I was disappointed in the fact that they overcharged me for my 11 year old because she wasn't serviced in the "kiddie" chair. I've been coming here faithfully for approximately 6 months now after the salon I used to go to changed owners. I've had probably 10 or so nail technicians over this period of time and really like Annie and Mary. Also a nail tech I've had at another salon, Mandy, joined their team so I have 3 "go-tos." My mother has accompanied me 1 time in a visit and both Mary and Annie remember to ask me how she is. There are approximately 20 pedicure chairs and I've only had to wait once to get in a chair. I have had to wait for a tech to finish another customer, but I was checked back on pretty regularly. Their service is efficient and the one time I had an issue with a gel manicure it was fixed without question. Steven normally handles the appointments, check in and check out. He's pretty friendly, and helps moves things along. The only "complaint" I have is that you have to wait to get in a chair/station to pick out your gel or SNS colors. I'm pretty indecisive and the pressure is on to choose a color quickly knowing someone else is looking to use the same samples you could have been looking at while waiting. Finally, Mary does a good eyebrow. I thought she listened to what I wanted (I hate skinny brows!!!) and took her time with the cleanup and stray hairs. So awful. Rude and overpriced. I read the bad reviews and should have believe them. The stylist misunderstood me and accidentally made my nails extremely short. Instead of apologizing and offering to fix it, she got extremely upset with me and blamed me. The manager got involved and again, said it was my fault. He offered to put acyrlic tips on for me for free to make up for the fact that the stylist had accidentally made my nails too short. I agreed. In the middle of the appointment they had me get up and pay for the service even though the stylist wasn't finished (this was half an hour before they closed). They then had be sit at the drying bar for 5 minutes and the asked me to leave (15 minuets before they closed). I didn't even make it to my car before my nails got messed up because they weren't dry yet. All in all, this place was so much worse and SO much more expensive than the place on Alps. When you read the bad reviews, believe them. Don't go here. read more

I've been to most of the salons in Athens and this place is my favorite! I always get a full set and these are very high quality as far as full sets go, I feel. They're thick and not flimsy. The pedicures are nice too. It is a bit pricey but I feel you get what you pay for! I've never left dissatisfied. There is one guy I don't like- he can be rough on the hands and nails. I don't know if he can't tell he is or if he's in a hurry or what. I always let him know if he's hurting me though. I'll jerk my hand or say ow and he usually apologizes. If I get him I try to request someone else or only tip 10% for him. He doesn't do a bad job, he's just not careful. All the ladies do a really good job though! The place is usually busy but i've never had to wait more than 20 minutes to be seated. And their decor is really nice! They charge extra for multiple different gel colors or for weird nail shapes but I don't mind! read more

I go here regularly for my SNS manicures... I won't go anywhere else! I always make an appointment to see Hailey and I have never had to wait for more than 5 minutes. They do see a lot of customers so I recommend making an appointment. I have taken several friends here too and they have always been very happy with their service! However, if you're looking for a place to go and spend 2 hrs with someone taking their sweet time, this is not the place for you. I have heard mixed reviews about Bellagio Nail Bar; I've seen mixed results too. However, I just wanted a simple French tip manicure...simple, elegant, easy right? Nope. They were rude and wouldn't talk to me, rushed through my manicure even though I had been on their books for a week, and the tips were crooked! I tried to tell them the tips were uneven, but to no avail. Very lovely store, lots of colors, doesn't smell like other nail salons. I got a decent pedicure despite the fact that she forgot the sugar scrub. However, the manicure - oh my, no. There was a wait, and by the time my tech got around to the manicure, maybe she just wanted to be done already, or maybe she's just not good at manicures. First, I was given the manicure at the pedicure station instead of being moved to the manicure area. My arm was propped strangely on a pillow for the polishing. My other arm was pulled across my body and propped at an uncomfortable angle. I asked for a French manicure, I wish I had taken pictures because it was like no other French manicure I've ever seen. The tech appeared unsure of how much of a white tip to leave. Also! She cut my nails unevenly and then didn't file them. It was just a hot mess. I've never had a manicure before, so I kept expecting something different to happen, some step that would fix up all the loose ends and leave it looking great, but that never happened. I left with a manicure that looked like something a 12 year old at a sleepover would do. Maybe they'll get better, maybe it was just because they were ready to leave, but I'm not chancing it again. Typically I love this place! It's a little pricey in comparison to others places but they have great service for the most part. However, I just came in for a gel polish (not full manicure seeing as I just got a manicure a week and a half ago by them). Came to this salon after my husband purchased my mother and I a gift card for Mother's Day. Me, mother and my daughter arrived to the salon at 12:15. The lady behind the counter stated that it was a 45 minute wait or we could make an appointment for 2 pm. We chose to make an appointment for 2 so we could go and grab some lunch. We arrived back a few minutes before 2 and the same lady stated that she was waiting for 3 chairs to open up together and in the meantime I could go ahead and get my fingernails done. I proceeded to the nail station. As I sat getting my nails done, several chairs became available with 3 in a row that she continued to fill. Finally my mother went and reminded her of us. She then say my mother and my daughter in chairs. There was a third one open next to them. The lady doing my nails was in such a hurry to get done for me to get with my family I couldn't even enjoy it. When I was done with my nails a few minutes later I walked over to my family and the third chair had been sat. I walked to the front and asked the lady why? She actually started yelling at me! Saying that the people she sat there had an appointment. We did too!! Terrible customer service!!! She literally didn't remember what was going on. The manager of this salon is so unprofessional. Polite "enough" when you walk in to have a service but the minute you have an issue with what the technician has done the two managers swoop in and cross examine you the client. With the female manager there is a huge communication problem as her English is poor. They will argue and become defensive. The client is never right and they could care less about clients being happy and satisfied. They just want your money. If you are okay with a cattle call type atmosphere then by all means this is your place. read more

I'll be sure to also leave my review on any other outlet.... So- I wanted to give this place another try- so I got off work I called and asked about coming on in. Ole dude at the front said well actually we take our last customer at 6. (It was 6) I said but you guys don't close until 7. He said "yea uh well we take our last one at 6" I said HA ok. I just hung up I said screw it I'm going there- guess what (6:10) THEY TOOK ME!!! I went in and sat right down. The only reason I even go is because of a nail technician there name hailey. I've been here 4 times since they've opened. They are always courteous, kind and respectful. The prices are well within normal for the area. It is VERY CLEAN. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Absolute worst experience. I had a gift card that I came in two weeks ago to check the balance and then I left. I came back today to redeem my gift card and they're saying they swiped the card, charged it, and that I got service when I didn't on that day. Then an employee accused me of getting service done her with my mother who lives an hour and a half away and I never see her. This was my first time getting any kind of service done but they charged my gift card from that at I came in to check the balance. All of this happened as I was geting my nails done. I didn't even get my toes painted and my fingernails are smudged from dealing with this mess. The owner or manager called his IT department to check the video footage, which is what I wanted him o do to prove my case, but it's a shame that he's willing to lose a first time customer by thinking I'm lying and letting me go without my service completed. I will never ever return.now they're saying I'm never allowed back hahahaha. I will never return. I hope people stop giving them business because this is absolutely sucks. I am from out of town and walked into this salon without an appointment. They were just about to close but agreed to see me and my guests as quickly as possible with about a 20 minute wait. It had only been about 10 minutes when they called us back for our pedicures. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I got a deluxe pedicure and felt that I got great service for my $35. I am so glad I did not read the reviews on their Facebook page before going because my experience was nothing like those negative reviews. Was charged $35 for a gel fill.Yes a fill not a set! And $22 for pedi. They rushed through the whole thing and my nails have bubbles in them. Also my pedi was done in like 15 minutes. They were not friendly to me. And speaking in Vietnamese in front of your customers is not a good policy when you both speak English. I just had my nails done and they were very rude. I asked for the lady to go over one nail because I wasn't pleased with it and she said "no hunny it's fine" no hunny obviously it's not if I'm asking you to fix it not asking for your opinion. If I'm paying for it, it shouldn't matter till I'm pleased. I pointed it out again, and she say back down and began fixing the nail as she's being loud and throwing her tools in the draw and jerking my hand around, I don't think so. A friend and I went here and we were hesitant they seemed busy, but we were pleasantly surprised when we were seated right away to begin our pedicures (she was also getting a full acrylic set mani & I was also getting an SNS mani). My feet were in the water so long the water became cold by the time my nail technician began. Upon me asked for the water to be made warm again my manicurist has to translate between us the whole time because the technician did not speak English. When asked if I wanted my nails cut, I said no just filed. They were filed so short that he had no pinky toe nail to paint on and painted on the pinky toe skin. My manicurist also finished the manicure in under 20 minutes.... no lotion, no cuticle cutting, nothing. Only two coats of SNS and it was a sheet color. I kept asking if certain mistakes would be fixed and she seemed annoyed at my asking. My friends pedicure was completely finished (and it was a mediocre pedicure for the price) before the manicure was started and she was asked by multiple people if she was getting a manicure to which she answered yes to everyone. We were both given final prices before we even began and after the manicurist finished shaping her nails the manager came by to say "oh yes a shape cost an additional $5". They did not mention this at the beginning or anything when she mentioned the shape. They kept finding later "add-on prices". She questioned the shape of one saying she didn't like it to which they replied "no it's fine" and completely ignored her request to fix the nail. ???? If she's paying then she decides!!! They also asked her IN THE MIDDLE OF HER MANICURE TO GET UP AND PAY RUDELY. She wanted to wait to the end to pay to make sure the job was up to par but they seemed very eager to get their money. Her acrylic set was not worth the price. The technician was very rough and rushed through the entire process of her set, very obviously just trying to get us to leave. Shittiest nail salon in Athens. I'm sitting here now steaming while I look at my pink and white solar nails that you can see the shaved part of my nails through the pink and a red speck glued in one. Service was not great, the girl who did my nails made me bleed and rushed me off to carry mine and my sisters things alone with wet toes. If only having a really nice interior made up for the quality of service, unfortunately that's not the case. First the wait was ridiculous, after waiting for 30 minutes they started on my nails and then halfway through they still hadn't started helping my friend, who was getting both a mani and pedi. She ended up not having anything done, which is probably a good thing because the guy who was going to do hers had to remove the gel polish from the nails of the girl he had just painted, because it was all over the edges. Then, a woman came from the back asking if someone was going to come do her eyebrows because she had been sent back there and nobody had gone back to help her for 20 minutes. All I can say is they need to figure out there time management or hire more people if they want to offer better service. read more

I started going to this nail salon about two years ago. There were different owners at that time and I really enjoyed going there for mani/pedi's. It wasn't long until there was a whole new set of owners running it and they DON'T care about the customer only the mighty dollar! The husband usually checks everyone in and is very friendly. His wife apparently runs the show and is extremely rude running around with a pad speaking another language making fun of customers (yes making fun of customers)! Although I am very particular, I'm always friendly in my attempts to ask for exactly what I want as there always seems to be a language barrier. I found one particular technician that always did a beautiful job (acrylic nails with various shapes like stiletto or rounded). When I would come in and ask for her there were several of the workers who would call her name out and laugh as if implying that she's the "unlucky" one because she has to deal with me. I believe this is because I would ask for exactly the shape I like with thin layers of acrylic so as to look more natural. Apparently this was asking too much because despite the language barrier you could tell they didn't like me asking for more attention to the shape and requesting thin acrylic layers. I've never complained nor been rude to anyone there that did my nails, I only asked for my nails to be done a particular way. I've always tipped 20%. After two years of feeling uncomfortable going there I've decided to search for a new salon. They're very expensive and the way they treat customers is just not worth it anymore. I left with smeared nail polish but didn't care I've had enough! If anyone decides to open a clean, well-stocked nail salon with friendly staff that don't rush you or talk about you they'll put these kind of salons out of business! I'd almost love to open one as I know most people want a relaxing spa-like experience! DON'T WASTE YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY!! read more

I went to Bellagios for the first time today, and it seems like all of the "bad service" that I read about in previous reviews has been resolved by the new owners/management. I received EXCELLENT service, and only had to wait a minute or so. I didn't feel rushed in any way, and the staff was very kind. A good pedicure for a reasonable price! I will definitely return. read more
