Natasha is an amazing stylist and the only person that I have trusted with my hair for the past 8 years. Every haircut is perfect and exactly what I ask for. Plus, I can trust her suggestions that will look good with my hair type, face shape, etc. I greatly appreciated her support and openness in helping me through a two year transition from dark brown dyed hair to my natural grey. I booked an appointment with Marissa after finding her Instagram online where she stated she was a blonding specialist. My hair had been previously lightened and was very fragile. I sent Marissa my inspiration photo. I wanted lighter in the front with minimal low lights in the back. What I received was worse than I could of imagined. I was prepared for more damage, what I wasn't prepared for was my hair melting off, zebra stripes, blotchyness, more brown than I wanted and a chop job of a haircut. When I voiced my concerns I was blamed for how it looks. I know hair, and I know what happened to me was a lack of knowledge, skill and understanding of hair. This is not how a skilled blonde specialist does hair. This is a $400 cut and color. Would you pay $400 for this? My hair is beyond destroyed, there is so much brown. I've spend $1000s of dollars trying to go back to blonde from being a dark brunette. I now have melted hair that's to dark, and I have to be seen in public like this. I've only been once for a cut. I got Hannah. She's so awesome. I love my cut and she did a wonderful blowout and recommend some great products to keep my hair soft and healthy. She didn't have any of the product left to sell me so I ordered on amazon. Her reccomdation was spot on. Exactly what I needed. She gave me the best head massage durring the wash. Talking to her is fun. Her personally is awesome and we laughed so hard. Felt like I'd known her for years. The salon is cute and they seemed busy. I'm going to get cut and color next time with Hannah. She's specialises in both stright and textured hair. She has textured hair herself. Don't be scared. I had Yen Williams-Nguyen and she did such an amazing job! I showed her ideas of what I wanted off of Pinterest and she delivered exactly what I showed her. She is very up to date with trends and knows what works best for your style. She even explained how some of the products worked while doing my hair to keep me informed and knew exactly what she was doing and how it would turn out. I had to get a correction done due to a color gone wrong and she fixed me up and made it better than I even imagined. She is so friendly and a ball of light! Have been coming to Mint for over a year, and always leave feeling great. Cassandra is a talented stylist. I have her cut, color, and wax brows. She is very knowledgeable about different techniques, but is also an open listener who seems truly invested in my satisfaction and wants her clients to feel good. Easy to chat with, but doesn't force conversation. Mint itself is cute, and feels clean and fresh. No traditional receptionist, so expect some delay sometimes. The stylists seem to take turns greeting walk-ins and building clientele. Give Mint a chance!
