We had a massive leak in our main line and I found The Crew here on Yelp. Caden responded very quickly and gave me a free estimate for our repairs. When he came out I felt like he really went the extra mile to diagnose our issue, as he followed the crawl space all the way to where the main connected to our house and he found the issue and said the water leak was SO bad that he could hear the water running. We submitted the estimate from here and one other company and our landlord chose these guys based on my recommendation as well as the cost being considerably less. The city messed up our locator service request and went to the wrong address so we had to push our appointment back one day. But we got it done. Caden was in and out of the house a ton and very respectful and responsible for our pets to stay in (we have 3 cats and a dog, all who will try to sneak out open doors.) He also made sure not a speck of dirt was tracked into our house. I had posted some photos of the outside and garage before finishing my review, as we were waiting to schedule our Delta cartridges being replaced as those leaks in the bathrooms are driving me crazy and leave mildew and mold after a couple of days and it doesn't matter how much I clean. However, I didn't realize that wasn't on the initial estimate and asked Caden to order them. When we scheduled it, our landlord wasn't aware of the other charge and Isabelle (I'm sorry if it's Izabelle...I don't know the spelling!) Called me to say they had to wait to schedule until they approved it. Which is totally understandable. However, Caden saw the photos I had posted and felt they didn't paint an accurate picture of the work he had done and how much care he took to ensure he kept the inside of our home clean. After all, I had only put pictures of what outdoor mess was left. Not like I can put photos of the good job they did on putting new pipes in, though I should have posted a photo of the new shut off we have. The original pipes and plumbing done by the developer made it so that the only shut off was AT the water meter on the street, and for that you needed a special wrench to shut it off. Now we have one as soon as you open the crawl space and it's very easy to shut off. Now to get back to our story, Caden decided he didn't want to come back to do the cartridges since it seemed I had only posted negative photos to Yelp, which doesn't fully represent their company. That was relayed to me through our landlord. I was pretty annoyed as I only posted true photos. But they didn't tell the full story in Caden's defense. I called back and spoke to Isabelle and told her I wasn't posting anything malicious or to be rude, I had in fact wanted and intended to give them a great review until he wouldn't come back because that's super frustrating for me. Especially since those little leaks are driving me nuts. Isabelle called me back and said that Caden wanted to speak to me about it so he then called me. Caden let me know that my husband told him that everything looked great when they left and they don't have the ability to pressure wash concrete, but did the best they could. I told him that I swept the garage and driveway twice and used our leaf blower to get rid of the rest of the dirt. I had to do that since we use the garage for all of our coming and going and I knew that mud and dirt would get tracked in if we didn't. Caden said he understood and he apologized for any miscommunication on their end as far as cleanup and asked if I still wanted him to finish the repairs. I said yes, and honestly should have apologized for any miscommunication on my end too, and we agreed that they would coordinate with our landlord to finish. I have no doubt he will do a great job as he did with the other plumbing. I personally think that they deserve 5 stars because as young as Caden is, to have taken the initiative to speak to me about the photos we came to an agreement and he saw I wasn't trying to misrepresent their company. He also never asked me to change, remove or alter them or my review, like another company I experienced last year did. They have both quality of work and integrity as well as solid customer service here. Hope we can schedule that leak being fixed soon! I'll take before and after videos. Because they are BAD! In addition to replacing the pressure valve the technician also took care of the water shutoff valve and reinstalled everything making it look more professional than it did originally. The other thing was the speed of service. Considering how long run times can be these days they were able to get me scheduled in less than a week of my phone call and they arrived with all the necessary parts and were finished in under an hour. Don't trust these guys. I had them take a look at the toilet in my rental because it was leaking…read morearound the rubber flapper. I told them over the phone exactly what was wrong and that the internal mechanism would need to be replaced. They went out on the call, took my money, yet refused to fix the problem. After talking to the owner, it is apparently their policy to not work on toilet mechanisms. He actually recommended that instead of spending $25 on a new flapper mechanism that I should spend $600 on a brand new toilet. It is completely absurd to buy a new toilet in this situation and they should have informed me of their policy the first time I talked to them. These guys are crooks...find a different plumber.

Let me start by saying I bought a mess...like you do when you buy a house that was built in the…read more50's. The previous owner was a carpenter, aka knew just enough to be dangerous. So, they did an add on and a whole bunch of plumbing which they did not vent properly or cut off correctly. So, there's an overflow that shouldn't exist and isn't a problem till it overflows but since there isn't proper venting, it does. I know its an issue and one I have been trying to get fixed since I bought the house in 2005. The problem is that the clog happens every year or so where is slow builds, the whole thing backs up and I need to get a pro in. The problem is that I was always at work when the other homeowner would have the plumber come out. So, I never got answers, an estimate or a person who did more than the bare minimum for some crazed price. I'm also a female so, being honest here...we really get the short end most of the time since its going to be a guy who is going to talk down to us, assume we know nothing and overcharge. And then come Monday night...it starts... And then Tuesday I did laundry which took the clog from a slight to a full bathtub. In addition, I genuinely have been meaning to get a plumber out anyway since another fun spot has been the trickle coming out of the kitchen sink. Zero water pressure which is another "issue" separate but, again, the other person would have the plumber fix yet no explanation or exploration of a permanent fix (of course not - since we have to keep calling you!). A friend was getting some general jobs done around her house and had a maintenance guy she was going to send my way but then he threw his back out and she found Juvenal. I also went onto the ole Facebook and asked friends to throw some names into the hat. Sure enough a lot were the big companies or were just douchey when I called. It really was between Juvenal and another company but when I called those guys on a Friday they scheduled me for Tuesday AND, get this...he'll message you when he is 20 minutes out yet NO SERVICE WINDOW! What?? So I am supposed to basically take the day off work, MAYBE? I called Juvenal who said between 9-10 am the next day (Saturday). He arrived right at 10am and from the moment he arrived I was impressed - he was super friendly and genuinely was listening and talking back and forth with me plus he had a some ideas from the start. He was so respectful and explained everything he was doing to me clearly. So, my father had his own remodeling business BUT I am not a plumber, in a pinch I know where to shut a valve off and if you explain to me the engineering of the issue I get it. He did and was amazing. Plus, I had two other issues I wanted to discuss getting pricing to have done (provided I had someone I could trust and work with) and also I was hoping to have him look at the kitchen water pressure. He brought it up himself and offered to repair it for me. His prices were amazing and he took his time to fix it not just correctly but clean. Everytime we would have a plumber out I knew because the drain was fine but I was cleaning the kitchen and bathroom. He did all of that! Plus explained to me why it keeps happening and how we can permanently fix it which is not nearly as drastic as I thought it would be. I cannot wait to get started on other projects with him to finally bring my plumbing up to being correct! I was amazed at his knowledge and willingness to not just explain what is happening but to do it so well. I have basic knowledge thanks to my dad BUT most people don't. He explained it so beautifully that I genuinely feel like if I was not an all knowledgeable I would have completely understood. And he was not talking down and anything of the like - it was a genuine conversation between two people which means so very much! I wish he did electrical too but I ill just have to settle for finding a plumber I intend to stay VERY loyal to. Oh and the kitchen sink trickle...its so weird to have legit water pressure again - I was so annoyed even thinking about calling around to get an appointment etc so I put it off forever! Needed new water heater, got quotes from Fusion and Home Depot. HD was 20% less BUT only quoted…read morethe water heater and the install with the caveat that any addition items or work would be added on. I've worked with HD before, and have had no issue, so I think they are fine I have no beef with them. Fusion gave a detailed quote of all items to be replaced and the model of water heater. The quote included new water hoses (stainless steel) , new gas hose, new earthquake straps, the addition of an expansion tank (which I think is now required for code). Everything that the job needed was on the quote. Baring unforeseen issues (which happen) I knew exactly what the cost was going to be. Some of the items may have not absolutely needed replacement, but you don't want a $30 hose to ruin a $800 water heater (which is what happened to my last water heater and why we are here today). The solution provided was complete. HD may have had a less expensive quote, but it would have gone up, so I think in the end HD was not really a better price. Given the good reviews online and detailed quote at what I felt was a fair price, the job went to fusion. From inquiry to initial response was very quick, a couple of hours maybe. All communication was timely. Install date was set for three days after my inquiry. The day of the install they were a little late, but I got a text communicating that and an arrival time. I appreciated that very much. When they showed John introduced himself, very polite, nice guy. Then they went to work. They completed the job in a few hours. They left the work area clean and removed the old water heater. The install was beautiful, I know it's a water heater, but damn it was a clean install. Fusion gets five stars. There is no aspect of this job that I can suggest a need for improvement. Price: Five Stars, since the price was close to HD, I feel that I paid a fair price Communication: Five Stars, responsive and let me know they were running late Install: five stars, you can just tell that they paid attention to detail and did a clean job.
