I'm really disappointed. I used to get my eyebrows done every month, but today was the worst experience I've had. The lady made them so uneven, and I've never cried over anything like this before. I called them to express my frustration, and when I went back, she was a bit rude, insisting it was just the way my eyebrows are. If that's true, why do they look different right after she threaded them? They did offer to refund my money, which I appreciate, but that won't fix my eyebrows. I had such a great experience with Sweety! I've been coming to Layla for a while now for threading and I saw that they now offer facials, eyebrow tinting & lamination with their esthetician, Sweety! She was super accommodating and was able to get my mom & I in for a facial on the same day. We both went in for the Hydro microdermabrasion facial and the results the next day were amazing. Our experience during the facial was incredibly relaxing. She's very skilled and gentle! My skin felt so refreshed and the next day it looked super glowy and soft. Do not go here!!!! I am surprised they have 4 and 1/2 stars honestly. It's always been a hit or miss for me and I've only gone back because they are so close to where I live and all the ladies are really nice. But I definitely will not be going back ever again after my right eyebrow was pretty much butchered (see photo --top middle section)! I can't remember the name of the lady who did this to my poor eyebrow, but she was very fast and careless and talked way too much. I've been a loyal customer for years, since they were located in the Simi Town Center so I am deeply saddened to be leaving a one star review but I felt I had no choice after the experience I had today.. I usually go to the same person every time, I'm sure my spelling is way off but her name is Vraceli (I tried, I'm sorry!) and she is always ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! That was not the case with the younger female in glasses who was there today though.. Initially I wanted to walk out the door when I saw my usual eyebrow artist wasn't there, but I didn't want to be rude, so I gave this young woman a chance. For starters, she was very unpleasant. She didn't even greet me or say hello, she was short and stern but I'm not expecting to be entertained so I didn't care as long as she was good at what she did--which unfortunately was not the case, at least not with me. She was dreadfully slow which anyone who has been threaded before knows that means it was extremely painful. She went waaaay too thin on both of my brows, but especially my right one, which is usually my easier/prettier brow. After the hack job was complete, she used a drenched cotton ball to clean up the hair (which currently is still all over my eyelids, forehead, under & in my eyes, you name it!) & whatever solution she had soaked on there burned like the dick'ns! It also dripped into my eyes, haha. I've never felt or had that happen any other time I've had my brows done there.. After it was all done and I paid she didn't even say thank you, or goodbye.. just a sharp "Do you want your receipt?" which I wish I would've said yes to. I wish I would've gone with my initial instincts and gone home when I saw that my usual gal wasn't there. Now instead, I'll just have to deal with these pencil-thin, early 2000's, uneven brows for a few months until they grow back in. I cannot stress enough how good Vraceli (again, sorry..) is though! She is the best and she's worth the wait! I've definitely learned that lesson the hard way, haha read more

Came yesterday for my first time at 12:30 to get my eyebrows done. First off, I really do not have much, so I don't need to have them done but twice a year. My wait was about 10 minutes, as there was two men ahead of me. A young girl named Echo did my eyebrows. She was quick and friendly, but seemed to have a terrible cold and was sniffling the whole time. I thought she did a good job under their lighting, but when I got home I still had to do some plucking on my own. I gave her a 2.00 tip on top of what they charge of 10.00. Since I do not have much and still had to pluck, I wasn't satisfied. I hope i do not get the cold she had as she was breathing in my face. Cute spot, but wasn't impressed like others wrote. I have been going to Gori for a few years for the threading of my face. She is very professional, sweet, and always listens to what I want. Gori is gentle and takes her time with me and never rushes. I was so sad when she left the Ventura location so I go to Simi Valley when I can.
