Came in for a trim and Shahla (I think that's her name) did an amazing job! I have very long hair and I just wanted a quick blunt cut. I expected the appointment to be over in like 30min but she took her time which I really appreciated. She washed my hair thoroughly. I really appreciated that she showed me how much she was going to cut off before cutting. She understood the pride we long hair girls have so she was very careful not to chop off like 10 inches willy nilly. The salon is very spacious and although it may not looks like a luxurious place, they do a very good job and are super kind. The price was $40. This came with hair wash/ cut / blow dry. She even trimmed and styled my bangs for me! I recommend if you're needing a simple cut w/o having to pay too much! read more

Absolutely terrible. The short woman with the eyebrow piercing clearly doesn't know what she's doing. I had a scarf on and told her not to touch certain parts of my eyebrows--and guess what? Eyebrow threader was so rude and ruined my eyebrows. I tried to explain to her how I wanted my eyebrows and was just told to sit down. She broke the thread twice and I have never had that issue before. I had to let my eyebrows grow out for over a month to get them back to where they were before. First and last time here. Service was good, got serviced immediately. Lady who threaded my brows and lips was either inexperienced or just terrible. I have my brows microbladed, which means there's already a shape to it. I told her this and told her to just follow the shape and clean them up. I assumed that's fairly easy to do because it's like following a line to cut. Well 30 min later and she kept having me look at the mirror to see if it was good and I kept telling her to fix something. After 4 times of her asking I said F it in my head and just told her it was good to go so I could get out of there. It was getting frustrating at that point. Definitely will not return. read more

Then, when the pandemic hit, I basically grew out my eyebrows until they reopened. I have been looking forward to this location opening since it's closer to me. Really wanted to give this place a 5, but on the day I went it was really busy and I waited about 20-25 minutes before I was seen. I called and asked if I could do a walk-in. I should have asked how long the wait was however when I asked if I can walk-in, the lady who answered the call made it seem like I could be seen right away. Anyhow, I got here (and this location is new) and found out there was only one lady working and there were a family of 4 what were doing full face threading. So of course I didn't want to be rude and seem impatient so I waited. Luckily, the lady asked the family if I could go after the second person because all I needed was my eyebrows threaded. So I was able to go, but spent about 40 mins here in total, when typically at other places I can be done in 10mins. And so when it was my turn, I felt like the lady doing my brows was rushing, still did a good job, but felt hurried. So long story short, be sure to make an appointment ahead of time! I'm sure it was just that day that so happened to take a while. But I am willing to try this place again. read more

I bought a groupon for a Brazilian wax, made an appointment and went in. I was waiting to be serviced and another customer was upset about how her eyebrows came out, she was not rude and just let them know she was unsatisfied. She had given them a reference picture and they did not service her to her liking. When she left, they immediately began talking crap about her and making fun of her which was a bad first impression for me. I went into the waxing room and they had not cleaned it from the previous client so the table was full of hair and the room overall did not look very clean. In addition, the robe they tried to give me was also dirty and had hair on it. I went out and let them know the room was dirty and I walked out. There was a poor level of professionalism and cleanliness, I would not recommend. read more

Rishi's is my to- go beauty parlour and all time favourite for their skill and services. But what amazed me is the hygiene factors they are following during these unusual days. The staffs are cleaning every-time a customer leave their chair. I don't even know where to begin. I bought a voucher on Groupon for a Brazilian wax here and felt optimistic because they had good reviews. However, this was quite honestly the worst experience of my life. I have had Brazilians regularly in the past and NEVER once had an issue with pain tolerance. First of all, she didn't clean the area or put any powder on to dry it off. Then she pulled out SOFT WAX and strips to do a Brazilian. If you know anything about anything you know hard wax is better and less painful for Brazilians. I was bawling my eyes out on the table from the pain. It was absolutely excruciating. I've never experienced anything that painful in my life. And even after all of that, there was still tons of hair left over, blood everywhere and tons of swelling. She was rough, unsanitary and rude. I can't even begin to explain the aftermath this has caused for my skin. I'm still in excruciating pain and having to ice the area. I will never be returning here and will tell everyone I know about this awful experience to prevent anyone else from being hurt. read more
