Now it's $938.70. This company is insane. I cannot recommend enough not doing business with them or you will be dealing with them for years. A Nightmare with Discovery's Billing and Leadership While my son's medical treatment was acceptable, my experience with Discovery's administrative and financial departments has been an unmitigated disaster. For nearly two years, I've been relentlessly trying to get them to submit a claim to my son's secondary insurance. Despite countless emails and phone calls, I've been met with an endless cycle of excuses, including claims of missed emails, misdirected communications, and empty promises of escalation and follow-up within 24 hours--promises that were never fulfilled. This gross incompetence has resulted in me paying approximately $3,000 out of pocket. To compound this frustration, Discovery inexplicably sent a fraudulent charge of over $400 to a collections agency. When I disputed this erroneous claim, the collection agency itself confirmed that Discovery verified the amount was invalid and ceased their collection efforts. It's clear that Discovery's insurance billing, accounting practices, and overall leadership are severely dysfunctional. Their operational failures have caused significant financial strain and immense personal frustration.

I get transferred, ask for the number, get questioned a few times why I need it, get placed on hold, and then get told Chase will call me back. What's up with you guys? If you don't know transfer to someone who does. That alone was extremely off putting.

Even after explaining the side effects I am experiencing due to the delay, I still have not received the support I need. When I spoke with Jeanette, she kept changing the reasons why my medication hadn't been refilled or why I hadn't received a call back from the doctor. At one point, she told me my insurance was not valid--without even having my file pulled up. I contacted my insurance company myself, and they confirmed there are no issues. Despite this, the office failed to set up my appointment the four different times I reached out. To make matters worse, when I asked to speak with a manager, Jeanette transferred me back to the main line instead of connecting me with anyone who could actually help. This level of negligence is unacceptable, especially in healthcare where people's lives and well-being are at stake. Since they do not want to help me , I will be taking the next step of reporting this office. Patients deserve staff who take their health seriously, follow through, and provide accurate information.

I have used them as a provider for four months, but I'm breaking up with them today…read more 1. They were nice enough in my first visit, but scheduled my appointment with a doctor who told me during our visit that he was quitting. Why would they place a new patient with a therapist who was leaving? 2. They are incessant about their TMS option. When I told them that the approximate $4,000 (!!!) cost was way out of my price range, they "discounted" it down to $1,000 magically, and repeatedly called me to schedule an appointment, even though I told them that was still too expensive at this time. 3. They have required a monthly visit the first four months, even though I was seeing my previous therapist once every six months for a condition I've had under control for 4+ years. 4. On this last visit, I was told by the provider that it would be two months until my next visit, and wrote me a prescription for 60-days instead of 30-days. 5. I was randomly assigned an appointment for today, one month after my last appointment. I did not schedule it, I did not ask for it. 6. Their office charged me $75 for a no-show appointment this morning. 7. The front desk receptionist, who obviously hates her job, told me that I was wrong about my appointment date, the follow-up date, and had no response when I asked why I would be scheduled for a 30-day check-in when my therapist wrote me a 60-day prescription. Seems to me like one of those groups that is taking advantage of the mental health provider shortage by treating their patients like cattle, nickel and diming them along the way. I've already opened a credit card dispute, but wanted to hop on here to warn everyone that this may be a good short-term solution if you are in desperate need of an appointment immediately, but find a solid practice with ethics and morals for the long-term.
