First time here on the way home from Frankenmuth, Michigan. First contact with the bearded gentleman up front was not positive. My wife had asked about parking and an off-handed comment was received. We figured he didn't normally talk to customers. My pasta was good and served at the proper temperature, however, my wife wasn't as lucky. The salmon she ordered was fine, but it was covered in scallions that were not mentioned on the menu. Her pasta, supposed to be served room-temperature, was cold, as if it had sat around waiting for the salmon. Our server was fine, however, she could have been much better. I really wish restaurants would realize that customers sitting in their dining rooms have chosen them over all their competition and treat them accordingly. I'm sure we could have had a similar experience somewhere else for the same $50. I wanted to give 4+ Stars today, but am unable due to the entire experience. read more

Perfect for work meals or just a chill night out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was attentive and extremely helpful with making drink choices. I orders the shark bite and it was literally like drinking a blue icee drink but spiked! As for the food, the garlic butter knots were so soft and doughy, my fave! Dont bother if you want to go for a special event or holiday. No one ever answers the phone if you try to make a reservation. Especially on the weekends. AND if you don't have a reservation you are out of luck. This has happened on numerous occasions. You'd be better off going to a neighboring city if you want authentic Italian. read more

I want to start off by saying I have loved this restaurant for years and it's my favorite Italian place. For me, it's an hour drive away. What we experienced on October 24, 2025 was extremely disappointing. We were being "served" by who I assume is an owner. We were not greeted, only asked what we wanted to order in a rushed manner. Not once did anyone ask us how our food was and I had to flag down the owner/our server to ask for a coffee. He did not make eye contact or even look at our table while frantically running around the restaurant (busing tables, bring checks to other tables). The only time the server was at our table was to bring our food/drink...which was three times. There were quite a few employees that were only busing tables and I wondered, why clear tables when you're not even serving your current customers? I overheard the owner/server, thanking three other tables for their patience. Sadly, not surprised. For a restaurant that has white tablecloths, this was McDonald's level service. If their food wasn't amazing, I'd never go here again. Hopefully they improve their service! read more

Food was absolutely wonderful, I ordered the veal saltimbocca which was very good. One of the best dishes I've ever had. My girlfriend ordered the bucatini and meatballs, the meatballs were also delicious. We sat at the bar, the bartender was very nice and attentive. Went on a Saturday night and the place was packed with people (definitely make reservations). Always a good sign even if there's a little wait. I've heard good things about their table bread, and it was pretty good. Since it was busy, it was a long wait between receiving food items, but once we did receive our food, it was very good. The meatballs appetizer had great flavor and size; the leftover sauce was a great dip for the table bread! I had the Three Cheese Tortellini which was nice and spicy even without adding any pepper flakes. Their salads that came with the entrees were also good. I have to give them props for their pricing - a bottle of wine for the table was not an exorbitant amount, and their food prices were more than fair. Their menu was varied and had other items besides Italian staples, so it makes coming back to try something new that much more inviting. Looking forward to stopping in again. read more

This is one of the best restaurants that I have been to. The menu made us want every item on it. All the food that was served to everybody at our table was excellent which included drinks, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Also, the service was very good and the prices were appropriate. Unfortunately, I live in Avon Lake, Ohio and that is a very long way to go for dinner. We were at a 2-day Regional Wrestle Tournament in Ada, Ohio for two days. Our grandson took 2nd place and will be going to the National Tournament for the 2nd year. Went with a small family group to enjoy dinner. We were seated promptly at our reservation time. Appetizer orders were placed along with our entree's and salads. Our drinks,salads and appetizers were all delivered together. A little awkward, but okay. The stuffed mushrooms were delicious, the calamari was tougher than rubber bands. Will not order this ever again. Most of our party ordered pasta dishes while I ordered the cioppino, the flavor of the dish was delicious. Little problems from the start, no soup spoon was provided. No dish or bowl was provided for shells and it was absolutely needed because so many mussel shells were broken that I had to try and sift the broth to keep from chewing shells with every bite. We went on a Saturday night and did not have a reservation, but thankfully they were able to seat us. When you enter the restaurant from Main Street, the bar area greets you. I don't know where their carved wooden gantry (back bar) is from, but it is probably the most beautiful I have seen in Ohio. The dining room is located in the back half of the property, and it looked a little cramped to our eye. As in, there seemed to be a couple extra tables squeezed in where there didn't necessarily need to be. Perhaps that's just to create the whole busy Italian restaurant vibe. Anyway, we were seated at a cute two-top in the bar area near the Main Street window. Decor in the place is done thoughtfully. As far as the food goes, it was amazing. My fiancée ordered three-cheese tortellini and I got bucatini and meatballs. Delicious all-around. As she could only eat half of her dish, I got delectable leftovers for lunch Monday. While in the Findley area on business this week we stopped by Rossilli's, twice, for dinner. On the first night I had the 8 oz center cut tenderloin with mashed potato. The steak was a steak. I mean for the price I was expecting more. I honestly couldn't tell much of a difference between an Outback or Applebees steak. This is probably the biggest reason I only gave a 3 out of 5 rating. Most of the group ordered the Blackened Meatloaf, which looked good and from what was said to me tasted good too. The next night we had a party of four. I ordered the Romano Crusted Chicken with pasta. It was good too, but something I could live without. I do know that the bill for the four of us that night was just over $70 without the tip. The restaurant does have a very nice ambiance with dark lighting they use. The staff is friendly and very helpful with the menu. The warm dinner rolls served before the meal are quite tasty too. Also the Caesar salad I had was pretty good. Rossilli's would, in my opinion, be a great place for a formal gathering or dinner or quiet date night. This place is worth a try! read more

Our waiter seemed like he didn't care about our table and spilled 2 drinks and dropped a plate on the table. Shrimp was undercooked and the food was overall very poor. Workers walked around like they did not want to be there. Our service was great! No complaints on our waitress or the ambience of the place. We are from Chicago and have high expectations of Italian food. The food was mediocre. The bruschetta is not traditional. It is a baked soft piece of bread. It is very tasty but not what it typical for this dish. The crab cannelloni was a sweet dish with a cream sauce. Not our cup of tea. However, the spicy seafood dish was what really disappointed us. The sauce was decent, but the fish was small and not fresh looking. The fried clams were smaller than French fries and overly breaded. We also did not get bread will they oil and Parmesan which is the typical for an Italian restaurant. We did get dinner rolls but again just not what a typical Italian restaurant is like. We will go back for lunch to try a more basic Italian dish. But we were disappointed. read more

Food great. Service bad. Get carry out. Visiting on a wed night at 7pm we were asked if we had reservations. No. Ok. Only 1 table available. It's by the front door and bar. Ok we will take it. We were there till after 9. 1/2 the restaurant were nice quiet tables that went UNUSED all evening. Seriously, there were about a dozen tables they could have given us. We ordered wine and waited 10 min for it to arrive. When I mentioned the pads of butter were rock hard to point of being unusable the waitress argued with me. Finally said she doesn't have any say over the butter temp. The bus boy was nice but wearing a tee shirt and ripped jeans. Is this a ho hum Applebee's-esque eatery or a special restaurant? It can't decide. The chef, through his/her craft, says "We are something special" the staff and management say "Yeah, whatever. Food's good, what ya complaining 'bout?" The menu is full of creative dishes, I would like to try each one. The food we had was quite good. We planned to stay for dessert but were just ready to be done by the time it was offered. So much potential...just train your wait staff and make everyone who walks through the door feel as though they are the most important people in the room. Never get defensive. Certainly don't make me feel stupid! Do this and there's no place better within 30 miles. read more

Rossilli's is perfect place for date night in Findlay. The small intimate restaurant is romantic and cozy. The entire staff was very friendly and our waitress made recommendations and kept our drinks full. I ordered the Farfalle and it was very good witht the exception of olives ( I don't remember them being listed on the menu and their flavor overpowered the dish, not being a fan of olives I was a little disappointed. My husband ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna and loved it. They served it raw, his requirement, and it was perfect. He relished in every moment of it. He did however not care for the wasabi mashed potatoes or slaw. For dessert we ordered the Blondie. It was served in a small dish, plated with paper. it was really difficult to spoon the dessert without dealing with the paper, a small annoyance. Next time I'll order a dish with red sauce and ask for no olives, Jon will substitute different sides, and we'll forego the dessert for a good bottle of wine. Great dinner, perfect restaurant. I'm not a world traveler, or a frequent domestic traveler for that matter, but from Columbus to Houston - New York to San Fransisco (L.A.s not worth mentioning), Rossilli's is in THE TOP 5! The Veal Saltimbocca is my favorite, and I have a hard time not ordering it when I go, but they have about 20 entries, and of the ~ 10 I've tried, you can't go wrong. Depending on drinks, and appetizer preference - you can dine for about $30/person (soup/salad, dinner, glass of wine, tip). I hate to set expectations too high, but for small town Findlay, OH - this is an excellent dining experience for the money. Hope you Enjoy! read more
