    Happy hour food menu

So, maybe it's just me, but I don't see what all the negative fuss is about here. Yes, it's a bar inside a hotel, but that's not the end of the world. I came here for happy hour recently (having exhausted many other non-chain options in the area) and was pleasantly surprised. They have a very long and rather extensive happy hour menu. It lasts M-F 3:20-7:20 and includes a variety of $3 foods and $4 drinks. My fiance and i were able to have a snack and a few rounds rather cheaply. The atmosphere was pretty modern and standard for a hotel. There's the typical dark wood, dark metal, and glass decorations. It had a number of bar stools and two-tops as well as a few booths to sit in. Our waiter was very friendly but not as attentive as he could've been. We were left looking for him several times, including for the bill. Yes, it's easy and convenient. But not really a spot I'd take my out of town friends.

Small bar, lots of tables around the sides. Usually quiet. Vast majority of the crowd are hotel guests. Several TVs. Sometimes the service is great sometimes not. Sometimes dreadful. Good drinks although they don't carry Hendricks. Seven beers on tap plus a few standards in bottle. Not much of a single malt selection. Around a dozen different wines by the glass but nothing remarkable. No port.

Staying at the Marriott and stopped in here for a quick bite at 8:30. I ordered the Fish and Chips and was pleasantly surprised. Quality cod deep fried to a perfect golden brown and very good fries to match. All for under 20$, I highly recommend this place if you're in the hotel.

Not bad for a happy hour special... You get what you pay for..$3 appetizers were OK..chicken wings were a little under cooked. Service was good though. I'd come back.

Six shrimp were in my shrimp Caesar salad for $18.

For under $70 two people can have crab cakes benedict, fried brussels, crispy French toast... I don't even remember. Like ten different things! I didn't have to eat again until 9pm. The food was great! Vinny, who was our handler (clearly he has training in special education or something because we that table. Or maybe the TIPS trainings have advanced to include messy brunch people) was fun, patient, and knowledgeable. This is THE SPOT for brunch on Sunday.

Unfortunately, service started off on the wrong foot. There was a very large party already on the patio, and I was seated behind them. I waited about 12-15 minutes before the rest of my group arrived, but no server ever came by. We decided to head inside to get re‑seated, but couldn't find a hostess anywhere. We eventually flagged down a random server in the bar area and asked if a four‑top could be cleared so we could sit there instead. Thankfully, once we moved inside, everything improved dramatically. Service from that point on was attentive and friendly. The "Peoples Hour" menu was a highlight--great pricing without feeling "cheap." Appetizers were $6-10, cocktails $6-8, wines $6, and beers $6.50. The Down & Dirty (a vodka martini variation without vermouth) was solid, and the Out of the Office...Forever rum punch was decent. For food, we tried several items: - Makers Mini Nachos with steak -- Generous toppings but the chips got soggy quickly under all the queso, sour cream, and guac, which is not necessarily a bad thing. - Taco-bout Fish -- Crispy cod with a lemon aioli; one of the better bites of the night. - Drop It Like It's Hot -- Really good chicken tenders with a spicy Comeback sauce. - Lil B sliders -- Nicely cooked and not overdone; the Comeback sauce added a nice kick. The space has an upscale sports‑bar vibe with TVs above and around the bar. Seating can feel tight when it's busy, and the noise level definitely climbs, so keep that in mind if you're looking for a quieter meal. Despite the rocky start, the rest of the evening was enjoyable. Good food, great happy hour pricing, and solid service once we were settled inside. I'd return--just probably not to the patio during a big party.

From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely taken care of. His recommendations were on point, and his energy really elevated the whole meal. We kicked things off with the nachos, and they absolutely did not disappoint--loaded, flavorful, and the perfect start. For our mains, we went with the Cadillac burger and the Canyon Creek burger, both cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. One beef and one bison. You can tell they really take pride in the quality of their food. Also, the fries were fresh and good. The salt and pepper onions set the bar high. But honestly, the standout for us was the half sour pickles they bring out--so fresh, crisp, and ridiculously good. We loved them so much we had to grab some to take home! Between the incredible food and even better service, this place really knocked it out of the park. We'll definitely be back. I also meant to mention a gentlemen came by at the end of the meal to clear some plates. I believe he may of been a manager (wore a tie) and gave us the story of the pickles and how they were processed and came to be a part of their establishment . Great touch to end the meal!

You may only use this space for 3 hours prior to flight departure. Not for any arriving flights. Complimentary access for Capital One card owners. Entry fee for non card holders (maybe $90?). Wait times are long as they sometimes cannot keep up with demands and limited seating areas. Sign in at the desk and you'll get a text when they have space. I waited 45 minutes. The check in area feels cramped with two podiums and way too many checkin staff crowded at the front. Once you get a text, you have 10 minutes to arrive or you may have to sign up again. Once checked in, you have an assigned seat based on size of your party. So you won't have a choice on preferred seating section. Once seated, scan the QR code on the table where you may place an order for any menu items including drinks. They also have an area with quick item snacks like cheese & crackers, hummus, veggies, meats and you can obtain your dessert items here. They offer fancy teas from Art of Tea and coffee. Paper cups available if you want to take a drink to go on your way out. Soft drinks & water available in the mini fridge. I tried the vegetarian and vegan options. The lentil soup was good and filling. Three cheese grill cheese is good but a bit too much cheese making it heavy. Also tried a rice with tofu & avocado. This was okay. Needed a sauce or some added flavor. My guava mocktail was refreshing. Hummus & veggies were good. The soft serve with cocoa nibs & sea salt was good. Comes in a cute smiling cup. There are no to-go items or take away options. So plan on staying seated to dine. There is free WiFi, charging stations at your seat, and single restroom available. I hope they add more healthy options. *** Tip - if there is a long wait time and you can't get in, they have a small cafe of quick items for sale. With a Cap One credit card, all items are half off! I got the vegan chickpea salad and a Pressed juice for roughly $12? Good deal at the airport! Coffee, croissants, and some of the items from the lounge are also sold here.

For early morning flyers, they offer a continental breakfast from 5-6am, but be aware that the hot breakfast buffet doesn't get fully set up until about 15-30 minutes after that window. The biggest downside for me is AMEX's updated pet policy--only service animals are allowed now. The lounge has always been my go‑to when flying out of DCA, but since I often travel with my pets, I've had to switch to other lounge options because of this change. On the plus side, charging outlets are plentiful and easy to access at almost every seat, except in the dining area. Staff members are consistently quick about clearing dishes, which keeps the space feeling clean and comfortable. The restrooms are modern, spotless, and well maintained every time I visit. A small tip: the elevator is *very* slow, so if you're able, take the stairs--it's much faster. Overall, it's still a good lounge with solid amenities and a relaxing atmosphere--when it isn't crowded. If not for the updated pet policy, it would be a five-star experience for me.

I did have to hunt for a seat, but lucked out and got one of the honeycomb-style single cubicles in the back. Also, in spite of the lounge being very busy, there was no wait for the shower. The shower was a waterfall style showerhead and also had an accessible showerhead too. Also, they were able to hook me up with a toothbrush and toothpaste.
