3.5 stars. Not a bad place to get a regular/spa pedicure. It's fairly small but there are usually at least 4 people working. I wouldn't say it's the fanciest in town but, pretty cheap for a pedicure. They charge $18 and they even add a hot stone massage. (which i love!) They also have additional hot oil/massage services for a couple of bucks extra too. The massage chairs were ok. They looked fairly new. But there are only 5 chairs available. They're usually pretty busy in the afternoon, so it doesn't hurt to call 10-20 minutes ahead to make sure you're not waiting forever. The place isn't the absolutely cleanest but isn't disgusting either. Parking is VERY limited. *update* For some reason, I keep going here for my nails and pedicure. Again, there's nothing that stands out but the workers are definitely friendly (no attitude) and they're not talking loudly to each other. I went in to get a simple fill and an hour and a half of horrible service later I look down and my nails were horrendous. To start off one of the males started ripping off my previous nails, you'd think he knew that me repeatedly saying "ouch" was an indication to stop, but he didn't even acknowledge my pain. Then after standing at the front waiting to pay a lady rudely approached me and gave me attitude when I was verifying that the tip was going to the guy not in the drawer. I asked for a fill with regular polish. Assuming it was gonna be no more than 20 (cause according to their price list - fills are 15+), the guy that did my nails ended up filing my nails crooked and said it was my fingers... I have been getting acrylics for awhile.. I'm well aware of how my fingers look with PERFECT filed nails. He even charged me to take off the polish I had prior when I came into the salon. That should be part of the process to get a fill... He ended up charging me $30..... while my friend got a fill with gel polish for $30... I could've gotten a full set for cheaper else where. I just moved to Scottsdale about 2 months ago and have been searching for my permanent nail salon. Bella will definitely be it for me!!! I have been to 2 other salons while living here and would not go back to either. It was only $40 for a gel mani and normal pedi. I was in and out within an hour and a half and the staff was super sweet! They have SO many colors to choose from (more than both of the other places I went to COMBINED.) I just had a regular manicure here. The guy who did it spent about 15 minutes/finger and overall seemed as if it was his first time. His own hands were those of a mechanic, with cracked fingers and oil in the cracks as well as calluses. If you like that sort of thing then this is your place but I have to admit I was super grossed out. The manicure turned out ok but it too 1.5 hours during which I had the strong urge to run away. So I get told to pick a color they don't have a verity to begin with once I let her know what I want done she says she knows what she's doing I paid for callous removal I had mentioned that I still had some she ignored me okay fine whatever afterwards I asked for her to file my nails she didn't once she was done she put my sandals on she managed to smear one and she just went over it with w coat I told her I could still see it and asked her to do it again she did and now one of my toes is lighter shade then the other ones. At first they seem friendly and I feel relaxed then once I ask about a nail design they go crazy! I don't even want to know what google translator would show. I am beyond upset and more stressed than when I walked out of work, the massage was a joke and the quality of product not any better. I've been here twice already and every time I come, Jack takes such good care of me. I usually just walk-in as they are very accepting of them. My first time I went, I got a Full set of pink and white ombre nails. He did them so well that everyone who saw my nails at my job, at school really like them. I then came in today to get a different color done and I decided to do a pink and yellow ombre and also had a little design added to the nails. The set pictured below cost $55 and these are a full set of ombré, pink and yellow gel acrylic. I highly recommend going to see Jack! He'll do your nails well and humor you everyone in the shop is very sweet and welcoming as well! read more

I can't give this salon any stars. I purchased a groupon for a gel manicure and ultimate pedicure. My first clue that this was not going to be a good experience is that it's located across the street from Dream Palace Gentleman's Club. The "salon" is small and the cleanliness was less that ideal. The man who greeted me immediately started arguing with me about what the groupon was for telling me that they made a mistake and it wasn't for a gel manicure but for me he'd do it. I was then rushed through a standard pedicure in 15 minutes or less. That included the massage. When asked if I had gels on my nails currently and I said yes I was told it would be $5 extra to have them removed. At this point I just wanted to get out after my manicure. The final straw was when he noticed I didn't have sandals he wanted to charge me $1 for PAPER sandals! I asked if I wasn't not a groupon customer if I would have to pay for the sandals and his response was "oh no of course not". I was done at this point. I paid for my pedicure that a 5 year old could have done better ($18) all while I was trying to be convinced to get the gel manicure. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I called groupon's customer service department and was kindly and painlessly returned my money. They will be looking into this establishment and I'm sure pulling their groupon that has 6 more days on it. Beware of your groupon purchases and make sure you read ALL the Yelp! Two friends and I called to see if they had availability for three pedicures if we arrived in 15 minutes and we were told that they could accommodate us. 15 minutes later we were there and the two nail technicians were 10-15 minutes into two gel manicures. We were told to sit at the foot spa chairs and 35 minutes later we hadn't even be attended to. They might be great but we didn't have the time to wait and find out, as we ultimately had to go before services were even started. read more

Bella nails is probably a 3 1/2 star. The ladies were very nice , I didn't have to wait and they did an excellent job on my nails. Also they are super cheap it was $28 for a both a mani and pedi plus a hot rock massage. The reason I would rate my experience a 3 is bc the place didn't seem clean at all, and the equipment they were using made me nervous because i wasn't sure if it was clean. The lady who was doing my nails literally had cuticles on her shirt from people before me... Not just a piece - a lot of cuticles. Because they did a good job I would go back there since it's a minute drive from my place , but maybe I would go early in the morning in hope that the place was cleaner . read more

Very disappointed with our experience at this salon. My friend and I had a groupon for an ultimate pedi/ and gel manicure. We heard from the guy (assuming the owner) how the groupon wasn't for what we paid and he never got a copy of the groupon before it was posted to proof it.. but he would honor it anyway. We did not fully get the ultimate massage; received hot stones but no scrub which the coupon indicated. My friend only got a massage on one leg and not the other. Coming up to a week later, my toes have already chipped (maybe I'm spoiled and used to better quality pedis that usually last me a month) and my gels started coming off on Friday. I think I'll stick with my original salon.. I gave them two stars because at least the staff was friendly and spoke enough English to be able to have conversations with us. PS owner guy- it's not our problem you didn't get a proof of the groupon before it was submitted! Groupon did refund my friend for one of her groupons at least (She bought two of them). read more

My friend and I walked in for our 2 PM appointment. We walked out at 3:45 with neither of us loving our nails. My nail technician applied way too many coats of dip nail polish and had to start over after an hour of attempting to fix his mistake. This of course is after he cut 8 of my fingers with the drill and nail filer. Most of my fingers now are swollen and in pain. Hopefully I won't get an infection. Needless to say I will not be going back there ever again. read more

WOW you should try the gel manicures that they offer here! They are about $28 which seems expensive for just a manicure, but they seriously last for 2 weeks without chipping and they look really shiny! The gels are made by OPI and come in a range of their most popular lacquers. I have had 2 people do them here now, and I will never get a regular manicure ever again! read more

Best deal in town! You can get a hot stone pedi and a mani for $28! Best place to get a pedi! Its a very tiny place with a friendly staff. Some days its busy and some days you can walk right in with no problems. I will definitely be paying Bella Nails more visits since its starting to heat up. read more

I've been going to this nail salon for about 3 years and I refuse to go anymore. The service is absolutely horrible and while I overlooked it before, I'd rather pay a higher price to get a better experience. The guy who owns the salon refuses to accept coupons and makes up ridiculous excuses to not accept that price. He even charged me for the plastic lining on the pedicure bowl just so I would pay the full price. He argues constantly and batters customers to get another service even though they have already said no. I have also witnessed other customers feel extremely uncomfortable when they are constantly asked if they have a boyfriend and are creepily flirted with. Yes, the prices are cheap and the job is decent but I will not be coming back because of the horrible service and the uncomfortable atmosphere. I would not recommend this nail salon. read more

Went here for the first time a few weeks ago. The owner was snoring when I walked in, so that was odd and kind of a turn off. Their regular manicures are cheap- $10, but the experience overall was so-so. It got busier as my manicure was going on, so it got a little better. Parking is pretty bad..they have approx. 3 spaces. Manicure was fine..have a range of OPI but all their polishes were jumbled together which I hate. Overall, for a few dollars more there are better places, even down the street. read more

If someone gave me a gift certificate to this place I would burn it. This was the most stressful salon experience that I have ever had. My best friend was getting married so several days in advance we made appointments for the bridal party to get manicures and pedicures. When we showed up there were not enough workers to tend to all of us and the man who greeted us was less than friendly. Several of us sat around for over half an hour and when they finally told me to sit down in the pedicure chair, I was yelled at for getting on the chair on the wrong side. I was very confused by this considering that both sides of all the chairs were the same. I then received the worst french pedicure I've ever seen. It looked like my seven year old cousin did it. First she painted half of each of my toe white while my friends looked on in horror. Eventually she slightly cleaned up the paint but left straight lines across my toes. It was appalling. When she had "finished" my toes looked awful. The lines looked smeared and not defined in addition to not being in the expected crescent shape. I then sat around for another half an hour before they acknowledged that I was supposed to get a manicure. During this debacle, the maid of honor was being yelled at by her manicurist. He claimed that she hadn't asked for designs on her nails before they began despite every customer recalling that she did, and she had the picture of what she wanted next to them the entire time. He then refused to to do the design for several minutes until the entire salon collectively told him he was wrong and he reluctantly agreed. Throughout our time at the salon, many other customers came in to get their nails and the staff failed to tell them that there were at least five people who were waiting ahead of them. Instead they blatantly lied and told many of them it would be a twenty minute wait, until they realized how clear the lie was and then they ignored potential customers when they asked about the wait time. In the end our manicures came out great despite the most hideous pedicure the world has ever seen. The staff was overall pretty rude and made what was supposed to a very joyous time very frustrating and stressful. I would never recommend this place! read more

**********DO NOT GO TO THIS NAIL SALON!! **********. If there was a way to give negative stars I would. Hands worst customer service, pedicure and the salon was dirty. He even used a previously used nail file,buffer and a Dremel Drill on my thin bare toe nails which is against the state board of cosmetology. I swear my 2 yr old nephew can do nails and treat people better than this. To start I had made an appointment 4 hrs prior for 2 pedicures for my friend and I to have a nice girls night after a long day at work and for me to get my nails filled and painted. When I arrived I waited 30 mins before they called me to the pedicure chair.The way I had requested the appointment was for me to have my hands done before my friend arrived so she and I could sit together for the pedicures, so this was all backwards from the beginning. So I sit down and he keeps getting phone calls that he needs to leave work and go pick up his 90 yr old father from the airport and nobody else can go for him or the staff to take over my service so he could leave. I get it family comes first but instead of asking me to reschedule he proceeded to guilt me and continue with my awful pedicure. By the time my friend arrived which was only a few mins after the repeated every 2min phone calls began,he decided to do a hot stone massage which I refused and he then proceeded to get the hot stones dropping and picking them up off the ground and bringing them back to my chair and finally I said no to the massage or hot stone and to just paint my nails and I'll come back when you are not rushed and so busy with my friend for the remainder of our scheduled services. He paints my nails and then doesn't even give them time to dry before he shoved my shoe on ruining the fresh polish and told me I owe him $30 for a spa pedi I did not receive. I recommend going somewhere else. I am in college and am on a road trip with my boyfriend. I needed a fill for my nails so we decided to stop by because their reviews were so great but I am so bummed at the work they did. I paid for 2 pedicures and a acrylic fill (total of $90), and as soon as I got home the paint had chipped from 3 of my toes, and my boyfriend is now mortified of ever going with me to a nail salon because they cut the top of his toes all up. I figured that he was being over dramatic, and that it was probably my own fault for messing up my toes, until all of my "gel" acrylic nails chipped and 2 fell off the day after the fill. I am now home from my road trip, and will have to repay someone to take off my nails and redo them, as it is required for my job and my toes were just a waste. I've never written a google review before but I am super salty about all the money I have had to spend and recommend you chose somewhere honest about their quality of work. read more
