The menu offered a spectacular variety of Italian specialties that would satisfy most individuals. Four of the seven are former food service workers so the complaint about the service we received is coming from people that know what they're talking about. Last night was a rainy Sunday and as such there were plenty of available tables. We were sat in a timely manner, so there was no problem there. However, it took a good 10 minutes for our waitress to take our drink orders, which took another 15 minutes for them to be delivered. The bar was relatively empty so the delay wasn't because the bartenders were slammed. When the drinks were finally delivered one was missing. The missing drink was a beer that was on tap, so it wasn't anything complicated. I reminded our waitress that a drink was missing. She said that she'd be right back with it. I said fine, but we're ready to order. She took our orders, which consisted of salads for six of us and 1 soup along with our entrees. I asked her to bring some bread to the table when she brought the beer. Ten minutes later still no beer or bread. I got up to find our waitress and as I turned the corner the bread was being brought to our table and shortly after that the beer was delivered. Remember that I said there were plenty of empty tables, so the wait staff wasn't being slammed. Another 10 minutes pass and the salads were brought out. Unfortunately the one soup wasn't. That took another 5 minutes to be delivered. When our entrees were delivered one was missing and there was a duplicate of another one. Thankfully that was rectified in a timely manner. As I said in my opening sentence if my rating was based solely on the food it would be higher, as all of us loved our entrees. I have only two negatives when rating the food. The soup was only mediocre and the pasta is not made in-house. The pasta not being fresh doesn't bother me, but I mention it because I know it bothers some people. Because the entrees were so good, I will give Rodello's another try, but if the service doesn't dramatically improve it will be my last time.
