When I cam to this office, I had the same fear. The first time, I had all the amalgam on the left side done. Took about one hour and I came home without any sensitivity. I came back again and finished all the right side. Again, no sensitivity vs. the worked that was done by previous dentists. They also stop in between procedure when they see that I needed a break. What I didn't tell her is that I got a deep cleaning less than 6 months prior. She said my gums bled a little as she was poking around with her metal tool. Well, I have not seen any blood on my gums for at least 15 years no matter how much I brush and floss which is a lot hence the lack of blood. When I told her I wasn't going to do that, she got another woman ( I forget her name. ) to come in and assure me that now is the best time because blah blah blah. When I denied them, they both looked disappointed and defeated. Almost depressed! I did have to get a minor procedure done on a molar so now enter Dr. Karren a few weeks later. He jabbed me with his needle and I let out a yelp from the pain and he didn't say one damned word. He just kept jabbing about 3 more needles because he seemed very much in a hurry. He didn't wait in between needles. Just BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM! I can't say if he overbooks because he wants to do as much work as possible to bring in the $$$ but he definitely seemed to be in a hurry as he was running around from patient to patient. The guy lacked bedside manner to say the last and I believe he has become desensitized to people yelping in pain because he's heard it so many times. Also, their equipment looks very outdated. The way they take xrays is decades old. I've gone to another dentist since and his xray machine looks space ago and they use a painless needle called "The Wand". It's a revolutionary tool to painlessly inject novocaine. In my opinion "Dr". Karren is living in the dark ages and his office is more about the $$$ than anything else. Again, how they have so many good reviews is beyond me but I told of my experience so you be the judge.

The dentist is extremely unprofessional and come and goes, they forgot about me. She has an emotional support dog running around in the rooms. Without asking me the hygienist put the dog on my stomach and left it there for an hour. I am allergic which is besides the point. So unsanitary!!! They cracked a tooth while doing the cleaning and will not fix it or pay to have it fixed somewhere else. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! I am filing complaints with the dental board.

The color is noticeably off, and multiple people have already commented on it. I am stuck with these teeth for 4 to 6 months.
