The lash tint was ok, but her honesty is to be questioned. When I called to book my appointment I asked how much the tint was? Beatriz quoted me $25.00. When I went for the tinting, was done with my appointment, I asked her how much (just to see what she would say) and she charged me $35.00. I knew she overcharged me. I waited until I got home to text her to advise. She admitted it and put a stop on the Zelle payment. The reason I'm putting this on YELP is because I feel (due to my age) she thought she could get away with overcharging me and I wouldn't notice. I did not get my lashes done by beatriz because she made me jump through hoops to set up my first appt. I left a voicemail one day. She calls me back the next day thinking i was some other client, once she found i was not that client, she hung up on me. I waited 5 minutes, no phone call, i tried calling her 3 times and no answer. I then texted her, where she asked me to go to her styleseat site and reserve an appt where its mandatory to provide that site a credit card to hold your appt. First of all, that site showed pricing that was off from what she quoted me on text and secondly wth will i provide my credit card number to a site i am not familiar with? I was so upset by this i looked elsewhere and went to see diana at oasis salon. I paid more but diana learned from a guy that does eyelashes for oprah. Have been coming to Beatriz for years , absolutely love her work ! I live in the valley and Simi Valley was a bit of a drive and decided to try someone local. BIG MISTAKE ! She used cheap products that always irritated my eyes and used lashes waaaayyy to heavy for my natural lashes making them weak. I ended up coming back to Beatriz and her amazing work. I love Beatriz and her work! I can tell you.. Moving from Las Vegas to Thousand Oaks there are not alot of experienced eyelash artists out here unless you're willing to drive down to LA. I found Beatriz through Yelp when she used to work at a spot in Westlake Village, but the shop she worked for insanely increased the price to the point a super woman can get a 3-4 week fill done in 45 min. Now that she is at her own spot in Simi, her prices are very affordable (if you're a lash freak like me and have been doing this for years.. Its affordable comparing to most places that do ok work). She is one artist that knows how to do Volume lashes around the area! If you don't know what volume lashes are you should try them especially if you don't have alot of natural lashes. All other artist that I've been contacting before booking her don't even know what volume lashes were. I am on my 2nd week and I might have to reschedule my 3 week fill for the week after because they still look so full! Overall, I recommend Beatriz to anyone who is interested in lashes extensions.
