I don't normally leave negative reviews, but I felt I needed to share my experience. I went to Bella West Salon 7/3/2026 hoping for long butterfly layers. My hair was past my waist. I was very clear and wanted to keep my length. Right from the start, the stylist I believe her name was Bianca older gal. With salt and pepper hair. She began cutting my hair while it was dry also asked me to stand out of my seat while cutting. I've been to several salons and never experienced that. It was unusual to me. By the end of my appointment, my hair was much shorter than I wanted, the layers look very choppy instead of soft and blended. What upset me just as much as I was treated. During the appointment, she made comments about my physical appearance that made me feel uncomfortable. I'm a Taller woman and those comments felt unnecessary and unprofessional. I also mentioned a recent shoulder surgery. Unfortunately she was rough and forceful when moving me. I left feeling disappointed not only with my hair cut but with the overall experience. A haircut can always grow out, but how you make a client feel matters too. I hope this feedback encourages more consideration, better communication, and respect for future clients. read more

I went to Estefany/Stef for my hair, I paid $320 for "balayage" and she gave me something completely different, my hair is 6 different colors and the blending is the worst I've ever gotten, she said she could fix it but kept changing the days & at this point I don't trust her with my hair so I asked for a partial refund so I can go somewhere else to fix it which she declined. As you can see , my hair got completely fried and she said it wasn't due to the hair bleach because she only used 5 & 10 Vol developer, I of course know that anytime bleach is used damage comes with it but she definitely left it on for too long and refuses to take any type of accountability. Went to @cynstylezz from here, so nice , very good service.I had went blonde with her and completely fried my hair. Virgin hair to fried hair? Says it was my fault cause I didn't take of my hair when I left I basically had no baby hairs left. Doesn't make sense Gave her the benifit of the doubt, went this last time with wanting to match my natural hair color, which is more on the clear brown side. Dyed my hair black. Lack of effort. Elssa completely FRIED my hair. I've been coloring and cutting my own hair for YEARS. haven't been to a salon since 2017. But I decided it was time to "treat myself". I went in with pictures as a reference of what I wanted and verbalized my needs as well. I mentioned I wanted something extremely dimensional and not blended. not only did I get results nothing like the picture but my hair is completely damaged and breaking. I had long luscious hair and now it's getting shorter by the day from all of the breakage. You could see the hair was complete straw after she bleached it and she attempted a milk bath to balance the ph which did nothing. I've never had an issue with breakage with my hair like this. I use high end heat protectors and deep conditioners regularly. It's so devastating ladies you know our hair is our pride and joy. My hair was so healthy and soft before coming here. When I initially saw how the color came out I voiced that I was utterly unhappy with the results (mind you the damage had already become visible at this point). she attempted to fix it and I could see there was no way she was going to deliver so I just counted my losses and called it a day. Updating my review. I was super thrilled when Jason moved over here for massages. I have gone here for years for my hair and occasionally for nails. I have done massage services here less regularly until Jason. I now get a massage at least once a month from him. He is a great and really helps with relaxation, pain, stretching, and getting knots out; truly whatever you need. He is really Good at adjusting the pressure as well. I went to Bella west 2 years ago and I was very pleased with the way my hair looked so I went two days ago and unfortunately I did not get the same outcome this time around. I will not mention any names, but let's just say the stylist is very young and she left my hair orange. I look horrible and I will now have to look for a place to fix this. I have been going to Bella West since the day Lilly Luevano started there ( for about 7 years now maybe longer) I used to see her at her previous salon and when I found out she had made the move to Bella West I had to follow her. I had the sweetest hairstylist Lauren and I enjoyed every time coming to see her... however, my hair was damaged to the point of no return ( too much bleach) and she also overcharged me for color correcting a previous bad job..it came out to over 400+ ( silly me for even paying that much) I ended up cutting my hair up to above shoulder length and waiting for my hair to grow out before even touching it again. Don't get me wrong I did love the color BUT my hair health should've been more important. Instead it was gummy when wet, straw like when dry and I could not get a brush through to save my life. .
