But when you arrive, they tack on all these add on fees. Some of them made sense and some don't even exist. Called and got a quote for $500. Get there and there's 2 options, wired or Bluetooth. Fine. $100 upgrade. ($600) Then the frame is extra. $150 for plastic? Ouch.. fine. Then $150 to wire the steering wheel to the radio.. fine. That's $900 now. Then they said they would "basically" throw in the back up cam for "like- free" ($20) So.. how did that tally up to $1000 plus tax? They're doing scammer math here. And after all of that. The back up cam is like an 8bit game from back in the day. It's outrageously pixelated and I told them it's embarrassing that they are even offering such a product. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE and now I'm out $1100 An installer down the street would've done it for me for $850. read more

I was recommended over to them and it wasn't worth it. I needed to remove my system because im trading in my car. I dealt with the owner Mike. He was rude and acted like I didn't know what I had in my own car. I was then going to take that equipment and install it in a new car. When I first messaged them via Yelp they knew exactly what I had and when Mike saw the car I told what I had as well. He then tells me oh its more money now I didn't know what it is you had. Like yeah you did. So then they proceed to stop at the removal becuase i wasnt about to over pay. Pick up the car and they put the speakers on backwards on top of that. So now my front speakers are in the back and my back speakers are in the front. Definitely dont recommend this place. read more

Walk up in your vehicle without permission and drive it in the garage. Shady people. They try to put you on stuff you don't want and what they can't get rid of . And then they all disappear when you try to ask questions Supposedly fixed my radio , still wasn't working but they ended breaking my door panel for some reason. Was quoted $600 for a lift on my truck and other things. I provided a link to the lift so Mike could give me a proper quote. I came in and the price jumped to $1k install with a 2day turn around which ended up being five days. He then quoted me $200 to change out the bushings which then jumped to $600 after he got into the job. The shop is a total bait and switch when it comes to doing any mechanical work on your vehicle. My truck doesn't even drive straight and I'll have to put about another $600 dollars into it. Save the time and hassle unless you're getting a simple speaker install. read more

Some of the guys here have been here for 30+ years! Most of the dudes here really do know all the technical stuff like product specs, power handing, setting amp gains, setting epicenters. They're exceptional! So far I've gotten a 12" single sub install (full package) for less than $1k in a 2020 premium luxury suv. Other shops quoted me well over 2k just because it was a fancy car. I requested a full system upgrade for a 2016 premium model sedan(not luxury). And once again they came through! My sedan sounds just as good as the suv I also got a tint for the sedan. I recently brought my car to Bristol Sounds for assistance with an issue related to my existing dash cam. Although the dash cam was not originally installed by them--and the shop that did the installation is no longer in business--I chose Bristol Sounds based on their positive Yelp reviews. I clearly explained the situation during our initial communication, received a quote that I approved, and scheduled an appointment for a Saturday morning. When I arrived for the appointment, the manager at the counter (who I assume may be the owner, based on our interaction) declined to work on my car. He stated that the are busy on Saturdays and that my job was too small for them to do. Despite my confirmed appointment, he insisted they would not perform the work and suggested I return on a weekday. I asked to speak with Alex, the staff who had helped me schedule the appointment, but my request was denied. I was told rudely that having an appointment did not matter and that I would need to come back on a weekday. While I was feeling frustrated and unsure of what to do next, Alex happened to come by, greeted me, and kindly took care of the situation. He completed the work efficiently within about 40 minutes. Although I'm still giving the shop a 5-star rating due to the quality of the work and Alex's professionalism, I believe the customer service -- particularly how the manager interaction with customers -- could be improved. read more

I will give them five out of five stars for customer service. I was greeted by Alex and he couldn't be more friendly and helpful and not to mention honest which you can't find these days . Also, what would it be like if the customer service was great and the job was horrible? WELL IT WAS THE EXACT OPPOSITE. I got a 12 inch kicker and a 1000 W amp installed and I couldn't be any more happier not only was the installation done excellently, but they went out of their way to fix all the stuff that was done wrong by another place.
