This was a solid stop on my way out of Napa. I had been looking for a spot still open and I orders a to go meal from here. They were very friendly and the space is clean and cozy. I ordered the garlic nann, Paneer Tikka Masala and a side of rice. This was all to go. The portions were extremely generous for the rice and Paneer tikka masala. The garlic Nann was tasty but a little thin and crispy on one side. The rice was very tasty and very enjoyable. I will say the one thing that was not quite as enjoyable was the rather large layer of oil/ grease on my Paneer Tikka masala. It seemed a bit excessive compared to other places I've been to (to go) and I know that it can settle. Overall this is a solid spot to stop and have a quick bite to eat that isn't fast food.

This restaurant offers a variety of of Indian cuisine with vegan and non vegan options. This is located in a not so exposed area closer to Walmart next to highway 29. Plenty or parking during a weekday lunch time. I got my usual order in any Indian restaurant: Chicken biryani, chicken tikka massala and naan bread. The Chicken tikka massal is fire! it is so flavorful and tastes so authentic and it is my current favorite paired with naan bread. The chicken tikka massala is also good but comparable to my go-to at Walnut Creek, the Naan n Curry still is my favorite for their delicious biryani. Customer service is okay. The ambiance is nice, place is neat and clean. I would love to come back to this place and try the others in the menu.

Just ordered from DoorDash. Got the kheer (like a rice pudding), chicken masala, garlic naan, and samosa. Everything tasted great! Some of the portions feel small for the price IMO. But solid food. Will be back.

Delicious Food, Great service, in a relaxing and welcoming ambiance is how I describe Bel King. I'm just starting to get very familiar with traditional Indian cuisine, outside of samosas, butter chicken, and tikka masala. Today, I ordered the Chicken Biryani. This dish reminds me of a traditional Trinidadian dish called Pelou, which is chicken and rice cooked to perfection with vegetables in one pot. The Biryani was so flavorful and delicious, with chunks of juicy chicken breast in every bite. The dish had a slight kick, with tons of flavor that will dance on your palette. I highly recommend Bel King and looking forward to try more of their signature dishes when I return!

    Garlic Naan

I absolutely love their food, especially the chicken, tikka masala, samosas, and garlic naan bread. They're always quick with service and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend!

This is the first time I've eaten at this restaurant. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. I seldom eat at an Indian cuisine but this restaurant is simply the best. Their staff are very friendly, polite, and accommodating. The ambiance is really clean, nice and relaxing. I love the taste of their biriani lamb. I recommend this restaurant who craves authentic Indian cuisine.

    Rice and chicken curry

Like I went today food is very delicious. I order chicken curry plus rice and in sweets rasmali it's very delicious and staff is very friendly. I feel like I'm in Punjab. Taste like home food

Was craving Indian food but didn't want to travel far, so Bel King was perfect! It was my first time here and I'm impressed with the food. Starting off with the restaurant itself, there's only a few tables with a huge open space. I'm not sure how busy it gets here, but when I came for dinner on Sunday night it was not busy so seats weren't a problem. The seats... the booths are nice but the seat/bench itself is short. There were times when I felt like I was going to fall/slide off the chair. Once you sit in them you'll understand lol. Other than that the restaurant was nice and very clean! The food. I reaaally liked the food and service. We ordered our usual; chicken biryani, butter chicken, and garlic naan. The chicken biryani was a 10/10 especially because it came pretty much with another whole naan (plain) on top! Our waitress cut it open in front of us, revealing the biryani which was nice. Good portion as well. Garlic naan was fiirreeee and the pieces were big. The butter chicken.... SO good, but the sizing in my opinion was small. I would recommend getting your own butter chicken and not sharing especially if you're hungry.. haha. Overall, I really like this place and I would come back! It's convenient, fast/nice service, and clean. I would probably take the food home though because it was soooo cold inside, especially when the door would open constantly. Try this place if you're craving Indian food close to home!

This place finally re-opened!…read more My husband and I ordered from here take-out for dinner and we also tried the lunch buffet. It's been awhile since we've been to a lunch buffet at an Indian restaurant due to the pandemic so we were really excited this was here! The chicken tikka masala was delicious and flavored well. The naan served fresh was to die for! The best part about this place IMO is that when I asked if anything was spicy, they said no AND IT WAS TRUE. Usually at any Indian restaurant, I tell them, no spice - and its still super spicy :( But here, they were true to their word so I was so glad! I look forward to coming back here to satisfy a craving!

My friend and I walked 16 minutes because we were starving and didn't have a car. The reviews looked decent, so we figured it was worth the trek. As we got closer, however, we ended up on a street with a smell that could only be described as a warning sign from the universe. I told my friend, "If the restaurant is on this street, I'm not going in." Naturally, it was. My friend convinced me to at least give it a chance. We walked inside, and while the smell wasn't quite enough to send me running, it definitely wasn't helping build confidence. My friend was fine with it. Later I realized she was simply too tired to walk anywhere else. I ordered the lamb biryani, and she ordered the butter chicken. We also got what was advertised as a green salad. Calling it a green salad felt generous--it was more of an onion convention with a few green leaves attending as guests. The food arrived, and I was so hungry that I would have eaten almost anything at that point. I started enthusiastically. Then something magical happened: as soon as my hunger went away, so did my desire to continue eating. The butter chicken was the biggest mystery of the evening. It tasted nothing like butter chicken. In fact, I'm still trying to solve the case. Was it chicken? Was it butter? Was it an entirely new life form? The world may never know. The lamb biryani wasn't terrible, but it wasn't memorable either. The most memorable part of the meal was trying to figure out what exactly we were eating. There were only two other occupied tables, and they looked just like us--hungry tourists who had followed the reviews and were now silently reevaluating their life choices. As we left, my Indian friends' advice finally came back to me: "If you walk into an Indian restaurant and there are no Indian customers, keep walking." Sadly, my brain remembered this valuable life lesson only after I had already met the world's most mysterious butter chicken. Some lessons are learned the hard way. Others are learned 16 minutes from your hotel while carrying a to-go box you know you're never going to open. On the bright side, the walk there and back counted as cardio, and I left with a story that was more satisfying than the meal. for the adventure. for the food.

Let me tell you, I was WRONG. The dishes here were so flavorful. Believe them when they say something is mild, though, I ordered that way and should have asked for Medium at least because I like some heat. I thought it would be "Indian taste mild" but it was truly mild. The Chef came to chat a bit and said it's important to him to give people what they're actually asking for when they specific a heat level. We had the chicken tikka masala, methi malai paneer, and lamb vindaloo. All pretty basic dishes but the flavor was really good and distinct on each. And the garlic naan...I've never had such garlicky garlic naan before and I was in HEAVEN. And the portions were crazy, we went home with enough leftovers for a few days. They even gave us extra rice to eat it all with. 10/10 would recommend. Finally, although the place stayed empty, I noticed a steady stream of pickup orders going out.
