Horrible customer service. I ordered a sandwich and fries for pickup, and they put it in a pizza box. When I got home not even 10 minutes later, both were freezing cold. It was inedible. I called to tell the manager, and he refused to give me a refund unless I went all the way back so he could "see the food." First and last time eating here. read more

Food continues to be really good. The service on the other hand not so much. We have spent over $300 in three online orders from this restaurant since the original review. We visit family nearby a few times a year and have enjoyed our previous meals. This time, we ordered delivery through the online portal. The food arrived with no chicken (ordered and paid) in the pasta dish and no side salad. There was also no dressing for the family size salad as ordered. After contacting the restaurant, we were told that we would be provided complimentary chicken on the next visit. I find this an unacceptable solution. We have no idea when we will be back in town or even if we will order chicken. The best solution is to refund the chicken immediately and perhaps waive the so-called "service" fee for the mistake. As much as we might like the food, there are plenty of other credible options available. Management needs to rethink how to handle the inevitable problems that occur in a service industry. Until then, we will look elsewhere for Italian. read more

They started to prepare the order but as I was sitting there I noticed a dead cockroach and I saw flies and stink bugs flying around. Fantastic place! A hidden GEM. I just randomly found this place through Google maps for dinner. A very modest looking place tucked away in a strip mall. Don't be fooled by its humble looking appearance. The food is excellent - I had a Greek salad and a personal size pizza with sausage and pepperoni. Both were very good. But what really made it great was the outstanding service. They have the most polite, attentive, and caring staff I have experienced in the Raleigh area at any price point. This is a nice, affordable family run Italian restaurant that shouldn't be overlooked. I am amazed at the variety of pizzas, pastas, baked specialities and entrees. I don't know how they do it! I've been on a pasta kick lately and don't like heavy sauces so I mostly get the Aglio e Olio which has Sautéed garlic, fresh spinach and fresh tomato on spaghetti. Fresh and light and not too oily either. Just right. The ingredients are fresh and don't weigh me down. I can't say I'll ever deviate from the dish, but it's tempting! read more

Disappointing. Ordered on a friends recommendation. Salad and a cold sub. Showed up in 20 min, Slice app said my order was ready. Was told "3 min". 10 minutes later was told "4 minutes." It was another 8. For food that did not need cooking. There were three tables occupied at the time but the kitchen couldn't take 2 min to put a salad in a box for a customer sitting in the lobby. Got home and the sub was the saddest $11 I've ever spent for a thin little layer of tomato and a thin little layer of cheese. I'd hate to think how long it would have been if I'd actually ordered hot food. If I hadn't already paid $25 in the app I'd have left after the first 10 minutes. read more

My husband and I ordered two pizzas and an appetizer for pick up on a Sunday evening. I unfortunately cannot comment on the food, because they gave our order away to someone else, and then refused to give us a refund. Eventually, my husband had to call the ordering service and speak to someone to get a refund. Mistakes are understandable, but the cherry on this sundae is that he was made to feel like this error was somehow his fault, and that he was being unreasonable by asking for a refund after paying for food and not receiving it. After hearing a lot of good things about this place for their pizza, I wanted to give them a try today at lunch. Wasn't really in the mood for pizza so I thought I would try their Meat Lasagna. I go to ick it up and pay. $20 for a lunchtime lasagna. Seemed high. I asked the cashier if that included a salad? "No. Only bread." Well ok. Already in my mind I'm thinking this better be some damn good lasagna. I take it home and open it up and I am shocked that the bread is the size of a Pillsbury Crescent Roll and didn't taste much better either. The lasagna portion I thought looked like a lunch portion but definitely not a $20 value. When I tasted it, even more disappointing. The container was filled with a lot of sauce which overcompensated for their size controls. Just disappointing. Was hoping to have found a good Italian restaurant near where I live. I may try the pizza later down the road but based on the tomato sauce on the lasagna, I am doubting I will. Blah! read more

Bad service... very sloppy! I ordered shrimp dish for pick-up. Just as I get home, I received a phone call from them advising they forgot to put the shrimp in the dish. Sure enough! I drive back to get the shrimp they had ready in a small dish. They offered me a can of soda for the inconvenience. Of course I had to go home and put everything in the oven to heat up. We just moved to the area and are on the search for our new "go to" pizza place and decided to give them a try. We were pleased with the pizza. It's a good foldable crust and the sauce had very good flavor. We got half pepperoni/half sausage and the pepperoni might have been close to a 5 star. But the sausage was sliced into very thin rounds and there was very little of it so the flavor didn't really come through. We will be back but will stick with pepperoni. They do have lots of other items on the menu and I can say I was encouraged that I could smell the garlic outside the restaurant- that's a sign of a good Italian place in my book! read more

Ordered two pasta dishes last month, but the lady forgot to put in salads. I didn't find out until I got home, so I called, and the lady took my name/phone number and promised to give me the missing salads next time I order with no mention of time constraints.
