I booked an appointment online through Lux Mobile Wash website, paid for my deposit, and got immediate confirmation that it was confirmed and that I would receive a call soon to also confirm. I asked my roommate to stay at home for the day I had scheduled. I never received a call to confirm, which I found unsettling. I called the number and left a voicemail, and immediately got a call back! It turns out that they had another appointment scheduled for the time I had booked, and could not detail my car, so they would cancel the appointment and refund my deposit. I appreciated this, but asked if we could instead reschedule. Here comes the sketchy part. He agrees to reschedule, offers a 3 pm time slot. I said, my roommate who I arranged to be their during the day can't be there, but I live in a safe neighborhood so could leave my car open. He says yes, but asks me to leave my keys for him in case he gets locked out while detailing. ... Seriously? He expects me to leave my keys in the car??? I agree (but was not planning on it, figured I'd just run home if he got locked out). Anyways, he promises to call again as it gets closer to 3 pm, and as you may expect, he never does. It's now been almost a week with me calling every other day asking for an update, a call back, or my money back. No reply. Left multiple voicemails. Thought, despite all my misgivings about his sketchy behavior as above, that I would like to try to support a small local business? However, enough is enough. This is a total scam, if this is a legitimately run business then my only verdict is that it's an extremely poorly managed one. I am now working with my credit card company to try to get back my deposit.

He was on time, friendly, and most importantly - all 3 cars looked and smelled brand new at the end. I'll definitely be using Lux again next time my cars need to be freshened up. I called them to book and the woman was clearly distracted, though we booked the 2 cars for Monday and Tuesday. Then they call me on Sunday and say "Whoops, we're not open tomorrow. We can rebook you for Friday." Ok, fine. I show up on Tuesday at the agreed upon drop-off time of 7:30am. By 8:10am, there is still no one there, and they're not answering the phone, despite me confirming twice during booking and again on Sunday that I could drop off between 7:30-8:00am. I left a voicemail expressing my disappointment and asked them to call me before Noon and make it right or I'd contact Groupon. Still no call, still no acknowledgement of them missing our appointment. I've contacted Groupon and gotten a refund. Don't waste your time.

I made an appointment online (which required me to pay upfront), but then the day before the appointment I received a text saying that they overbooked and couldn't take me. After two days of multiple miscommunications, they ended up coming to my home (which I initially appreciated)... The service took almost three hours, but after the employee left I realized that none of my interior doors were cleaned completely (the package I selected was "Interior Deluxe P3") and my seats were all left very damp. Overall, definitely not worth the money or time spent. I'm sad to leave this review, since the owner "Joe" was nice/personable over the phone and the employee I met was friendly; but the entire experience was frustrating, and the business seems very disorganized.

Later, when I got a call that my car was ready and went to pay, the guy told me he didn't know how the system worked to apply the discount. When booking an appointment, there was a miscommunication hat the manager will come pick up the car, but ended up not happening due to language barriers. That's fine, I drove the car there and took an Uber back. Took them an hour and a half to complete my car and was told I would need to pick it up by 3:30 (since they can only park my car there for 3 hours). I had to leave work early and take Uber back to grab my car. That's fine. I didn't really get a chance to check my car there, but when inspecting my car after I got home, I noticed a bunch of spots that got missed...especially since this is a 2 step Exterior and paid separate for interior. Inside, they missed a spot on the driver side door latch and had a liquid drip spot on the passenger side. Exterior, the bumper still had a bunch of missed bug splats...not even small ones. Also didn't wipe down the driver side side-mirror so it had some white residue. The roof had a bunch of random spots that looked like they didn't wipe it clean or at all. Lastly, this might be nit-picking but they didn't clean the inside of the fuel door. For the amount of money paid, I definitely expected a better job on the exterior as it was the two step exterior. Other than that, the owner was very responsive and communicated to his staff. When I arrived, the staff were also really nice, although a bit rushy. They definitely did a better job inside the car than outside. The inside was pretty spotless besides the door handles. Don't know if I would go back as a quick wash place would have yielded similar results for much much less.

They came right to my house and did an outstanding job...my car looks brand new! In addition, as an add on service, they buffed out some pretty serious scratches down the side of my car from when my teenage daughter was learning to drive and side swiped the garage. They saved me hundreds of dollars had I taken it into a shop. These guys are PROs from start to finish. I will 1000% use them again and recommend them to my friends and neighbors.
