I went in to get my hair lightened. I showed a picture to chelo and was told starting price was $320 and could end up being $500. When she finished my hair was orange and it was $600. She said I could come back and she would finish it. I had to go somewhere else to pay $50 for a toner because I didn't want orange hair for 2 weeks. When I came back she didn't want to lighten it again because she said they put color in my hair (it was just a toner). So another young girl added highlights and I still didn't get what I wanted and when they were finished she made the comment "it's close". Chelo is amazing! Not only did it instantly feel like I was talking to an old friend but my hair was a mess and she brought it back to life! I also did Botox and a lip flip for the first time ever and I'm obsessed day one! She did such a good job assessing my skin and letting me know what I can do to improve my trouble areas. Chela was very good at putting my anxious mind at ease. She was very professional and confident, for good reason. She knew what she was doing in regard to microblading My eyebrows. She kept me informed of the steps she was taking and also how to perform aftercare. One of my biggest fears was that the procedure was going to be painful. She assured me that it would not be painful. She kept me numbed, and the pain level was a "0 out of 10" most of the time, and at level 1 towards the end. It was not painful at all. We had an incredible experience at Bella Rose Spa today! Chelo worked her magic with a carboxy laser treatment, dermaplaning, and microneedling on my face, and I've already seen a huge improvement. The whole process was painless and actually really relaxing. Chelo's touch is so gentle, and her energy is just amazing. I went here on Fredericksburg Road on a recommendation. I went in for a spiral perm and this is what I got. In this photo I have applied some product to boost the curl with no success. The stylist was not friendly and would not converse at all! I asked her to alternate rods and she did what she wanted todo. She kept saying she was afraid I would lose vo!umn. I get to fly back home and explain why I spent $152.00 to look the same. Although the manager/owner offered to redo it, I know my hair. She would have fried it no matter what she did. read more

I finally made the decision to microblade my eyebrows --- I found a groupon and after reading the reviews decided to go to Chelo. She really spent time with me helping me decide exactly what I wanted my eye brows to look like when we were done.  I'll start by saying I LOVE MY EYEBROWS. I waited till the touch up to write this review.  SHE was even  greater for the touch up. The numbing gel she used was so powerful that I hardly felt the microblading which is a bit rougher the for the touch up. We did some adjustments and enhancements from the initial appointment resulting in amazing eyebrows. My husband actually looked at me and said- "I really like your eyebrows" --- MIRACLE... a great tribute to the fantastic job she did.   I went back so she could cut my bangs - another fantastic job. read more

Had the most horrible experience!! Spent over $900 on Extensions done wrong. First she kept changing the price. 2nd when my friend showed me how she did my extensions all wrong she had the nerve to say she's black and dont know nothing about my hair!. Any questions or want pictures please dont hesitate to message me. Didnt even have it in for 2 days. I am warning everyone so they dont get taken advantage of.. I purchased a groupon for a haircut here and am so glad I did! I already left a glowing review on groupon but thought I'd leave one here as well. Chelo and her assistant are so kind and great to talk to! Not just boring small talk that makes you feel uncomfortable but genuine conversations. Also Chelo is amazing at what she does...I told her I'd like my hair to be about collar bone length but she pointed out that because my hair is naturally curly, it'd be best to leave it a little longer so that when it curls it will be the length I want. Also, she offers a free scalp massage with every haircut and it had me falling asleep! It also stimulates hair growth which is a plus, and I had never gotten a scalp massage anywhere else. I went to get my hair cut by Chelo about a week ago. It was last minute and I was so thankful she had a spot available. She was very personable and attentive. She asked me multiple times what I wanted and with each step if I was happy with her services. She even introduced me to a new hair product, mondo verde. I usually am disappointed with my hair cuts because a stylist will either cut it to my natural curl, and then when I straighten it, it looks horrible or vice versa. This time however, I am very impressed by how Chelo cut my hair in a way that is complimentary to both styles. I can not believe I have to write this- Chelo seemed lovely...and a fair decent spiritual soul...initially she colored my hair and did a great color...only A COUPLE OF WEEKS LATER..WHEN .... we saw each other out in a personal setting - THEN SHE INSISTED I NEEDED TO FRESHEN MY HAIR UP...what happened was a catastrophe. She accidentally..of course, not intentionally! over processed my hair..and it fell out!!! yes!!! She was mortified..stated.." I don't know what happened...OMG..." i began to feel more sorry for her than she for me?
