We stayed here last weekend! First things first. The property is gorgeous. The house sits back from the road with a long tree flanked drive way. It is a stunning old house. Holly, the owner is so sweet and kind. There a chickens on the property. There is complimentary wine, water, snacks, and soda in the common areas of the house. It was a very enjoyable stay and we plan to visit here again.

    Fresh cookies daily.

This is my first experience with a B & B last year and I loved it so much I came back here. Yes, it costs more than a hotel, but the whole experience is worth it to me! They greet you as if you were a close family friend and they have a "wine" time at 5 pm. An hour of drinking, eating some well paired snacks and visiting with other patrons of the evening. The rooms and bathrooms are well supplied with all the amenities that a hotel would offer plus some. Hotels do not offer shower caps anymore, and I do not remember if they have ever offered you cotton balls and q-tips. There are extra washcloths so the ladies can remove makeup. Each room is uniquely decorated, and the grounds are great. Giant shuffleboard. The breakfast each morning is amazing and if you go away hungry, that is on you! They package the pastries "to go" if you have left overs. With all the food, there is leftovers. Did I tell you the food is amazing? The table setting is gorgeous and they will accommodate food allergies, but you have to let them know, preferably when you book. The beds are comfortable and they even turn down your bed for you. Grandma doesn't even do that. The owners have a great relationship with the local businesses and give you a list of where you can get a discount or free gift. The B&B is walking distance from down town Bellaire, which was really nice and went well with the great weather we were having. (10/13-10/16/2016)

We stayed in the Senora room. The room was just lovely. The bed was soft and cozy, the attached bathroom is spacious and full of all the personal touches to make your visit feel special. Jamie is the perfect host! Welcoming, around if you need her but not hovering. The breakfast is TO DIE FOR!!! And I am not a breakfast person. We booked the high tea add on package and oh boy what a treat that was!!! We planned to stay at the Inn and just relax. Read a book on the gorgeous covered wrap around porch, just talk and have a good visit, or we brought a puzzle to do. We ended up decided to do a puzzle and Jamie had no problem with letting us take over half the dining room table to do it. We had such a wonderful time working on the puzzle with music playing in the background and all the selection of options to tea, coffee, cocoa, or water made it perfect. We finished our 1,000 piece puzzle in one day! We hit it off with Jamie and felt like we were staying with an old friend. We enjoyed our stay so much we decided that we are going to make it an annual trip! I could go on and on with all the details that made us feel special but instead I am just going to say.. book the room and make the trip; you won't be disappointed.

Alice, who runs the place was so wonderful and the breakfast she made was the best I have had. In addition, her son Charles was one of the most interesting people I have met. Lastly, I would be remiss not to mention the breakfast Alice prepared. We were treated to Eggs Benedict, fresh baked muffins and plentiful fruit. Just an all around memorable stay.

Why is it called the Spring Lighthouse. We arrived later than expected, probably interrupting the Innkeepers Dinner. Darci greeted us warmly and we chatted for a couple of minutes before making our way up to our room. I was instantly impressed by the charms of this well appointed, wondrous home. Next it was outside to check out the grounds. The sky was overcast but it did not diminish the property's beauty in the least. Time for Breakfast, I mean, it is half the name. We were greeted by Innkeepers Darci & Tom. They are such an incredible couple. The type of people you'd hope to meet on vacation, and then spend some quality time with. Warm, friendly, and so very comfortable to be around. Even if they couldn't cook I would have had a great start to my day. But shortly we were blown away by a delicious Blueberry Stuffed French Toast. I realized we were experiencing the very best of both worlds. I have stayed in some of the top-rated B&B's in the north east quadrant of our country and have never felt so fortunate to be sharing a home. Honestly, six nights was not nearly enough. About the name, "Spring" is very appropriate. The property is so mentally renewing. It, along with Tom & Darci, help create a positive frame of mind. Angst and worries melt into comfort and relaxation. A Reiki massage for the mind. Lighthouse? I'd say two words Light-Home. "Light" (natural agent that stimulates sight & makes things visible). "Home" (the place we feel most comfortable, loved & protected - where we most feel at Home). We can't wait to return. There's no place like Home, even if ... technically, it's not really yours.

Everything about our experience was beyond comfortable. The view overlooking the lake is indescribable. Please get up early and watch the sunrise and make sure to catch the sunset. Once the sun goes down, being able to sit outside by the fire table with a mug of tea and/or hot chocolate.   The B&B is located close to the little downtown, and it is easy to take a stroll into down and go to a local restaurant while taking in the view of the lake. Lastly, the breakfast sets the mood for a great day. We absolutely plan to stay here again in the future.
