I am disappointed to say that I had a terrible experience at Bella Nails & Spa today. I made an appointment in person two days ago. I showed up 10 minutes before my appt. time, and stated I was there for my 9:30 appt. Another woman showed up before me, but was still picking her color. She told the woman at the front desk that she didn't have an appointment, and didn't mind waiting. However, she was taken before me anyway. I ended up waiting 40 minutes before anyone even started my pedicure. Meanwhile, multiple other women were showing up saying they had appointments and were taken right away. Then, the woman doing my nails told me that my eyebrows are uneven she's not wrong, but I wasn't in the mood for roasting myself with people like I usually am. She also made some other interesting comments about my ethnicity. I should have just left, but I was pretty desperate for that appointment time.... Hence the reason I made the appointment in the first place. Anyway, I've been there before and had fine experiences and services. They do a decent job, I just wish they honored appt times. If you aren't going to honor it, what's the point of setting up appointments for people? read more

I've been traveling for 8 months. Have visited many nails salons in Montana, Idaho, Utah, and California. I was a regular at Bella before my travels. I've recently returned home to CA and visited Bella again. This salon is still the best customer service and value spa of all those I've visited. Was so relieved to be back. I was in serious need of a pedicure after I had my knee replacement surgery. Unable to get one before my surgery I was desperate since I couldn't cut my toe nails now. Karen took the utmost care with my post surgery leg giving extra attention to massaging the back where the muscle was very tight. She is the most caring and professional operator. Two procedures went very badly. Wednesday I went for a bikini wax and although Christine was thorough, she took 45 minutes and it TORE MY SKIN!! OUCH!! Sometimes this cannot be felt until afterwards. Oh my gosh. The next day I had an appointment for a pedicure. I asked for all the deluxe additives. The guy grated the side of my foot!! It was BLEEDING I pulled away and he reached for a cotton ball and started dabbing at it. I asked for it and used the cotton ball to put pressure on it. The grating was not on the bottom of my foot where removing calluses would be. It was up on the side. I asked for a bandaid and was initially told they don't have any. Then he gave me one, which he wanted to put on yet I did it myself to put on securely. I was MAD! I was flying to TEXAS the NEXT DAY and knew I would have a difficult time wearing shoes to walk in airport and that I COULD NOT wear my BOOTS in TEXAS. That was Thursday and today is Monday...it's STILL not HEALED. Not to mention, the gal giving a pedicure at the next chair was NON STOP TALKING in her language the entire time giving a pedicure and afterwards while cleaning the tub. NOT RELAXING at ALL. Get this....I was demanded to pay for my pedicure after being cut and walking out with a bandage. She said I give you discount. Oh my gosh. read more

I was so dissatisfied with this place. I went in to do a regular mani pedi. The pedi was OK. Nothing spectacular. The mani was so bad. I asked for an oval shape to my nails. They were pointy and crooked. When she was filing, she actually files my skin on the sides on my fingers. That was weird. Ugh! The lady doing my nails would not stop talking. When she dried my nails there was a lot of lint left on them. I tried to tell her but she just said okay, okay. She painted my left hand , then right, then back to left hand. I kept telling her about the lint. I stopped her and she had to do 3 nails on my right hand completely over. She takes off the nail polish and adds two coats of polish and then immediately adds the clear. As she is adding g the clear coat, she is actually taking the polish off. It is not dry enough. It pushed the polish into a bubble at the tip of my nails. The gentleman comes over and says something to her and she rushed me over to the drying table. I was not about having my nails dry this way. I tell her that she needs to fix it. She says OK and then disappears. She comes back after like 10 minutes and ignores me. I had to get up to have her come back to fix my nails. She was trying to start a new client and was not happy. She fixed them but the shape was all wrong. I will never go back. read more

I had high hopes for this place. My daughter and I can I'm around 6pm on a Thursday for a pedicure. Place was clean and beautifully decorated. Was fairly busy so we waited about 10 minutes-- no biggie since we had no appointment. The lady who did my pedicure was working too fast and ripped/cut a piece of skin on one of my smaller toes. It continued bleeding for quite some time, and was uncomfortable. Once she got the bleeding to stop she rushed through the rest of my service and ended up making me bleed again when cutting my big toe nail. My daughters pedicure was great and tuned out beautiful. Mine unfortunately did not. we won't be back. $40 for a pedicure where my toes are now cut up is not okay. Really hoping they don't get infected. read more

Came in as walk in needing my gel mani-pedi removed and to get a basic mani-pedi. A gentleman (who i think is the owner) asked me what I wanted. As soon as I told him- he gave me a blank stare and walked away. Another young lady comes out from the back and asks me the same question- I tell her the same answer- and the she just says ok and walks away. 5 minutes later I get seated. Two women approach me and do the whole foil thing to remove my gel color. The lady doing my feet didn't even wrap the foil tightly enough and it kept coming off. So I try to do her a favor (since she did it so quickly and ran to the back) and pressed the foil onto my toenails to keep it in place. Sure enough it kept coming off so I just gave up. As soon as she walks back to remove the gel, she finds it difficult to remove and says 'Where did you get this done? They didn't do a good job.' Uhhh...yeah they did. She was in too much of a rush to go back to whatever she was doing in their break room. My hand lady did the same thing. Rushed it. Walked away for what felt like forever. And came back to find it difficult to remove my gel manicure. As both did the cuticle care-my hand lady cut me twice without saying anything. I bled as she placed more alcohol on my right ring finger. Not a word. It was painful and very hard to get comfortable as both women went to town on my hands and feet. It's now day 2 with my manicure and my nails are already chipping. Only plus- their ATM doesn't charge a fee. Not coming back. read more

The last two times I've been here, my sup nails have fallen off within a week. The last time I went, the tech was having an issue with the bonding product. She did my nails and half of them instantly turned grey so she had to completely file them down and then start over. I was in the salon close to 2 hours and was charged $43. Within 3 days, 3 of the nails had popped off whole. They didn't break or crack, just came off. Went back to ask them to fix it, but they couldn't do anything because the woman am responsible for this mistake was not working that day. You've lost a steady customer. read more

I just left this establishment and I have to say that I was very displeased with the male at the front handling the appointments and ringing up the customers. First off, what I asked for and what I got with my manicure are two completely different things. I hate confrontation so I asked my family what I should do. They said pay for your service but nicely ask the gentleman if they could redo the color of the nails since it's not what you asked for. I called and did just that and he tells me that they can't redo my nails without me paying for a new color since it's the color I chose. The ladies who did the nails were very nice and it wasn't their fault their manager doesn't know how to run a good business and unfortunately lost a lot of business to his place of work. I'll leave a side by side of what I asked for and what I got here and please tell me that they shouldn't honor at least color fixing this without me having to pay for a new service after I just payed $77.00 for my nails and toes. read more

I went in today before an event I had to go to. Kelly did my gel manicure and she was awesome. I couldn't find a color that matched my toes but she went ahead and went to look in their stock for one. She found the perfect color! And was very thorough. I also used the offer for 10% off the spa pedicure and they took it with no problems at all. I love their manicures and pedicures because no matter what they always give you a great massage. We didn't like the colors they had to offer and all of a sudden the guy at the reception pulled out a lot more colors...we asked for a gel manicure and they used acrylic without asking. She told me while she was shaping them that the shape i wanted was $5 more and then shaped them wrong. The color i picked was a different color in the bottle and they didn't even have what i asked for but it was too late for me to leave obviously. My friend who got her nails done at the same time had a deep cut in her finger from the file. I got hurt too. When we asked how much a refill is they said 18 and we paid like 32 in the end...two days later the gel came off already and parts of the nail broke off and i have dirty little bubbles on my nails. Worst nail salon ever !! I only went here cause this was the only nail salon opened during these times.. First of all they over charge for any little thing... I had regular nail polish I PAINTED MYSELF AT HOME and she wants to charge me extra to remove for "gel " polish. How the fudge are you going to tell me my sally Hansen nail polish I bough myself is gel ?!, and try to charge me extra for that ($7 to take off ) Besides charging me an extra 10 for "length" , and extra $5 for coffin shape... honestly they will try to scam you and take advantage of you, make it seem like "you're in the wrong". How whatever I went with the flow since I was already sat down and waited a while. I said "money comes and goes I suppose" and "this is the first and last time I'm coming back " .. she's done with my nails and nails look good. I tipped cash and left. Total was $130 for a full gel set, a gel pedicure & a regular pedicure with no gel. BUT I get home and got a notification from my bank they over charged me and tipped themselves more on their own ! When I clearly I didn't put a tip on their receipt. They added $26 extra! UNACCEPTABLE AND SO UNPROFESSIONAL. Especially when I was patient the whole time , super friendly and added tip in cash. I WILL BE COMIMG IN TOMORROW 2 THROW HANDS AT ALL YOU. (Mainly the girl owner since I'm sure you're the one who added the tip yourself ).. desperate times much ?
