I love to come here but I do not love the rude customer service. If your going to continue placing someone's order you ask, " what else can I get for you?" You don't say, "Oh did you want something else," with a blank facial expression with rolling your eyes. Every time I have come here someone is in a bad mood about something. My husband is the active military, so I used the military discount as he's in the car waiting for his coffee, the cashier rolled her eyes and inspected every inch of my ID. This was my first visit here and I didn't feel like this place was all everyone has hyped it up to be. As my first time here I wasn't completely certain on what to get and I continuously apologized to the workers for taking so long as I wasn't familiarized with their menu. I didn't get much help or suggestions from the workers so I just ended up getting a sprinkle donut for my son, a two cheese kolache for myself, and an iced coffee with half and half and caramel syrup. My son seemed to profoundly enjoy his donut. I on the other hand was very skeptical halfway through my kolache. The sausage had good flavor but the dough all around still had a raw feeling when chewed. I was also mildly disappointed with my iced coffee as it was far too sweet for my taste. The only really cool thing about Belair Donuts is that they sell Doggie Donuts which are just some natural ingredient dog treats. I used to come here once a week to get donuts for my office. I stopped because it is far too expensive for a dozen donuts ($9, really?). But today I thought I'd try again. Not only did the guy have a staff member make his breakfast while there was a line, but he double charged me and then charged me an extra dollar for two sprinkle donuts. He didn't tell me my total, nor did he offer a receipt. Luckily I checked my bank account before leaving and noticed I was charged $18 for a dozen donuts! I went back inside and they refunded me for what I was overcharged- but refused to offer a refund. What kind of business are you running? Also, basic food station rules and standards are not being upheld. Sandals, shorts, hair down? I will not be returning and encourage you to find your breakfast literally anywhere else. First visit review! Solid 5 star review. I'm in love. I mean of course who doesn't love donuts? But here's what got me... I was looking for a place in the area (on yelp of course) that had WiFi and I could bring my computer and do homework. Belair Donuts was the first on that popped up on the list. It was super close to where I work so perfect to go on break. I walked in and there's doughnut decor everywhere that is super cute and welcoming. The girl at the counter was tidying up the place and hurried to help me. I told her I had just come in to scope out a place where I could do my homework and grab a good cup of coffee. She asked me if it had been my first time coming to Belair donuts. I told her it was and I ordered two red velvet donuts. She gave them to me complimentary since it was my first time and said try them out and see what you think! I was taken back for a second and thought to myself ... did I just get free donuts?! Awesome first impression. I sat down and took a bite and as the koolaid man would say OHHHHHH YEAAAAAA, the red velvet is a must try. Sooo yummy. I'm really picky about kolaches so I was happy to see that Belair makes them and that they taste really good! Sweet fluffy roll and savory in the middle. We also tried their donuts which didn't disappoint. And the flavored lattes were perfect! Better than the closest Starbucks that's for sure. The shop is cozy and they got a good flow to accommodate the morning rush. Workers are friendly and provide fast service. They also have some soaps, lotions, and other items for sale that I'm guessing are locally made. This location is right out of gate 2 so if your hungry and stuck in traffic I'd definitely recommend a short stop here on your way to work. read more

I love this place. I'm a regular at the location on Jimmy Dyess, but I happened to visit the Grovetown location recently and they're great too. The place was very busy because I visited early in the morning. Because it is close to Fort Gordon, lots of soldiers were there to grab coffee or a donut before or after work. I'm not sure which. I ordered my usual Apple Fritter and to my surprise the owner gave me a second. She said they weren't as large as she usually makes them and she wanted to make sure I got what I paid for. Wow! I thought that was great and displayed great integrity and care for her business. Now this Apple Fritter was still very large. So much so that I gave the extra to my sister. Overall, the next time I'm in the area, I'll stop here for sure to get my morning donut fix! read more

This little donut shop is easy to find and totally worth the trip. The donuts are pretty sweet...but hey those are what donuts usually are. The crodo's (croissant donuts) are really different from the ones seen on tv. They look more like croissants with a glaze on it. They're really fluffy and fill your mouth with goodness in every bite. We got there kind of late, and they only had leftover donuts from the day before. They were accommodating and helped call the other stores to see if they had more donuts for us to choose from. Just as a warning, my husband and I visit this place easily once a week - yes. It is that good. Yes. It is. The product is all top notch - handmade donuts, glazes, apple fritters (the best apple fritters you'll ever have) and coffee drinks. They source their beans from Buona Caffe, a local roaster here in Augusta, ensuring your cup of coffee is always as fresh as it can be. Beyond their sweets, they have a few things that you might not expect - in particular, their breakfast burritos are incredibly addictive. Burritos come with either bacon or sausage, and contain eggs, cheese and a sauce of your choice (between chipotle mayo and avocado ranch). They have freshly made bagels - but they aren't the thick or dense ones you may be use to, but are light as air and crispy on the outside. They also have kolaches - what do you mean you don't know what that is? It's basically a sausage wrapped in a very lightly sweetened yeast dough. The thing that really makes this place is the service, however. These people LOVE donuts, and they care about their product being as good as possible. When you walk in, they're usually talking about donuts! This location (and it's parent on Belair road), are places you MUST visit if you live in the area. read more

This morning I called to see if the Grovetown location had any cream cheese puffs because last time they had sold out. I had not tried them yet and thought they sounded delish! The woman I talked to in the phone was very helpful and asked how many I would like and also how long till I would arrive to pick them up. I assumed that meant they had some still available at the Grovetown location, so I said ten minutes. We live maybe 5 minutes away. So my husband heads that way to pick them up and the ladies at the register said they did not have any left, my husband just said okay and proceeded to buy something else. Then a very nice woman came rushing into the store with a bag in hand. My husband was walking out the door and she asked him if he had ordered the puffs. This kind woman drove all the way from the other location just to bring us three cream cheese puffs! My husband said he heard the ladies behind the counter call her Trish. I had seen this shop to and from work so I figured I would give it a shot. A little after it open, I stopped by and it was kind of difficult to decide what I really wanted because they had such a huge selection (or more than I had been used to). I decided on the red velvet donut and it actually was pretty good but as I found out, the "crem de-la crem" (I know I am not spelling it right, but just follow me) was this maple log with bacon! Yes, I know it probably is not the best choice health wise, but for that 5-10 minutes, I was beyond happy. The staff was extremely nice to my daughter and the atmosphere is very calming.
