My friend and I went to this salon on a Friday afternoon. I mentioned multiple times that I wanted Ombre Acrylic using White and Hot Pink powered and paint glitter overlay. They were talking to each other about Dip and Acrylic and he said she'll make them very nice for you. Before I knew she was using dip. Looking at her apply the powder was as if a 5-year-old provided the service. I was PO'ed, especially when I saw the owner provide an acrylic service to the customer next to me. Now my friend wanted a regular fill (acrylic) with painted nails Black with a purple glitter. They were going to do the fill with powder, and she stated no. Come on you have your license, right???? I was a walkin on a Friday around 1:30p The place was small and looked dirty and when asked what I needed they said "we don't have an appointment for that" An appointment? Is that required? I originally was trying to get into Tuscany Spa at The Villages for a mani/pedi and when I couldn't, Tanya recommended that I call and make an appointment here at Bella Orchid, and say that Tanya sent me, and boy am I glad she did! I called, made an appointment for a pedi followed by a mani at 12:30pm on a Monday. When I arrived they were busy! So I HIGHLY recommend scheduling an appointment! I was told to pick out my color and have a seat. The nail polish colors are in the back past the pedicure chairs. I picked my colors and had a seat. I didn't wait long however, and was taken to my pedicure chair and started my nice, hot, foot soak. After about 15-20 minutes, a tech came over and gave me the menu of choices. I chose the Orchid's Pedicure. I was REALLY needing a deep massage on my feet and calves after a day at Disney! My tech came over shortly after and began. I didn't catch her name and I wish I would've, because she is/was AMAZING!! She really took her time making sure my comfort was taken care of! And the pomegranate hot oil they use to massage your feet and calves is heavenly! I really cannot brag on this treatment enough! I went in there seeking a treatment from having sore, tired, blistered feet and left there with a new pep in my step! (I also gave her a WONDERFUL tip which she had no clue about until I gave it to her!!) Then the same tech did my manicure. I just got a plain ole basic manicure, but it was just as heavenly as my top of the line pedicure!! If you're looking for a nail place, look no further! (Just be sure to make an appointment!!) I normally go to another nail spa, but after waiting for 45 minutes I decided to reschedule. The nail tech at this spa is good, but my time is as valuable as the next persons, so I decided this was a good time to try different place to see if they could take me that same day. Bella Orchid scheduled me the same day. I had lunch and returned a half hour later and got a really nice manicure. The staff was friendly, and seemed to enjoy their jobs. There was laughter, other customers were happy and social, and a technician by the name of "T" did my nails. I had a powder dip style and "T" said that they require no special care and should stay nice for about three weeks. I enjoyed my visit and I found a new nail salon!! I recently moved to Florida and have tried numerous nail salons. Each one was worse than the last. I saw a post on the nextdoor app about this place, so I decided to give this place a try. I can now say I have finally found a home. I am super picky. This place has a great selection of powder dip, and they do the dip the proper way. No putting your nails under the light. They are a little more expensive than what I paid before I moved here, but it is worth it. I already made an appointment for a pedi, and I am hoping I love that just as much. Oh, the owner did my nails, and he was very friendly. I did not find him rude or nasty like some of these reviews say. I guess we all need to judge for ourselves. read more

Bella Orchid is a good Nail Spa. My hubby and I got pedicures---it was a first for him. The pedicures came with 1/2 leg massages. Nice! They really took their time. I got power dip nails and they look pretty good. A couple of flaws were noticed after I left the shop. But overall, my nail tech was very good and was personable. I would go back again. It's so hard to find a good nail spa that is consistent. They were so friendly and personable that I'd go back. read more

Hard to characterize this salon. Great job on nails but extremely difficult to deal with the employees. Simon, the owner is a gruff and very rude person. Demeaning to customers, while disinterested in providing any type of customer service. Seems like a very unhappy person that takes it out on anyone in his way. Only giving a 3 because the pedicure was good. Asked for a design on my nails and was flat out told no by the technician. She offered for me to wait longer for someone else who could possibly do it, but I had already been there well over an hour. I was upset what I wanted couldn't be completed & left without noticing that they had overcharged me. The pedicure was $36. I was billed $41. A friend was with me for the pedicures and left right before me. She was only charged $36 for the same service. If I could give this establishment a -5 stars I would. Service is worth the money, the attitudes and staff is not. Today my mom and I treated ourselves to pedicures. While we were there, the staff completely and rudely made fun of a disabled man. He spoke English and was very chatty. The staff asked if he knew sign language. Why would he need to know sign language? He is not deaf or verbally disabled. The disabled man asked questions throughout his service and the staff ignored, laughed, and chatted about him. We came by with my sister, niece to use my daughter's gift certificate. I had a great pedicure with the oils and hot towels. My daughter got a mani and pedi. She loved the design they put on her big toes. They did not offer that to me. My sister had a great technician who talked to all of us. The other technicians did not talk much. I wish the would have painted the cut edge of the nails to help prevent chipping. The salon is clean and might come back by if in the area. read more

I am a very picky person when it comes to my nails and toes. I came here because I am in the area for an extended vacation and I desperately needed a fill in and pedicure. The salon was very clean. The pedicure chairs were brand new with disposable liners. My technician was meticulous and took his time. I opted for the Sam pedicure ($35) which came with a hot oil massage. I got a fill in with gel French ($35). Two hours later and I feel like a new woman. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. read more

I can not truthfully rate because of the issue causing me not to bother giving them a chance to provide a service. My husband wanted to surprise me for Christmas, so among other surprises, he treated me to a spa pedicure and manicure treatment with all the works. My husband told me all I had to do was show up. I knew he must've spent a good amount on money on this so I called ahead of time to specify that I just didn't want the nails on my toes and hands trimmed or colored- just left untouched. I was dissapointed they couldn't accommodate a simple request made to exclude a pedicure and manicure from a spa treatment, so that they would credit my husband back on that specific service. I was told they wouldn't touch my nails and can still do the massage treatment, but the full service was already paid for and could not do a refund. All the trouble I was given over the phone totally changed my thoughts about showing up for the treatment, so I asked that the service be cancelled entirely. Another person then got on the phone to tell me they would refund my husband when he stops in. Please let this be a lesson to keep in mind you have a potential client on the phone and although you cannot accommodate a person, a situation like this could've been easily handled in a professional manner without frustration and attitude. I love this place!! It's extremely clean, I mean very clean. They use liners in all of the pedicure basins, the metal tools are autoclaved and come out of sterile packages and all the lotions for the pedicure is in individual containers. They always do a fantastic job on my gel manicures and are very gentle. The staff is also friendly and polite. I highly recommend this place. Been coming here since 2015. Came back home to visit my parents and we decided to get pedicures. Walked inside and was told that my mom had to have an actual face mask that clings to your face (she had a plastic shield being that she has asthma.) THE REAL KICKER is that another customer had a plastic shield, but bigger. Logically it's the same concept. No matter if it's covering your whole face it's still allowing airflow and BLOCKING the MOUTH AND NOSE area. I'm not the type of person that leaves reviews, but when people lack common sense it's extremely necessary. read more

I'm gonna have to go with I by far had the worst experience yesterday, it was not enjoyable at all!!! I usually don't go here I have a set salon I get my pedicures at atleast once a month most times every 3 weeks I treat myself! As for I'm always on my feet, but I got a gift card yesterday to go here and had the worst experience ever so I got a pedicure they Usually never last more than an hour so I get there in plenty enough time at 11:15 asked for a pedicure they pretty much took me right back to the chair I figured be out by 1215 1230 at latest had to be at work by 1:15 minutes down the road so I pay for deluxe pedicure and the lady was so slow and not efficient at all she skipped out on even giving me a massage that I paid for in my deluxe package!!! I said well you could just downgrade me to the basic package since you don't have time to do everything that was included. I told her I needed to be out of there by 12: 45 or at very latest! And she still took her time and it took forever!!! So no massage not even a good job on my toe nails I paid 51$ for the deluxe and I'm PO'ed! I never give ANYONE a bad review!
