I feel the need to respond to the review about the receptionist. I find this to be very opinionated with false information. I am a stylist here at the salon, we take great pride in our customer service. Both of the receptionist here at the salon have a happy disposition with a high school education, one graduated college, the other taking college classes. I don't think you can call very many businesses these days and get treated with a friendly receptionist like ours. As a stylist here at the salon we can sometimes have booked schedules making it hard for a last minute appointments. Our receptionist is happy to let you know what your stylist has available and if that does not work with your schedule she will leave a message for your stylist. I have heard of people being pushy, rude or crass to the receptionist about schedule conflicts, I have personally told the receptionist to kindly inform the person on the phone "when you can speak nicely to me call back" and hang up. So I assume by the reviewers message that she didn't get her way and became rude toward the receptionist causing the receptionist to defend herself. read more

Ashlee Vance at Bella Salon is amazing!! She is the only person that I will let cut and color my hair. She has amazing taste in hair style and does a fantastic job. I have been going to her for about 3 years now. I started going to her after I had a bad experience with a perm and she helped me calm it down and get back to my regular hair.... Her knowledge and skill set is better than anyone else I have ever been to! She truly cares about her clients and is always willing to help find the perfect hair style/color for anyone who asks. I love her honest when you go to her with an idea. She is extremely reliable and trustworthy when it comes to having your hair done. Majority of the time I just give her an idea of what I want and then let her decide what would look best.... And she has never disappointed me! Go to Kristy at Bella Salon. Was referred to the salon - amazing products and great people - by a new friend. Moved here a year ago, scared to go to anyone new, super attached to my long blonde, highlighted hair. I don't know if new climate, new/different hair colors, etc, but my hair just started breaking off and damaged. Totally freaked out. Met Kristy, she gave awesome advice, was consultative. Just had my first appt tonight, she was great. Transformed my hair in look and feel with the cut. Still looks long, which is crucial to me, just so much healthier. We tested a strand for color, and she waited to get the shade I want. I'm seriously type A about this hair. Will make appt for color and won't be going to anyone else moving forward. Ashlee Vance is the best! I started going to her after she did my roomates hair and it looked AMAZING! Now that I've gone to her the last few times I'm sticking around for sure. She's super fun to talk to and you can tell she has a real passion for cutting hair. I also appreciate that she will tell you what is best for your hair and not just do whatever crazy idea you have at the expense of it's health. For example I was a very dark brunette and wanted to go blonde, she let me know that would take about 3 sessions to make sure I didn't fry my hair to a crisp. I understood and went with it, and I'm SO glad I did! My hair is still healthy and is the exact color I wanted. If you go here ask for Ashlee, she won't let you down :) read more

I recently saw an ad for Bella's Salon and decided to try it. I booked my apt with Mallory Savory, an Aveda alumni and she Fixed my hair in one sitting. I had been trying to find a good colorist and stylist in Portland area who could transform my blue/green/brunette hair to a platinum blonde again. She used the best hair products to ensure that my hair wouldn't be overly damaged. She made me feel so confident again and in love with my hair again. She worked with me on all my concerns and was able to give me exactly what I wanted. Amazing service and amazing colorist. Ashlee Vance(Ashlee Smith) is amazing! She has been cutting my hair for over a year now and I have been more then happy. I even style my hair more now a days. I show her pictures of what I like and she makes it look amazing! :) you can't go wrong with going to her. For the first time I did a full color and wow. She makes me feel so pretty. She will also give you tips and is always there to answer questions for me on what I should use in my hair. I now use product that I never would have years ago. My hair feels soft and healthy. I am a busy mom of 5 and seriously have little to no time to go out and get my hair done regularly. Ashlee at Bella Salon has gone out of her way to accommodate my unpredictable schedule. She is efficient (i'm usually on a time crunch!) yet a perfectionist. I always LOVE my hair when she's done, and there is NOTHING like being able to sit in the chair and completely trust the person who is coloring and cutting your hair. Plus she has a stellar personality and genuinely cares about each of her clients. When it comes to my hair I am extremely picking. I have been going to the same hair stylist for over 5 years. I never thought I would find someone as good as her. Until I met Nelly at Bella Salon. My favorite hairstylist was booked until March and a friend recommend Nelly. I was very nervous the thought of my hair not turning out the way I like it. It was my first time at Bella, I had only gotten my hair colored once, and I wanted a balayage this time, I asked for Ainsley Manesh, referred by a friend, showed her a picture of wanted (Khloe Kardashian's beautiful balayage blonde hair ;) and she did exactly that!!!! She is amazing with color, and very patient , I didn't feel like she was rushing at all. balayage is very tedious technique and she did an amazing job. I recommend Ainsley to anyone, especially those , like myself, that usually are very skeptical at trying a new stylist. Ainsley is worth it. I'm so happy!!! read more

I ALWAYS go to Mallory for everything. She always does a bang up job even when I'M not 100% sure of what I want, she always knows exactly what will work with my skin tone and face type! It's awesome! I would HIGHLY recommend her! She did my hair for my wedding and also helped me do a huge transformation from SUUUPER long hair to an adorable short bob with beautiful fun/natural color. Mackenzie is amazing! Just like you, it was hard for me to try someone new as I relocated, but thank God, a friend of mine recommended her, and I thought hey, how bad can it be? I get my hair cut and colored AND my two daughters hair cut by Betsy and she is fantastic! My cut and color always look great and I have received many compliments on the color especially. My daughters are so comfortable with her that you can generally hear them blabbing away while they get their haircuts (and the older of my two daughters tends to be super shy). Kim at Bella Salon, Beaverton, is amazing. She does both my hair color and cuts and I've always been pleased. She listens and works with you to get what you want. I moved out of Beaverton, but I still go back there for my hair color and cuts. On my first visit I had a picture of a hair style I really liked and she nailed it! Martha has given me two incredible haircuts. I moved away two years ago and wait until I fly back into town to see her. It's not only a haircut, but constant advice from a seasoned professional! She always gives a massage to your head and shoulders and massages oils into your hair before washing it. She also is as sweet as can be and we always have a good time. I have had my hair done with Hassan for over 15 years. He is amazing !!! If you have thick hair you know how hard it is to style. The blow out Hassan does along with the coloring and cut is without a doubt the best I have ever had. I have tried out other stylist over the years and have never been satisfied. I have been having Hassan cut and color my hair for years. He does a fantastic job and follows what I ask for and if I want a miracle, he lets me down gently and tells me that my hair won't be good in that style. I would not go anywhere else ever.
