Walking in the store this time there was no foul odor other than fish. They were busy as almost every table was occupied. They only had one person taking orders and it took about 25-30 minutes for us from the time we sat down to the time we ate. The flavors were there but you can get better quality sushi for the same or a buck or two less per roll. It took 24 minutes for one roll to-go. This place I used to recommend, lately they have raised their prices and gotten very cheap on their food, the owners have obviously dropped the ball. I went in there tonight. The prices were high and the sushi was his thin as a paper. The waitress came over and asked me how everything was so I told her. This was my first time trying this sushi spot and honestly it was a rough experience. As soon as I walked in there was a strong vomit-like smell hanging in the air. It completely killed my appetite and made it hard to even look at the menu with interest. The service was just okay. A younger person was running the front and while I try to be understanding, I've kind of stopped expecting much from customer service with the younger crowd. At this point I just assume the bare minimum and avoid disappointment. I got my roll and took one bite but it wasn't enjoyable at all.
