I made an appointment over the phone, they asked if I had been to their location before. I said no and they offered me a half off discount. I drove all the way there and they told me I would not qualify because I had been to a location in 2019 in Louisiana (it's 2023 this location is in Athens, Ga). EWC is overpriced because the waxes they offer you could get somewhere else for cheaper and they would look the same if not better. I went in for an eyebrow wax. The ladies were really nice and the rooms were nice also. However, I've honestly gotten better eyebrow waxes at various nail salons. The only reason I gave them a try was because they offer a free wax for first timers. Definitely wouldn't recommend spending money here. Nice staff though. read more

I just visited European Wax Center, and I must say the staff is very welcoming! Taylor, the front desk clerk, was very polite and informative, seeing as this was my first visit. They offer complimentary services on your first visit, mine was underarms (desperate need). My aesthetician, Emannuelle, was also very polite and friendly. The only negative thing I will say is that this center is a bit more expensive than the other wax centers I've patronized. However, with that being said, I guess the reason for that is because they seem to be a bit more "high-falutin" than others b/c they give out complimentary items after your visit (don't know if that's for every visit), and the first one is free. As far as recommending them to others, sure, go ahead and try them out! You won't be disappointed, but be prepared to spend a little bit extra on your visits after the complimentary one! read more

I've used EWC for years in different locations as I'm a flight attendant but today's visit was by far the BEST with MARY!!! She was so professional and she kept me laughing!!! If I could give her 10 stars I would not to mention the receptionist were also so friendly!! I live over an hr away but I'll definitely be returning again!!! read more

DO NOT GO HERE. Honestly if you need a cheap wax sure but I felt like I was being interrogated and rushed the entire time. Fastest wax of my life but I left still covered in wax and with hair still following my Brazilian. Fast forward a few hours and now have the WORST rash of my life. My mother brought me here for my first wax, after she had been a loyal customer for months -- no complaints she loved the service especially her wax lady, Mary. However today we received the most despicable service. We were scheduled for both armpit and bikini line, yet they implored we both were put down for Brazilians. Despite this minor error they behaved as if we couldn't switch over to the ORIGINAL service. Ugh, my mom (even though being told there was a 9 minute Grace period) was turned away by Mary with the most disgusting attitude after arriving 3 minutes late -- told "I'll only be able to do one strip". I'm glad the first wax was free otherwise I would be more upset than I already am. The waxer did not listen to how I wanted my eyebrows waxed and totally ruined them. They are lopsided and not the same length after leaving European Wax Center. I will not be returning. Awful. read more

I went to EWC because my usual salon was fully booked, and I was on a time crunch. The reviews online told me this was a good place to go, but the service was not good. Trinite did my brazilian, and she did not do a good job. She could not wax at all; this was the most painful brazilian I have ever received. Everytime she pulled the wax strip, she could not pull it off completely, so she had to pull each wax strip twice to make sure it came off my skin. She did not remove all my hairs; I had to go home and shave again to ensure it was fully clean down there. Everytime she spoke to me, it felt like she was trying to sell me one of their products and recommend me for another service instead of making me feel comfortable. Maybe the other estheticians at EWC are better, but I do not recommend Trinite. read more

The first wax was free so that's what drew me to try a new place. I won't be going back though. It's modern, clean and the staff is welcoming. I got a bikini but the whole process was so rushed. I didn't notice until I got home that the lines were really uneven. I wouldn't have minded the rush so much if the end result had been better. read more

I read reviews to go here, but the service was subpar! I could smell alcohol on the breath of the lady at the front desk, and my eyebrows were not even at all!!! I felt pressured to buy their products when I came in for my free service. I went for a wax service not a retail store. Don't say free if you want me to buy shit. I went downtown to a wax center and I felt like I was at one of the clubs because of the awful, distillery smell. Please someone do something about this. asap! read more

The wax they use is not for sensitive skin even though they claim it is. I have been getting Brazilian waxed for years and have never broken out like I have with their wax. The lady who waxed me pulled off skin too! It's been a month and I still have really bad scabs and redness from their wax. I have very sensitive skin on my legs and they tried to talk me into getting my legs waxed too promising that their wax was the best for sensitive skin. I'm so thankful I didn't because if I broke out this bad in a place where my skin isn't sensitive, I can't imagine how my legs would look. read more
