Not only do these guys know what they're doing, but they have one of the absolute coolest historical buildings I've ever been in. It actually used to be used to service the springs on wagons drawn by horses back in the day. I still have an area where the horses used to be tied up while the wagons were being worked on. They use it for their yard. But the guys that worked there are just unbelievably cool very polite, extremely helpful and they did an amazing job fixing my truck, you have no idea how grateful I am for these guys .. Im not much of a yelp guy, in fact this is my first time using yelp. However, I just wanted to give Jeff and his guys at Deaver a shout out for their professional work & hustle. I had a center bolt break on one of my front leaf springs and needed just a center bolt. I showed up and Jeff quickly had one of his shop guys dial in the exact bolt I needed meanwhile Jeff pressed me two U-bolts as mine were bent from unfortunate circumstance. I had some Deaver U402 leaf pack installed on my 2014 Toyota Tacoma along with my ADS suspension. After a few months, I had some issues with the u402 leaf pack where they were kind of flat. I talked to Scott at Deaver and he said they would take care of resolving the issue under warranty. I was heading down to Huntington Beach anyways so I scheduled an appointment with Scott for them to take a look at my truck. This morning, I arrived at the shop around 8am and found their shop in an old blacksmith's building. It was a cool location with all of their metal springs in the old school building. After introducing myself to Scott, he pulled the truck into the back right away. We decided to walk around to grab some breakfast and then hang out at Starbucks while we waited. Around 11:45am, Scott called back letting me know the truck was about to be done. We got back and the truck was done and looking brand new again. Scott and their tech's told me there was an issue with one of the leafs and they replaced it as well as making sure everything else was good. Scott and team were fantastic to work with and I HIGHLY recommend Deaver products. Their products as well as their customer service is awesome. They make sure you are happy with your product. I had such a great experience with Deaver Spring, INC!! Scott and Jeff are so knowledgeable I just trusted their judgement on what was needed. I have a 2017 F-250 truck with a Lance 855s on it. They added two lower springs and an upper overload spring (3 pack) and it rides beautifully! The truck has so much more stability. My lower springs are now equivalent to an F-350 truck and I actually have higher capacity on my upper overpass than a 350. I haven't removed the truck to test the ride without the camper on. I now it will be a rough ride but the camper stayed on and it's only rare instances in which it's removed. I highly recommend these guys! read more

I was referred to come here for a leaf spring issue. I called and spoke with Jeff. He said he was booked out for a month but said I can come by anytime to have a look at it. When I got there I could see why he was recommended. He is an easy going person who came off as honest and fair. He was able to get my car serviced right there and then. I was in and out very quickly. I called around beforehand to get quotes on the work and other shops suggested the more expensive fix. He was able to asses the problem and recommend a more cost effective way of fixing the issue. This is a 4th generation family-run shop and it felt that way. I definitely recommend giving them a call. Haven't gotten any major work there which is also why I wanted to write the review.... So I went in to purchase some center pins for my leaf springs as I snapped the right side center pin, I asked for two and only had Apple Pay or my debit card and he ended up just giving them to me (yes I understand they're cheap parts however it's the principle of the matter) told him I'd come back with cash and I did today. When I was there today I asked them some questions and Jeff as well as another employee came out to take a look at my truck which eventually lead to a referral to lee and son. You don't come across honest hard working individuals like Jeff anymore and he was kind enough to help me out and not push me out of the door like some other shops I've dealt with in the past. Highly recommend this place as they are not in the business of making sales.... they're honest and only look out for your best interest and for me that is rare. Can't tell you how many times I've gone to get "expert" advice only to be sold on shit I didn't need..... hope I get some extra cash soon so I can purchase some suspension upgrades from him.... Our Hummer H3 had a lift kit on it when we brought it. It was quickly apparent that the Rancho leaf springs weren't capable of keeping the car level even without any additional weight in the back. When we had 300lbs of gear in the back, the rear would sag and the shackles would hit the frame on any bumps so I knew we needed an upgrade. I wanted a shop that really knew their stuff when it came to leaf springs. I was leaning toward Atlas or Deaver but really was hoping to work with Deaver. The initial phone calls and contact with Jeff felt rocky and confused. It did feel like I was inconveniencing him and maybe I was. (I don't know what someone else is going through at the time). Also, since this is the first truck that I needed custom leaf springs for, I really didn't know what information was needed so I could see that I may have been really annoying to work with. I understood the information they needed so we went from there. I took measurements of my existing ride height, figured out what Rancho would have specified, and had the vehicle weighed at a CAT scale with and without our camping gear. I was able to provide this information to Jeff in email. We had some back and forth. He suggested that I'd need to get extended shackles and I also ordered additional hardware for this suspension upgrade. I hadn't put down a deposit yet. Our initial phone call mentioned a deposit so I was still unsure if I had even ordered anything. I sent an email to let him know the new hardware was on hand. I received an email from him that said "Is the problem fixed?". I was confused so we had further back and forth emails where I eventually reiterated that I didn't want to fix my Rancho springs at all and just wanted to replace it all with something that worked. He replied "Sounds good, call me and I will get this going". Awesome. Called him. Deposit made and all our systems are aligned. (For reference, my first email contact was 4/6/2021 and the process was started 5/11/2021) Lead time for the new springs was 10-11 weeks. No big deal. I got a call from Jeff on 8/11/2021 with news that they were done! Scheduled our appointment for 9/17/2021 for their shop install. It was the first time seeing the shop in person and you can tell there is a long history here. I was able to speak with Scott. The initial impression I got from him was like a "Why the F are you here?" but his demeanor changed as soon as he found the order. (It was also 7:30am and the day had just started.) I made sure to point out the extra hardware for the install and we were good to go. I was thinking the install time would be 6 hours or so. I was happily mistaken when I got a call from him about 3.5 hours after we dropped the car off. Spring quality.. BOY O' BOY. These things are awesome. They nailed the ride height perfectly and the new hardware all lined up. The vehicle is such a beast now and handles absolutely amazingly. Seriously, this suspension made a world of difference!!! It brought back the life in our Hummer! TLDR; While the communication with the team might be a little confusing or maybe even off putting, the results and quality of the product is well worth it! I'd gladly go with Deaver for any vehicle that needs leaf springs again. read more

If you have a 4wd or any vehicle with a solid axle and you like to offroad in southern CA, you've probably heard of Deaver. i used them for the first time yesterday to rebuild the leaf packs on my truck which had been wrecked. i drove from Riverside and needed them turned around that same day to prevent my truck from being towed. scott and the team at deaver obliged, and i had them done that afternoon. straightened out, new bushings, and an add-a-leaf with gloss black paint all for a killer price. they are the preeminent name in leaf springs and offroad fabrication, and there is a reason for it. I have a 2002 Ford Excursion 7.3 and I needed to replace the front springs. After several friends told me about Deaver I stopped by and talked to Jeff. He gave me a fair quote, so I made an appt. for the following Friday. When I got there I wanted to replace all four corners , not just the front. Jeff said they were too busy and could not do the backs. It was miscommunication on my part, not theirs. Not gonna lie, I was a little disappointed. Later on I got a phone call from Jeff saying they finished quicker than they thought and could do the back springs today as well if I still wanted too. Talk about customer service, Jeff made my day.
