We had a very disappointing experience with Bella Bridesmaid. I had filled out their "make an appointment" form on their website when I was helping my sister (the bride) in searching for our perfect dresses. My sister (the bride) had a very particular style in mind of a gold sequin dress for us bridemaids. I never received an email or phone call from the store inviting us for an appointment after this initial request. This turned us off and we started our search elsewhere. We were not finding anything anywhere (we honestly went to sooo many dress stores beforehand) that was anywhere close to what my sister had envisioned, so my sister finally made the call to the store to set an appointment. We found an amazing dress that was newly stocked here and exclusive to the Chicago Bella Bridesmaid shop that was so perfect with gold sequins and mermaid style that would really go well with my sister's satin mermaid wedding dress. The problem was, the sample dresses didn't have a size tag. The gold one was too small on all of us there trying it on, but they had a black one that they claimed was a size "14" that fit one of our girls perfectly and fit me a bit snug. So they recommended I go a size up to 16. When my credit card charge came in, I was charged an extra $38. I called the store to find out why, they said "oh you went with a 16, which is our plus size which comes with a plus size fee". I immediately wanted to cry. But what was done, was done. Fast forward to our dresses coming in: I tried on my 16 and it was clearly HUGE on me. I could put the dress on without having to unzip it, that's how large it was. The girl who fit perfectly in the "14" at the store tried on her 14 and it was also a bit big on her. I tried it on, and was even still big on me! My sister called Bella and they had her and myself come in with the 16 and 14; I tried on both of them for them so they could take pictures, and then they had me try on their "14" which was clearly smaller than our 14 we had ordered but fit almost perfectly (it was a tad big). We said that clearly that sample 14 was not a 14 but a size 12. They then took my measurements and said that I had lost a dress size from the last time I was in; but that they would talk to their manager the next day about everything and call us back. The next day, I got a phone call from the manager that basically said: "We are standing by our designer who told us the sample dress is a 14. It sounds like you lost weight which changed your dress size from the time you originally ordered. We can recommend a great seamstress for you for alterations." So now I have spent $38 extra on a plus size dress I didn't need and $95 for alterations... Almost the cost of a whole new dress, and they did nothing to help us. Just the absolute worst in customer service we have ever received. It's unfortunate, because they really do have a great selection; but the hassle of ordering through them and the rude service makes it hard to want to recommend to anyone. read more

Brides: If you like your bridesmaids, do NOT consider or purchase dresses from Bella Bridesmaid. I rarely post, but having been a bride and bridesmaid (three times) this year, my opinion is rooted in recent experience. Bella Bridesmaid sells non-returnable, overly priced dresses which require considerable, expensive alterations. They do not provide any alterations services nor did our salesperson offer advice regarding the potential cost of alterations for certain dresses. They have no liability if the dresses arrive late, do not fit, or arrive in a much cheaper fabrication and construction than the sample (which is what happened to us). I recently wore a Lela Rose dress from Bella Bridesmaid to my brother's wedding. Bella Bridesmaid insists on taking meticulous measurements, but they mean NOTHING. Why does it take so many weeks to receive a dress that is just a sack? I've worked in apparel and have never seen a more poorly constructed, shapeless dress for the price. My alterations cost $150 and all other bridesmaids had similar alterations bills. We wear sizes 0 - 4 with very normal proportions. I know I am an exception, but I've never had to alter a dress I've purchased off the rack. Their showroom on the Gold Coast is the nicest feature, and even this has very limited fitting room space, which seems to me the point of having a brick and mortar location. We also had difficulty securing an appointment during after-work or weekend times and while we were there, the staff rushed us through the process. The only reason I can see going to Bella Bridesmaids is if the bride is very particular about having a unique color, but be warned that the fabric/color of the dresses we wore was different than the sample. You would be better off having dresses custom made. Or, I recommend trying a number of styles and dresses from many other retailers (J Crew, Ann Taylor, Nordstrom, etc.) with an excellent return policy. read more

Let me start off with saying we were 30 minutes early to our apointment, one of the associates decided to grab my sister's arm (her being the bride) and rudely tell us we can wait at the Starbucks down the block. The place seemed rather bougie, considering the location, but after trying on multiple dresses, we realized they were nothing over mediocre. The dresses were the same quality you could find at a local bridesmaids dress boutique. The woman who helped us wasn't bad, except I was 6 weeks pregnant and I explained to her I'm due 2 weeks before my sister's wedding. So she said Colleen, an associate who's been pregnant in multiple weddings, would be more than willing to help us. I finally felt relief after being extremely stressed about figuring out sizing. Well all Colleen did was make it worse. As soon as I explained the situation, she condescendingly said "well this is going to be a problem." I just looked at her as if it's her problem, because her being the professional, she shouldve at least been able to get me some positive feedback rather than patronizing me. She asked me my size, and I told her I'm a size 0. She had me order the biggest size, which is a 10. Remind you, I'm a size 0. So now I get to tailor more than half a dress off the bridesmaid dress that she so "professionally" reccomended. Lastly, there's a couple girls in my sisters wedding who are a little bit bigger in size, I would recommend that maybe the store has dresses available to try on in a bigger size, not everyone's the size if a barbie. It's sad that they had to walk out in every dress they tried on, and none of them fit. That's pretty embarrassing on the stores behalf. read more

I went to Chicago to go wedding dress shopping with my best friends, one of whom will also be a bride. Yes, they carry bridal gowns as well as the bridesmaid dresses. We went to 6 shops in 2 days. Bella was the first, because they had the Saja dresses there, and those were more my style than any I had seen online. I do not dress up much, nor am I interested in some frou-frou princessy dress. I was looking for something under $1000, and they had lots to choose from. Of the 6 shops (some generic, some boutiques), Bella was the best. I didn't even have to go to the rest, though some of the staff at some of the shops really knew what they were doing. (Some did not.) Erin was fantastic! In this business, you must trust the expert - they look at your body and know what will look good on you. I tried on many of the Saja dresses, and Erin recommended one non-Saja dress for me, which was THE dress, in the end. I wasn't sure what to do, and she knew I was only in town for the weekend and going to a bunch of other shops, so she was very nice to invite me back the next day (if I had patience) if I needed to try on the favorites one more time. We did exactly that, for comparison, and she was super helpful fitting us in. I called later that day to order the dress. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, detail-oriented, informative, and really nice and fun. I couldn't have asked for a better shopping experience. The boutique was so cute, too! While purchasing bridesmaid dresses can often be a difficult experience, Bella Bridesmaids in Chicago makes it much, much worse. Our sales consultant had a very negative attitude. She was constantly going to the back room during our already brief appointment to attend to other things and she was clearly more interested in helping to another group of girls that seemed "fancier." Only once we made it clear that we were going to purchase our dresses that day did she perk up! The bride and I even commented to one another that we wish we didn't have to give her a commission, because she had been so useless. Now I have had to spend roughly 50% of the price of the dress on alterations because the woman provided very poor advice as to what size I should get. For a $260 dollar dress - there is no reason alterations should cost that much. But I blame the poor guidance of the woman at Bella Bridesmaids - with no customer service skills and just in it to make a quick buck. There are many other places with beautiful dresses, better exchange policies, and good customer service. There is no reason to go to Bella! read more

Didn't have the best experience in the customer service department at the Chicago location of Bella Bridesmaids. I emailed to schedule an appointment close to the date I needed to come in. The customer service rep confirmed multiple times which day and time I needed even though I clearly stated that in my first email. But that's ok, they were just being thorough. The day I went in they didn't have me down in the book, and the owner made a comment about how I must have emailed in very late the night before. I had tried calling already and did respond to the previous emails so I felt that comment and attitude wasn't entirely warranted. The sales rep who did my fitting was very friendly and helpful though, and she was super quick which I appreciated. So all in all, comes out to average. read more

I could write a very long story here, describing what went wrong with all four bridesmaid dresses we ordered from Bella Bridesmaid and how the customer service was spotty (at times shockingly inappropriate) but instead I will simply say stay away. I will say, however, that Maureen (Manager) was professional throughout all of the problems and drama. I was impressed by her recent phone call apologizing for everything and the offer of a 20% credit to each bridesmaid. I just wish we had been treated with the same respect and care throughout the process. read more

After leaving my previous review, I was contacted by Maureen, the owner of the store. She apologized for the mistake in fitting and offered to order me a new dress at their expense. I went in for a second fitting with Maureen, and it was determined that I did need a size 8 after all. Maureen also contacted one of the tailors that they used to determine if they would be able to do a quick turn around on the alterations I would need since the dress would arrive about 2.5 weeks before wedding. The dress arrived last week and I have been fitted for alterations and will pick up the dress 4 days before the wedding. I am updating my review from 1 star to 3; they did make a mistake in my fitting, but they have definitely done what they could to make up for it. read more

Simply not the experience a bridal party is looking for when shopping for dresses. We made the appointment about 6 weeks in advance and I received about 3 emails back and forth asking about what we were looking for, but they also were strongly recommending I bring less people than I told them I was bringing (my three bridesmaids, my mother and my "man of honor"). It was slightly off putting that they were telling me there would be too many opinions thrown around, but we had planned an entire day with my mother and best friend who is male, so I told them I'd be bringing the extra two people. They agreed to that and I found it a little strange but moved past it. We had an appointment earlier in the day at Brideside in West Loop, which was incredibly professional and a lot of fun, so for Bella to follow them was very disappointing. Barely greeted at the door, no offer of water or bubbles, and the rep we worked with was very unorganized. She told us there were a lot of dresses that we wouldn't have time to order or would have to pay for a rush order. It was my fault for not really realizing that bridesmaid dresses are made to order & that six months advance was cutting it close, but perhaps that could have been mentioned to me when we were going back and forth so much about the appointment 6 weeks beforehand? The way the dresses are organized are a disarray - she told us to shop around and pull dresses but then continued to keep shutting us down- "oh wait not that rack, that designer wouldn't make it here in time" "oh sorry yes that rack is also mixed designers and all those dresses you just pulled wouldn't make it in time either". After that when the ladies were trying on, the rep basically stood there on her computer instead of approaching the fitting rooms and offering assistance. The fitting rooms are also very sporadic throughout the store so we were all over the place instead of being able to enjoy the appointment together. They also only had two available fitting rooms for us when we had brought 3 people to be trying on. The rep was sweet, but just not attentive. 15 minutes into the appointment I already knew I would not trust the store with ordering the dresses. At the end the rep told me that she would email me the favorite dresses we had chosen and all their information- that was two days ago and I haven't received anything. So they don't seem to care much about making the sale either. Just all around pretty lackluster, especially for a store where the grand majority of the dresses are $250+. I would definitely look elsewhere! read more

My friend was in town from NYC and I am in her wedding, so we decided it could be fun to look at dresses. Our experience was horrible. We didn't have an appointment. I tried to call that day and ask for details, but no one ever picked up. So we went anyway, hoping to at least browse. When we got there and told them we didn't have an appointment--they said we could browse, but not try anything on. Fine. We looked around. We got 0 attention from the staff. There were several staff members there and I felt because we didn't have an appointment they didn't want to give us the time of day. Additionally, we set down on a couch and then were asked to move for others who had an appointment--in case they wanted to sit...but we could go to the back corner and sit... At that point we left. We felt disrespected and like second-class citizens. My friend will NOT be going back there. read more

Very new Bridesmaid boutique, opened in September 07'. They have over 160 dresses, Designers for this store include : Coren Moore ,Simple Silhouettes, Alvina Valenta, Kathlin Argiro Nicole Miller, Melissa Sweet, Priscilla of Boston,Priscilla of Boston Vineyard, Hera Couture, Anna Elyse. It is run by a mother and daughter team, Kathleen and Erin Casey, whom are super sweet and helpful and just a pleasure to work with. They are extremely busy and run by appointment only, though it will be well worth it. You don't feel any pressure, but you feel good from the moment you walk in the store to when you leave. The selection is great, the dresses range from $200 - $450, with many options and colors as well. I highy recommend going there, the dresses are different and beautiful. They also carry accessories by these lines: Blue Tux Shoes & Bags, Husak Design Jewelry, Heart Paper Soul, One and Only by Rebecca Lee, Ms. & Mrs. They will be opening another location in Milwaukee sometime in March! read more

DO NOT COME HERE!!! 4 months ago i called to order a bridesmaid dress for a wedding I'm in next month in Indianapolis. They said that before they will order it, I have to come into the store to get sized. I came in and they took my size and asked which wedding party i am with. I gave them all of my information, including address, date needed by, etc. I called earlier this week because i was concerned i hadn't heard from them yet. Turns out THEY NEVER ORDERED THE DRESS. They claim i stated that i was waiting to order the dress through the brides store, which makes NO SENSE as the bride lives in Texas. I asked if they could rush ship and they said there wasn't enough time. Not only were they unapologetic about completely dropping the ball, they did absolutely nothing to help me out of the bind i was in. I had my mom call around a few places in St. Louis (where I'm from) and a store said they had no issues getting the dress in the next 3 weeks. It clearly proves that the people at Bella Bridemaid didn't even check to see if they could get it in time. Truly disappointing. I would not trust them with any important orders. read more

My MOH and I went to Bella Bridesmaid for our very first bridesmaid dress scouting trip and had a great experience. The girls that work there are sweet, super helpful, and honest. It was so great to get another opinion about what looked good on us, what would work for the whole party, and also to get their suggestions on colors, styles, and materials. What could have been a very overwhelming experience was actually a lot of fun. They have a great selection-- not too much that you can barely peel anything off the rack (I am looking at you, David's Bridal!) but enough good quality designers that I felt like I had tons of options. Bella had a great selection and range of prices, which was very satisfying. However, two of my bridesmaids did not have a positive experience working with the sales rep; both were pregnant at the time, so they had questions regarding best styles, fit, and adjusting accordingly as the wedding would be immediately postpartum for both. The rep was not able to provide any feedback or guidance, and did not really steer them in any direction. We would expect that it is not uncommon for bridesmaids to be in this situation, so we were surprised by her overall lack of knowledge. Overall, their experience was not very positive as a result. I went to Bella Bridesmaids to try on the Saja dresses. The staff were helpful, polite, and great about suggesting accessories and making the whole experience pleasant without being pushy. They happily made another appointment for me when my mom would be in town a few weeks later and were similarly great then. When the staff saw what I did and didn't like in certain dresses they happily brought over others they thought I might like, including some (way cheaper) bridesmaids dresses. I didn't wind up buying my wedding dress from Bella Bridesmaids but it was my best formal wedding dress shopping experience. I felt attended to but not fussed over, even on weekend appointments. read more

I am very disappointed in my experience working with Bella Bridesmaids. I got a dress with the bridal party for my brother's wedding. When I received the dress, it was a complete mess with the fabric cut incorrectly. It took me a few days and many phone calls and emails to finally convince both Bella Bridesmaids and Dessy to take the dress back. I was expecting a fixed dress... but instead got the same dress back with a few tacks on the front panels to disguise the problem. My tailor tried to fix the problem, but due to the incorrect cut of the fabric, my dress still looks sloppy. I could not be more frustrated that I will be in family pictures that we will keep forever with a dress that looks sewn together by a child. Bella Bridesmaids only paid a small portion of the cost of alterations. In the end, my dress will cost close to $500 for a dress I will never be able to wear again. I really enjoyed bringing each of my 4 bridesmaids here (I had to do 4 separate appointments since they're all from out-of-town and picked their own dress), and Erin gave each one of them so much personal attention. I looked for bridesmaid dresses at other bridal salons, and those stores just don't give bridesmaids a lot of thought when they're trying to sell wedding gowns for thousands of dollars in the next room. But at this place it's all about the bridesmaids, and I was so happy with the level of customer service they gave us. I have one bridesmaid that's trying to get pregnant, and Erin's been really patient and helpful in ordering the right size dress for her. As with most stores, I'd avoid Saturday appointments. The shop is small so it gets pretty loud and crazy when you get more than 5 or 6 girls in there. Also, their selection of shoes and accessories is just ok - definitely not their focus. read more

Getting an appointment here was probably the easiest thing about the experience. The space is rather large however they are not equipped to accommodate groups. We weren't even big just.4 of us. Anyway, we all came prepared to try on dresses but were told that only 1 of us could because they only have 2 dressing rooms. The other was not in use and we were the only scheduled appointment. I don't remember who the sales associate was that helped us but she seemed disinterested and most of the replies we got from her consisted of "I'm not sure" or "I don't really know". They have quite a large variety of dresses and styles but are very limited with sizes. They probably have nothing bigger than a 4 and a few size 16's here and there. For what they charge I think the customer service needs to be top notch. Definitely a miss. read more

Overall I was a little disappointed with Bella. I just felt super rushed the entire time. We came in for our appointment--the girls didn't get to pick out the styles that they wanted to try on---they were corralled into a dressing room and were handed a series of dresses. Some of them were aggressive about what they wanted and had done their research and requested to try on specific styles, but for my girls that weren't sure it was a crappy experience. One of my girls felt very pressured, and came to me unsure about her purchase. So we cancelled the original and then made another appointment. She wanted to try on a specific style during this appointment. She took off work early and came down only to find they didn't even have the style! She ended up going with a different dress. In the end it all turned out, but I was really expecting a more boutique personalized experience not a cattle prodding. EDIT: I was contacted in regards to this post, and would like to state that my bridesmaids did not feel "pressured". In fact, they felt overall that everything was fine :) But from my personal perspective I certainly felt rushed along during our appointment. And then again, I (again me personally) was very frustrated that they didn't have the dress that they said they did. They did call and warn 30 minutes before hand but at that point we had waited too long to put purchasing the dress off even another day so it didn't matter. And I don't think that if my uber organized bridesmaid had sent a reminder earlier that day that they would have noticed at all. Again, these are my personal thoughts. They did try extra hard at that point to find her a replacement which is very appreciated. In the long run I love all my girls and I wanted them to have an awesome personalized experience at a shop that made them feel special. I thought that Bella would be that and it wasn't. They give you an hour, you share a dressing room, they don't let you browse or pick out anything. I just feel like it was hectic---like they are stretched too thin. They have a cool selection, and 3 of my 4 girls purchased there. With that selection and more attention to detail it could have been truly awesome and not just "fine". That's what I wanted. If you are looking for bridesmaid dresses I honestly do NOT recommend going to Bella Bridesmaid. I LOVED our consultant but the atmosphere was definitely less than ideal. It was a small studio space with AT LEAST four other wedding parties trying on dresses. The atmosphere was loud, hectic and overall stressful. You and your girls deserve a fun experience of getting to play dress up; not struggling with dress styles because another party is hogging them. read more

The process of working with Bella Bridesmaid was fine. We picked funky dresses designed by Chiarla which were over $400 each. On the day of my wedding, the dresses caused by far the biggest issue of anything. The zippers were horrible. Every girl had an issue zipping her dress - not because they were too small but because the zippers would get stuck where the fabric changed. The zipper actually had the same issue in the store and the sales person assured us that the issue was just that the dress had been tried on so frequently. One girl had tried on the dress twice previously and both times it took her husband 5-10 minutes and all of his strength to zip the dress. The day of my wedding we had 4 girls, a photographer and two wedding planners try to zip the dress for 30 minutes. We tried pins, laying down, sucking in, using three people to hold the fabric together. Nothing would work. Finally one of the wedding planners literally sewed her into the dress. This whole process took so long that the entire day was delayed and we had 45 minutes less for pictures - which obviously is priceless in terms of the pictures we didn't get but was also extremely expensive in terms of the time spent with two photographers and two videographers standing around waiting. Once she was sewn in and we were riding around on the bus taking pictures, another girl's zipper spontaneously broke. She was literally just sitting, she did not move, sneeze, stretch, anything to cause the zipper to break, yet it did. The dress was unzipped completely with the zipper just hanging out in the middle for half of our picture session (both her bra and her underwear were visible from the side) - not to mention it was 40 degrees outside. She was a really good sport about holding her dress in place but she was very exposed and it was ridiculous. When we got to the museum for the ceremony the wedding planner sewed her into her dress as well. When I explained these issues to Bella Bridesmaid they asked that we send both dresses in so that they can verify what happened. Both girls had to rip their dresses off after the wedding since they were SEWN INTO THEM. One girl threw hers away since it was obviously ruined. The other one happened to keep her dress and sent it in. They are reviewing the dress but believe the zipper "may have been faulty". They are sounding like they are going to repair the dress and send it back to her - because everyone knows that your goal in life is to wear the bridesmaids dress that broke mid-day AGAIN. They absolutely refused to do anything about the dress that the one bridesmaid threw away. They would not consider giving a full or even partial refund to compensate us for the time and angst it caused on the most important day of my life. We spent over $1200 with this company and I could not be more disappointed with their customer service. I would not suggest this place to anyone. read more

I have been a bridesmaid several times and this was the best shop I have ever purchased a dress from. All the dresses are out, clear to see, and nicely hung. The space is airy and comfortable and the dressing rooms are large enough for a couple people. The sales woman had an excellent attitude and her size suggestion was spot on. I didn't require any alterations, NOT ONE! The dress was pricey, but we'll worth it! I have actually worn it again to a cocktail party. Highly recommended from this repeat bridesmaid! read more

I looked at bridesmaids dresses here for my wedding. I decided to book an appointment here because of the great desginers that they had advertised. However, I did not like their selection. I was surprised that they didn't carry the full line of each designer, though (i.e. Priscilla of Boston). I had seen some dresses online and they did not have them in the store. The dresses were very much like your typical bridesmaid dress. I even thought they looked more business casual-like something you would wear to work! And, they were expensive for something that was more fashion-forward (which is what I was looking for). The owner (Erin) was a pleasure to work with. She is extremely professional and helps the girls put the finishing touches on the dress (i.e. tying perfect bows, adding a sash, etc.). She offers suggestions for each dress and keeps the process moving. She asks, Yes? or No?, and then gets you in the next dress. She follows up, too, which is nice. I got an email thanking me for coming in and another email asking if I had any questions (referring to the names of the dresses I had tried on). If you have a lot of bridesmaids and want to find a plain dress that is flattering for all body types, I guess I would try this store. But, the dresses are going to be in the $250 and up range. read more

I went to Bella Bridesmaids for a "courtesy fitting" last night and had a good experience. My friend in Boston had narrowed the choice down to the Anna Elyse, Audrey style with Long Skirt but left it up to the bm's to choose our own bodices. Thankfully, Bella had several of the bodice options for me to try. I worked with Sarah, who was friendly and helpful, and was able to decide on the one shoulder style fairly quickly. Stopped into Bella Bridesmaids last week and on the way I swear I thought I was going to have an anxiety attack before even walking into the place. ONLY because I have 10 bridesmaids and they are all Divas (sorry girls). I was ready to get this thing over with! Walked in and was immediately greeted and asked how they could help. I told them we were there for an appointment and they offered us water and a seat. The place is so cute and organized! Which if you've been shopping for bridesmaid dresses, you know organization is KEY. Anyway, we met our shopper and she was so sweet. She already pulled a few styles and I loved every single one. I calmed down once I realized, they really know what they're doing! The experience was so relaxing, I mean honestly. I even started trying things on because it was actually fun. I picked the dresses I wanted for my bridesmaids and went on my way. All of them, so perfect. They have probably one of the best selections in Chicago especially because they are dedicated to bridesmaid dresses. If you've started shopping you know that when you go to a bridal place, they're usually a bit annoyed because their sale won't be as much as it is with a gown. Here, you don't have that issue. They're happy to help either way! My review would have definitely been 5 stars but I have one tiny tiny issue. The prices. I have 10 bridesmaids who are in all walks of life. Some nieces in college, and then my accomplished best friends. So of course what they can afford is not all the same. I'm doing a mismatched theme so I figured I could address everyone's needs by making sure my friends are looking fabulous without necessarily looking at the price and that my baby cousin and niece also felt amazing in a less expensive dress. I let my shopper know that I need one dress that is extremely price competitive and that wasn't really an option here. Also, they do not share prices that openly. I had to wait until I left and received an email w/ prices. Which I understand, they aren't on any of the dresses and it must be hard to remember all of them. Just wish they had some opening price point options to mix into the more expensive dresses. Overall though, great experience! My maids of honor are 100% buying from here and so will some of my bridesmaids. read more

I went to two appointments and had a very negative experience. Not only was our salesperson extremely rude but she was also very unhelpful. I told her multiple times that I was not set on any dresses and was open to suggestions and she brought me only a few dresses to try and said "well I saw at your last appointment that you were concerned about prices so you are going to be very limited" in a super rude tone despite the fact that I never once said that. My friends with me were also very put off and were amazed that she never once tried to help them fit into the dresses by clipping them in or by giving us her opinion when asked multiple times. I ended up going elsewhere where they were very professional and helpful and actually helped us fit into the dresses and gave us opinions and other options to try. read more

Went back here for my own wedding, and I was a little disappointed. Although the staff was still very nice, I felt their dress selection was lacking. I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for, but I knew I didn't want the typical A-line bridesmaid dress. Unfortunately, much of what they carried was just that. I found one dress that I liked, but it was priced at $500+ per dress!! I think it is still a good place to look, but I wish they had a wider variety of designers with different looks. read more

I was VERY happy with the bridesmaid dresses we picked here- the color and style were both perfect for what I had in mind. However, the dresses were a tad expensive and I found the staff less than pleasant each time I called or stopped in. There was a large group finishing up when we got there and the staff seemed to be fawning over them and I feel like we got less than stellar attitudes from them all. read more

I recommend going here for your bridesmaid dresses. They have a great selection and they don't waste your time. There wasn't an ugly dress in the store. All of the staff are helpful, nice and honest. My bridesmaid dresses were one of the easiest decisions I made. I found 2 Vineyard dresses online that I liked and I went in and tried them on- done and done. I came back 2 times- once with my Jr. Bridesmaid and once with my Chicago bridesmaids- for everyone to decide what style they wanted. Erin was always really nice and helpful- I love hanging out in that shop. I had 2 members of the party that were out of town and they were able to call in and get their sizes figured out pretty easily. We had the dresses within 2 months without any issue. I used Bella when I was planning my wedding for my bridesmaids. I ended up making an appointment at Bella (very simple!) and brought most of my bridesmaids in for an hour or two of trying on dresses. The staff was very attentive to us & made the process super fun & easy. Picking my bridesmaids dresses was one of the easiest decisions I made while wedding planning. I have been to the Bella Bridesmaids store several times in the past month. From the first appointment where Sarah helped me decide which dresses would fit the vision of my wedding best (and trust me, there is a lot to choose from) to my other visits with some of my bridesmaids to pick out which style they like, I have been nothing but impressed. The store is very clean and organized and the girls that work there are helpful and friendly. It's very easy to make appointments and they do not pressure you to make a decision right away or to buy the dresses that day.
