Cellie had been hit by a truck and was unable to preform the duties she had been trained for, but she was perfect for what I needed her for. I had seizures and needed a dog that could get close enough to me to alert me to oncoming seizures. Cellie and I lived many happy years together until she developed cancer in her face sadly. She was the smartest, sweetest, most protective dog I have ever had. I had the tumor removed once and at first the vet thought it was not cancerous but after removing it he saw that it was and said that once it came back eventually she would not be able to eat. It has been over 20 years since Cellie passed and I have not had another dog since I still miss her every day.
