I got the classic Spaghetti Marinara. Lots of stuff on the plate. It came with a humongous piece of garlic bread. This made us get full quickly. For sure it's great for quick bites. It's closed Mondays. This is located on Central Avenue in a strip plaza so it's not authentic but it's still okay though.

Servers who care about your business because the business itself is more than just a part time job. The restaurant is quaint, and is perfectly suited for either a date night or a full-on family function. Their side room is plant big enough to host a private party or event, and I know they often book that room for exactly that. But the real focus for us is the pizza. The pans that are used over and over again. The buttery crust that is always crispy and not too think. The ripe tomatoes that are always seasoned perfectly... the real of the show at Louisa's is their sausage. It's literally like none other we've ever had and we love it!! My partner ordered a mocha. He said it was good. Parking: They have a shared lot out front and we were able to find a space without issue. Overall impression: I intend to come back to try more of their food items and other teas. The people who work here are wonderful and the location is great.

we went here tonight 2/11. I made reservations 3 weeks ago for 7:15 for 4 people. You would think that a reservation means actually having a reservation. Well I found as I walked in that there were people 10 deep waiting since 6:00 pm to be seated,. After spending 2 hours at the bar and then getting seated in the corner by force, it was the WORST RESTAURANT YOU COULD EVER GO TO, THE OWNER WAS INCONSIDERATE AND THEY HAD A MALE HOST THAT did nothing but walk around and pretend he was working, just putzed around acting like he was doing some good .. we never ate, we never got a server...or menus at 9:45 pm. What a horrible experience. Even if Charlie Trotter was the cook , nobody should wait 2 hours to get a meal, nobody, food for time spent waiting, sorry not doing it. DON'T EVER GO HERE, THEIR FOOD ISN'T THAT GREAT, no food is worth time spent waiting! Stay home and order a pizza, that was better than going to Bella Mia. The reason we went was to see Vito Zatto who saved the night but we never ate dinner, never got a morsel and left starving and had to go to Toxic Hell for a burrito,. Nice Valentine's day dinner!! Bella Mia Restaurant in Midlothian is by far the best thing that has come to the South Suburbs.The decor is georgeous and very romantic and cozy. The food is absolutely some of the best I have eveer tasted. They have a large variety of chicken, veal and spaghetti dishes. The steak and pork dishes are to die for and the seafood choices are great. You will always see the owner walking around asking people if everything is to their taste.If at anytime someone is dissatisfied they will correct it no questioned asked. The waiters, waitress's, bartenders and bus help are the nicest people around.Remember these people could be your mother, father, brother, sister or cousin who needed jobs or changed careers in midlife. They work hard and aim to please. Sometimes you might have a delay in getting your food , but remember everything is made fresh................ Let me begin by saying I visited several venues looking for just the right fit to host my mother's 75th birthday celebration and found it at Bella Mia. From the moment I walked into Bella Mia I felt at home. The hostess greeted me with a smile and immediately I felt welcome. I then consulted with Mr. Randy-Owner- and he assured me that my mom would love it at Bella Mia and he was right. Mr. Randy and his staff are the absolute best. They helped make my mother's celebration one she and her guests will never forget. They were personable, friendly, and extremely professional. They were accommodating, proactive, and anticipated the needs of my participants. The food was delicious and the presentation was top notch. The "Library" (private room) was perfect for the intimate gathering that I had envisioned. If you haven't had the opportunity to visit you are missing a treat. I highly recommend this restaurant. I had heard good things about Bella Mia and drive past often so decided I had to check it out. It was an early dinner and not many customer yet but we really enjoyed ourselves. The owner even came up and introduced himself- very nice!! The food was excellent, even as leftovers. There was a period we waited for refills on drinks, and then waited a little bit longer but I'm sure (and hoping) they were just in back getting breads and things ready for the long night. I'm going to give this one star only because of the lack of social responsibility and lack of concern for the public during a pandemic. The food and waitstaff were awesome, but apparently, the owner either chooses to ignore or doesn't care that we are in a global pandemic that is getting worse instead of better. NO ONE was wearing a mask. Not the owner, not the waitstaff, not the hostess, not the guests (when not at their tables), no one. If it weren't for my son's birthday, I would have instantly walked out. Bella Mia, you have lost a customer. NEVER EATING HERE AGAIN. Went to Bella Mia's a few times. I LOVE the whole eating experience there. Its very relaxed, they don't try to rush you in and out like local Italian restaurants in Palos do. I am not a fan of pork but I took a chance on the Italian pork chops and was very glad I did. They are amazing! Will continue to go there for great Italian food. The staff is very professional, warm and helpful. Our waiter, Sal, suggested wine and offered before he served it, "If you don't like, I will take it back and get you something else, no problem" . This was our second visit to Bella Mia.We enjoyed the food & service so much on our first trip that we brought friends along .We were fortunate to again have George as our server & will make it a point to request him in the future.Again our food was excellent,service was outstanding! My only complaint is that on both visits the manager had an issue with an employee & chose to deal with it within earshot of our table.PLEASE find a private area to deal with such matters in the future.We came for a relaxing dinner & feel the actions were totally unprofessional.Would have been a 5 star review otherwise. read more

Bella Mia is truly great! The team there is so kind and welcoming. They make you feel like family as soon as you step in. The place looks warm, with snug seats and cute decor. The word that comes to my mind after trying this place twice...AVERAGE! Nothing is really special but its not awful either. I tried the chicken parmesan on my last visit and and it was like being at olive garden. It seemed to be pre-made with a very bland sauce. The calamari appetizer was again ok but not going to get me very excited. The name suggests so much more, but eh..its ok. Went here with my wife and another couple. Had a 7:00 reservation, did not get a table till 8;05........... so what! Food was absolutely great, the waitress was top shelf, and someone of authority came over at the end of our visit and apologized for our wait. Really impressed, and we will be back. Found out about this bar in Tinley Park waiting for a train to come by. It actually is located…read moreclose. The Station has mostly booze but there's also a few things to eat too. A great place for watching games. You can also play games on slots. Coming here it actually looked like it was closed. It's actually got newer hours and they're open a lot. This is set up like some kind of Irish pub. A lot of booze at the bar. There's also a kitchen where the greasy air comes out. It's about $8 to get a basic cocktail. There's mostly vodka but some whiskeys. It's about $5 to get an appetizer. There's chips and onion rings. Great place to make a stop before going. It's closed Mondays. There's fun things like slots or you can watch football on TV or wherever.
