It is an unassuming place but wow,! When they say the hole in the walls have the best food they were talking about this place. We order the garlic bread with cheese. It had cheese! I had Baked Ziti and it was fresh. Unlike alot most places the ziti is usually dry and hard in the edges, you can taste the freshness. The pasta and sauce was delicious. Then let's talk about a pizza! It was huge. The slices were big and everything fresh and made to order. Everything was excellent even the chicken wings were awesome. We will be back again. read more

If you're from Western New York or Buffalo look no further. Tell them you want cup and char pepperoni. Tell them you're not from NYC or Chicago because our pizza is thicker, cheesier & buttery. Bella Nonna nailed it. They also use Franks hot sauce on their chicken wings. I will be back. read more

Come here weekly. Best pizza in the area. They stop seating in the dining room 30 minutes prior to closing, so don't show up at 745 when they close at 8 and expect to sit down and eat. You can take it to go, but eating in is always better. read more

Tonight was our first time eating at Bella Nonna. It's is an eat in diner style setting. We started with 2 Sweet Tea's and "Garlic Knots" (6 large biscuit size Knots per order). They were great. A soft dough with a garlicky butter flavor and the marinara sauce on the side was a perfect compliment, as it was not too spicy with just the right amount of sweet and salty flavor. We ordered the Deluxe 18" Pizza (8 Large Slices we ate 2 each). We did substitute Ham for the Sausage with no problem from the Kitchen. The Pizza came out at just the right time as we only had 1 Garlic Knot left for the two of us. The pizza looked amazing we could tell the toppings were fresh just by looking and they tasted fresh too. The sauce was again the right balance of Sweet & Salty, the cheese was also nice and melted and all the flavors seemed to blend together perfectly, the dough again was soft in between two lightly crispy layers and the crust was especially nice as it was old world style and just crispy enough to crunch and soft enough did not cut cut up the insides of our mouths. The Staff was very Pleasant and attentive to us. Just about every table was full of families enjoying an evening supper. While the take out business had a couple of customers come and go while we were there, it did not detract from our experience. All in All I give this pizza restaurant 5 stars across the board. We were there on a Thursday between 4:00 & 5:30 pm. Side Note: They do offer Beer by the bottle to enjoy while you sit and converse in the quiet atmosphere of a home town pizza spot. We found Bella Nonna quite by accident. I ordered some pizza for some workers and our lunch. Very, very good. A little later, I ordered some pizza and some pasta. Again, really good. Noteworthy good. One of the Pasta dishes came with garlic knots. Beyond good. Another order, lots of garlic knots, ziti, pizza, and calzones. This place is great! Give them a try, you will love it! read more

What a delight to eat some of the best Italian food anywhere. We are from Chicago, so great Italian food is abundant. Bella Nonna's Chicken Parmesan compares most favorably with that of Chicago's Como Inn, and that is high praise indeed. And you will have plenty for a second dinner later in the week. They have really good wings & fries! This place usually has decent pizza and is my go to for the magherita pizza. It's been awhile since I had ordered anything from here and was really looking forward to it. After I got home, I realized it was definitely missing a few things. It didn't have basil on it & not much olive oil if any. It was mediocre at best. Maybe just not their best night? However, I think I would still give them another shot. read more
