I'm not quite sure what to say, so I'll say as much as I can while trying not to sound overly zealous. It was hands down the best food I've ever eaten. You want the truth? I hate Italian food. maybe it's because I grew up in Texas with amazing Mexican, and maybe Italian just isn't the strong suit here. But my god. It was transcendental to me. The atmosphere? fine. The service? good. The food though? My god. I literally stepped outside to cry in the parking lot. I was silent for most of my meal. The only things I said were "it's straight up wrong how good this is" and "I want to shake the man who made this meal's hand". Unfortunately, I no longer live in Texas. I moved to another state, and came to visit friends. Butc I will legitimately be thinking of Bella's on the plane ride home. I've been borderline silent for the past few hours. I can honestly say, without exaggerating, my palate has changed. If I could give it 10 stars with yelp's 5 star limit, I would. We really enjoy Bella's. The people are very friendly and accommodating. The service can become slow when the servers see someone they know and gets chatty. That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. Friendly servers are super but need to be mindful of their other tables. The food is very good and the menu has a lot to choose from. They are really good about customizing choices to your particular taste. The restaurant is very casual, it can be loud (usually people having fun) and you can bring your own wine. Tried Bella's for the first time tonight. They were busy but were seated within a few minutes of arrival. My husband ordered Hawaiian pizza. I had chicken piccata & my parents split an order of Fettuccini Alfredo. The pizza was excellent & my chicken piccata was pretty good. My parents liked their Fettuccini Alfredo but the portion was rather small compared to other restaurants & really not enough to split between two adults even with lighter appetites. They won't do that again. I was glad they had ordered some cheese sticks & the fresh warm bread helped to round the meal. The staff was attentive, the restaurant was clean & we will probably go back sometime soon. I can eat Italian food often. read more

After eating here I about died and gone to heaven. Their cognac shrimp was one of the most delectable sauces i have ever tasted. Their lobster ravioli has generous portions of lobster and tasty cheese filled raviolis in their signature pink sauce. I also order a pizza to go and it's one of the best pizzas in Tyler that I've tried so far since it's hand stretched and tossed and cooked in a stone hearth oven. Salmon Dijonnaise: Dined here for the first time last night. Food was fantastic (including complimentary bread knots) and the salmon was perfectly crisp. Service was moderate. They had an issue with their system taking debit cards. Luckily we had a back up credit card, but this will impact if we come back. read more

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Tyler! They are so great at customer service and their food is authentic Italian! My husband absolutely loves their Linguini with White clam sauce. I loved my Veal Piccata and the eggplant Parmesan. Another plus is you order what you want. The only thing you get as a side is delicious rolls and butter. The cannoli is on point too! So very disappointed. My family and I went back for our first dine-in experience at Bella's since Covid. We continued to support them with delivery, although sometimes it left a lot to be desired. We get it. Local businesses need our support and benefit of the doubt right now. That being said, tonight was something all together different. Our service was very poor, slow, not especially helpful, they seemed stressed, but we let it go. We ordered calamari that was easily the worst I've ever had. Burned, rubbery stuff. I wouldn't eat it, but my husband is the type to eat what we've paid for. I ordered the Shrimp Fra Diavolo. This dish cost $15 and had five small shrimp in it with maybe a cup of pasta. The sauce was very watery and contained one wilted basil leaf. My husband ordered the Chicken Calabrese. His portions were larger but the vegetables were obviously canned, and the chicken was frozen and possibly precooked. Very underwhelming. My kids shared their usual favorite, Hawaiian pizza. They told us the ham tasted "funny", but we assumed they were being picky. Toward the end of our meal, my husband tasted the ham and honestly thought it might be spoiled. We were starving at it was late, so we did eat most of our food anyway. My real complaint is the cost versus quality that seems to have drastically gone downhill. We both felt so embarrassed for previously speaking so highly of Bella's to so many of our friends. This is now just another cheap, fast-food quality Italian place, masquerading as something it's not. Again, maybe costs had to be cut due to Covid, but some things just can't be forgiven. Spaghetti night at the nursing home. Sauces were very basic. No seasoning. Basil, oregano, garlic, even salt/pepper did not show up to the party tonight. We ordered fettuccine Alfredo and spaghetti and meat balls. This is where I start with most Italian restaurants. If you can impress with the simple dishes, then I try the more complex. The Alfredo sauce was a tad bland but a pinch of salt perked it up. The chicken was way over cooked and dry. Even with the over abundance of sauce, there was no redemption from that over cooked chicken. The meat balls were lack luster, too. They were missing the proper pan sear prior to baking and again, seasoning. Strongly resembled the frozen ones from Walmart. The red sauce was mostly crushed tomatoes. No basil, oregano, thyme, garlic or onion could be identified. For the price and environment, i just expected more taste. This experience, while not awful, was more like eating dinner of dollar store ingredients with a severe head cold. Brunos, Little Italy, and Roma's have you beat hands down. read more
