I will not be renewing my membership because this location has completely fallen apart. The turnover is beyond ridiculous. Every single visit there's a different General Manager , a different front desk employee, and a different aesthetician. At some point you have to ask why. Are employees quitting because of poor leadership, or are they constantly being fired? Either way, it speaks volumes about how this center is being run. The current General Manager COURTNEY is, without question, the worst I've encountered. COURTNEY is arrogant, dismissive, and completely incapable of taking accountability or resolving even the simplest customer concerns. Instead of de-escalating situations, COURTNEY makes them worse. It's shocking that someone with such poor customer service and leadership skills is managing a business built on client relationships. This location has destroyed the reputation of a brand I was once happy to support. Corporate should take a serious look at what's happening here because this center is driving away long-term, loyal customers. I expect someone from corporate to contact me and explain how a location can decline this dramatically.

I chose the $65 "7 Day Spa" pedicure--the second most expensive option, mostly for the 15-minute massage. The cheese grater (you know the one) went a little too hard and left me with a tiny cut--nothing dramatic, but not ideal. Then came the massage, and here's where things got... lopsided. My right foot got the full spa experience: deep massage, attention to detail, 10/10. But my left foot? A light calf rub, a toe wiggle, and then back to pampering the right one. I sat there confused, waiting for balance to be restored... but nope. That was it. The tech was kind, and if he'd shown both feet equal love (and maybe eased up on the grater), I might've become a regular. But for $65, I left with one happy foot, one sad foot, and a tiny scratch to remember it by. Still looking for my pedicure forever home.

Jack and his crew are among the best in class and customer service in the Tempe and ASU area. Prices are reasonable and they will go out of their way to be accommodating. Clean and sterile, good color and service options and staffed well. I would like to include something they could improve on, but the only issue I've ever had (15+ visits) is parking. read more

Then they said, "oh you pay for both and come back tomorrow for gel manicure." I was a regular at this Nail Salon so I agreed. I went back and they were all just sitting around. The manager did my nails and they looked like crap. She didn't paint all the way down and then blamed it on my nail growth. Really?? I've included pictures of the chipped nail on a 6 day old gel manicure and the pedicure done the day before. It makes ZERO sense that she would tell me it was my nail growth when it was her poor work and I was upset about her bad work since the day she did it. They have lost a regular, every 2 weeks, customer because of how the female manager handled the situation. She should have fixed her poor work and done a good job like I paid for.

I have heard Nancy clearly explain pricing to other customers as well, and she is always very polite about it all(even when some people are rude to her for no real reason). I think Nancy is the owner and while she doesn't do my nails, it's pretty clear that the other techs like working for her, which is important to me because it makes the overall vibe of the salon very welcoming and relaxing. My current set is over 3 weeks old and only two nails are broken, but that is because I work in retail and use those two nails as tools, so BareCoat cannot be faulted at all.
