Walked in with an hour and some change to spare and one of the ladies maid it happen. She was alone in the morning doing someone else's nails and I NEEDED to get my toes done at that moment. She happily turned on some water for me and got me set up until someone arrived to help her. Even then she was the one that still did my pedicure! Was so grateful! I popped in for a last-minute nail fix up. My SNS popped of a couple fingers and Tracy was able to take me right as they opened. She was so great with detail and tried to keep on my existing tips to save me some money. The shop opened at 12 on Sunday and I got there at about 12:05. I was the only person in the shop the entire time! I assume they get poppin' later in the afternoon, but they were able to get me in and out in about 90 minutes with a SNS soak off, gel pedi soak off, new SNS mani and new gel pedicure! This location is truly an oasis to partake in. The ambiance is excellent, service excellent and the skill set is great. This shop prefers to take you by appointment and this is best, if you want to have the personal attention necessary. They do take walk-in and I'v done that as well, with no distinction in service. This was my go-to nail salon. Until the other night. I knew I wanted a night of self-pampering a few days before my birthday, so I made an appointment around 4:00 to go in at 6:30 for a spa mani/pedi. Got there at 6:25. Some guy was in a spa chair getting all done up -- mani, pedi, massagi, mint rubi, hot toweli, callus removi -- you name it. He had the only two women in the place working him up. "You Amy?" "Yes." "Pick color and sit here." "Ok." Things were looking up. So I sat. And sat. And sat. I must have started to fidget because they were able to break away from him for about 20 seconds and run some mild-temp. water over my tired, appointment-making feet. But then they went back to diligently, delicately massaging this man. 20 minutes went by and I started to get antsy. Hello! Girl who made the appointment over here! So when 30 minutes hit and not a single finger had touched my nails, I got up to leave. "No! No! We do now." I felt bad, so I told them I would stay, but only a pedi. No mani anymore. And only because I didn't feel like doing it myself. And it was almost my birthday. Funny how badly they wanted to give me a mani after I threatened to leave. Im really not sure how Bella Nail Salon has received so little stars and a mediocre reputation. I've been doing my mani and pink/white nails here for a while and am always satisfied. I do admit that I wish they got a little more in depth with cleaning of the cuticle during the pedicure. Aside from that, Holly does AMAZING pink and whites that last me 3-4 weeks before I need a refill. The decor is gorgeous and the pedi chairs are full massage equip. I'll keep coming here over & over to see Holly!! She's the best!!! read more

I never get manicures/color since I am a pianist, but had SNS done by a younger woman this past June for a special occasion. I assumed what I experienced was typical, but after talking with friends about the pain/discomfort realized it was not. The young woman, and I apologize for not knowing her name, nicked cuticles on every finger with either the file or the cuticle instrument. I went with my nails filed like I wanted them since I keep them short, and asked her not to file them. However, she proceeded to "touch up", and I simply did not want to be rude and pull my hands away. My mistake since every finger ended up with sensitive spots that did sting once she started administering the SNS. When I went a couple weeks later for the color to be removed the same woman wrapped my fingers with the soaked pad, then used the drill tool (my pedicure woman was not an option, and, again, I did not want to be rude and say no to this woman). Not having done this before I did not know what to look for. Basically, this young woman severely damaged my nails. It is 3 months later, and I probably have about as many more before my nails grow out past the damage. I am barely able to keep them above the quick because they shred and tear as soon as they grow past that point. Preventing ingrown nails on two fingers has been an issue because of how thin they are now, tearing immediately into the nail bed. I am taking biotin, and following the directive of a reputable aesthetician school in Atlanta. Not one nail is undamaged. I had absolutely no idea she would damage my nails so badly in removing the color. Other colleagues with short nails get SNS periodically and have never had this issue in their salons. I deeply regret having this done at this salon...it has caused more problems and finger-tip pain than I could have imagined. And I have a few months to go. The older lady who has been doing my pedicures for a couple of years, however, has always done a great pedicure. She is very gentle in her nail work, and firm in her leg massages. read more

I had a disappointing experience this morning. My friend and I arrived at 10:30am and they were understaffed. We waited about 25 minutes and then decided we would just come back later. I told the woman we would come back later and she insisted we stay as there were other employees on the way. We were helped a few minutes later. Halfway through my manicure the women told me I made her rush? I was very disappointed with the customer service and thought it was extremely over priced. I will not be back. This place is just a rats nest, my friends and I went to go get them done and they made our nails so crooked I thought they were the leaning tower of piza and then they were crackly and bubbly and half of her nail didn't even have sns on the bottom and we have been here for 3 hours and they ripped us off for 85$ . I had to come here after my regular place had too long of a wait and I needed a gel mani and a pedi quick before heading out of town. I was nervous about trying somewhere new but so glad I ended up here. The ladies took their time and were cautious - I didn't get the feeling they were just rushing along like I do at some other places. Even though they took their time, they still got me in and out in an hour as promised. They were very sweet and personable as well. Nice clean salon too. They dilute their nail polish. My polish on nails and toes were cracked and bubbly after it dried. It was a waste of time and money. I didn't leave happy. This place is very close to my house so I thought I would give it a try. I walked in on a weekday afternoon when there were only 2 other people in the salon. There were also only 2 people working. I waited about 30 minutes before someone even touched my nails. I would not normally wait this long but I was in desperate need of a manicure. The manicurist was sloppy and my nails did not look that great considering what I paid ($40- seems high for a gel mani!). I also noticed chipping after just a week - gel nails are supposed to last much longer. I was definitely not satisfied and the price was way too high considering all other factors. I have been going to this salon since it first opened and have always found the staff to be very friendly and cooperative. I never had a nail lift off prematurely and am always satisfied with the way my nails look when they are finished. Holly does a great job with the gel powder and the foot and leg massage with the pedicure is awesome. Sometimes things happen and a client has a bad experience but I can honestly say, this nail salon is the best I have been to in the Roswell/Alpharetta area. The salon is attractive looking and clean, much more than you can say for most of the nail salons. I only wish they would use hotter water in the foot bath. I am easy to please, but I left this high end nail salon extremely disappointed. I came here to get a mani/pedi as a bday present from a great friend. We both got deluxe manis & pedis. I had gel polish on from a previous mani, so I understand wrapping the nails with acetone soaked cotton balls. My hands were then placed in those warming "gloves"...again, completely fine. But, I was left like that for a good 10-15 minutes, if not longer. I did finally mention (in a nice way) that I was sweating. I was in them for that long due to my friend's nails being worked on. I was heard & action was taken after a couple minutes to take the "gloves" off, but not without it seeming like an inconvenience to staff. The biggest reason I will never return here is the immense attitude I received during my mani with Holly (please note the woman who did my pedi was so nice). First off, b/c my arms can only reach so far as the mani is being done as I sit in the pedi chair, she kept trying to get my hands closer to her. I said very nicely "sorry, my arms aren't very long", to which she corrected me saying it is b/c I wasn't paying attention due to talking to my friend (who is a loyal client there!) seated next to me. This isn't my first nail salon visit that includes catching up with a friend - I can do that multitasking just fine! And, here is the kicker: once the fresh coats of gel polish were being applied during my mani, the UV light/hardening unit would turn off every 10-15 seconds. Holly was getting so annoyed with me b/c the unit wouldn't turn on immediately with a wiggling of my fingers (the unit wasn't very responsive). How about changing the timing feature to last 1 minute? Lastly, my deluxe mani did not include a neck massage, but my friend did receive that with her deluxe mani. Why did I not? And, after using the gift certificate (worth $51 for a deluxe mani & pedi), I still owed $25 (excluding tip) for my gel polish & having chosen an American manicure. $15 for that 'add on' is understandable, but $25 is a bit excessive. Never returning here & have told friends to not go here. Instead, go to 5 Star Nails in the Rivermont Kroger shopping center directly across the street. 5 Star offers great service (better manis there), very accommodating to clients, reasonable pricing, & NICE!!! Rudeness is never acceptable. It took every ounce in my being to remain polite during my visit...ugh! read more

Would never come back, they have people jump from one person to the next. Not clean, was doing a pedicure on one person with no gloves on then jumped over to work on my feet. Upon asking him to wear gloves he looked at me like I was in the wrong. He didn't even wash his hands- how gross and unsanitary! Terrible customer service!
