind of way about the same part breaking down 4 years later and me having to fix it at the exact same place with no kind of warranty.

I'll start by saying that I am a procrastinator. I wait to get something fixed until it is…read moreABSOLUTELY necessary and there is no way around it. With that being said, I went in for a routine oil change and asked them to changed a headlight bulb that was out and I needed new wiper blades as well. I dropped off the truck and received a follow up call a few hours later explaining to me a previous existing issue with the wiring of the REAR tail lights. I completely forgot that I had said I would see about maybe getting it taken care of the "next time" I went in for an oil change. Well, today was that "next time" and not only did I have faulty wiring in the rear tail lights, but also faulty wiring on the headlights as well. All this after going in for a routine oil change. I'm not mad, it was to be expected; it's an older truck about 20 yrs old. I was not prepared for all the work that needed to be done and I was ready to postpone that work until the "next" oil change... but- They called me up and explained all my options, clearly explained all issues at hand and worked with me to get all the repairs done within my budget. This is why I love these guys and am literally writing this review in tears because I truly feel appreciated when they work with me and are beyond professional in what they do. Thank you Sincerely, Auggie
